Cast of Characters: Micola Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Christmas was just a few days away and Micola WAS STRESSED! It's the first Christmas as a Wife and mother of Twins. She put just as much joy in decorating for Christmas as she did for Halloween. The girls might not be old enough to remember, but she wanted to make the memories special for the whole of the family that was visiting on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

But, that was a few days away, tonight she had cooked dinner a little early and made sure that the girls were down for the evening before she'd taken Pietro back down to the living room to help wrap presents. "I know you can do this is...seconds. But that's no fun." she muses to him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Pietro did everything he could to take stress away - but people are going to people. Anything he could do to help, he was there to do. Christmas was not too terribly fancy normally for him, but with a family it was a new thing. He wanted to make things perfect as well.

A grin as she mentions how fast he could complete the task. "True. It's better that we share this time for us." A nod to her from the speedster. "We can enjoy the wrapping, and being together." A laugh. "Just remember, when they get older they will tear through the paper quicker than I can wrap it." He waggles his brows.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Pietro does a wonderful job of keeping stress at bay for Micola. She has snacks for them and there is Christmas themed movies that are playing in the background. "I think I spent too much on presents." she muses to that. "And I figure that we should start setting some evenings aside when they are sleeping so good. That will probably stop before we know it." she admits.

"Oh I hope they don't rip through things as fast." she laughs.

"Is there anything you want for Christmas that you've not gotten?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Snacks are frequently needed - Pietro is definitely quite appreciative of such things. "I don't think you did. I think we got exactly what we wanted for them, and for us. We did not go into debt over it." A slight smile. "I am sure we can arrange for nights where your mother is open to watch them." Pietro grins. "She wants to spoil them too."

"I recall tearing open presents - it's a tradition."

A pause as she asks. "I mean, you gave us the best presents I could have ever asked for." He beams to her. "How about you? Did you have something on your list you were wanting?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"Yeah...no debt for Christmas." Micola chuckles to that. "I think she's about to retire early so that she can be a nanny, but I don't want her doing that full time. She needs some breathing room as well." she chuckles.

"Well, presents can be torn open then." she sticks her tongue out at him after those words.

"I mean, they are going to be expensive...but precious presents." she muses to him. "And no, I think I've gotten everything that I've wanted this year so far." she tells him. "Maybe an extra large pizza with extra cheese would be in the cards." she grins.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"I am sure she'd love that. And I can assure you, we'd be taking the girls so she could have days off, of course." Pietro comments. "But I cannot and will not make that decision, that's her choice." A smile to her, leaning over to sneak in a kiss to her cheek.

A laugh as she sticks her tongue out. "Pizza? That can be easily done - our usual place?" He asks, ready to go if she agrees. "And they are worth every penny and more."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"It's something we can talk about over the New Year. I think right now we're all scrambling to make sure the holiday is as perfect as possible and I don't want to talk to her on things until after that." Micola tells him.

"Our usual place sounds lovely and I'm guessing that we can clear a big pizza out between the two of us." she grins at him.

"Do you have any Christmas traditions?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Quicker than most would see, he orders their usual from their favorite place. The phone is set back down, after he gets the confirmation and pickup time. "After the holidays, we'll sit down and talk if she brings it up. I'm of the mind that we should let her come to us if she wants to do that."

Pietro glances around, then back to her. "Used to be just myself and Wanda, sitting about and exchanging gifts. Yule log, warm fire..." A smile to her.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"Why don't you invite Wanda and Lorna to Christmas? We have more than enough room and things. I think it might be nice to have them." Micola offers with a smile. After her orders the pizza there is a happy little wiggle in her seat, aww yes, pizza!

"We can do a yule log and all of that as well. I think I'm just worried that things are going to be horrible." she chuckles.
