Synopsis:	A training mission in urban combat for some agents.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
A facility is being setup for urban combat. A four story tall old school Soviet concrete residential building. With a clear view for a hundred meters or so around, barbed wire strung in front of it, indicators of mines and places up in the windows and behind cover that are sniper posts, reinforced machine gun positions, and indiciations of mortars on the roof. It has a kill zone throughout the area being used for 'training' with everything that might have been useful for cover along the route having been cleared out, with small foxholes dug between the mined areas.
    Natasha is speaking to the group of trainees. "FOr those of you that haven't done building clearing operations, this will be a basic course. The building is defended by an estimated company of the enemy, with several snipers, heavy machine guns, and at least two mortars on the roof. For thsoe that have researched the Battle of Stalingrad, this is a recreation of 'Pavlov's House'."

Cinque Evers has posed:
"Okay, I have a stupid question." Cinque raises his hand awkwardly in the air as he asks, "Are we simulating clearing a building with Icers?" Cinque coughs nervously as he continues to speak, I just want to make sure that I a clear understanding of the objective." Cinque shakes his head as he still getting use to work on making his style fit Shield's Rules of Engagement.

Cinque takes his left hand to softly rub the back of his neck for a few moments as he shifts his gaze from Natasha to the bulding, and back to Natasha.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would shake her head, "No, neutralize all defenders by whatever means. They will be dug in and trying to kill you." Within the boundaries of the exercise - with other groups of SHIELD Agents playing the defenders for the operation. "You are to secure the strongpoint and neutralize the defenders by whatever means you can." For most of military history, this was the sort of thing that gave nightmares. Clearing a building room by room, where all you had were small arms and grenades.

"The defenders have likely put a large number of booby traps within the interior, and likely have personnel laying in ambush positions and have interior kill zones and barricades."

Cinque Evers has posed:
"Yes, Ma'am." Cinque furrows his brow slightly as he nods his head. One of the Shield Agents fails in his attempt to hide his disgust in Cinque's questions by expressing a smirk. Cinque and the other agents gather together to discuss strategies, and grabbed their gear. Cinque takes a moment to grab some of his Oletha's toys that he is familiar with along with some Shield Gear.

One of the more senior members of the recruit class have decided that the best plan is for them to head towards them in multiple directions, while trying to evade the sniper. Cinque tells them that his experience when clearing out drug houses is that it best to go with a diversion to help you close the distance. Cinque lays out his plan, and gets the others to reluctantly agree to it. Cinque gibes the signal and the teams a barrage of smoke bombs. Two members stay hidden to try to spot tand take out the snipers.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would give a nod, "Good luck. Take your time and go room by room. If you get spread out, then the enemies can counterattack you and cut you off. But also keep moving or they can bring down reinforcements and heavy weapons to thin you through." Yes, it was training, and loadouts were more laser tag tier at most. But fighting at ranges of under a dozen meters would be brutal. "And first you have to get into the buliding.."

And then she's stepping back as the recruits start. Fire comes from the building, even as the smoke bombs give them concealment up above. THe defenders are going for suppressive fire - they can move quickly but they have to avoid the minefields.

Cinque Evers has posed:
"Red Team, shift visors to radar and find a path through the mines. Cinque shouts on the coms, "Every else shift to infrared, and lay down cover fire for Red Team. Cinque uses his perception to peer through the smoke and continues talking on the coms, "A house like this destroyed tank divisions, but we are Shield. The Red Team slowly makes their way to the path allowing the other team members a clear path to the house.

Red Team, forty Thieves!" Red Team begins to lay down simulatd bombs to blow a hole in the building, while the other members to continue to cover them. Cinque shouts, "Get it done! This smoke is going to clear soon.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
They have thier moment to quickly get inside - some demo charges will let them breach through somewhere that's not the front door that's going to be booby trapped to hell and back. So they can get quick in without more than random potshots from the groups in the foxholes, more suppressive fire from other teams on their own side to keep them down and occasionally at the building.

The defenders are trying to get an idea of where the attackers are so they can quickly block it off.

Cinque Evers has posed:
If this was his usual solo mission, Cinque would have use grapple hook, crash into the upstairs window, and started from the top of the building to give him the element of surprise. Cinque's ability to multitask allows him to regret his present predicament, but still continue to issue out orders. Once all groups inside, he speaks on coms to the members outside hiding to take out the snipers, "No heroics. Do not fire a shot at the guys in the foxholes."

Cinque motions for the team to split into three separatte columns. "Go slow, stay away from the windows, and use your infrared." Cinque pulls out his pistols and twirls them, "No one moves to each room is cleared, and inspect each door before you open it."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Room by room is a mess. But a necessity. Any group that does anti-terrorist operations has to know how to do it. And to fight to take an area meter by bloody meter. At Cinque's instruction, the squads under his command do so as ordered. They move as instructed.. Up ahead there's sounds of swearing and heavy clicking. Along that side of the corridor there's a SAW being assembled and rapidly put over to a small hardpoint.

The defenders don't know that the area has been penetrated, but they're rapidly moving to lock down the area.

Cinque Evers has posed:
Cinque breathes a sigh of relief that this scenario didn't add the extra difficulty of trying to free hostages too. Cinque with his pistols give his group the extra advantage in this fight. It still doesn't prevent a member of Red Team from standing to close to one of the windows, and getting shot by one of the snipers. This does allow one of the snipers to be taking out by the outside team.

Cinque shouts, "Red Team, clean and fall back to me. "The defenders have to come in this direction to slow our progress. Blue team needs to go ahead, and finishing clearing the floor. cinque's knowledge of Shield tactics and his own experience help his enhanced intuition to guess right about the defenders coming to meet them. The defender are quickly neutralized on this floor.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
They can also take and hold. They don't want to move so quickly they can get cut off, but thier enemy can't just hunker down. There's quick back and forths of fire ahead as the team goes to switch up positions - some advancing, others staying in place as instructed. However, for one of the flanking teams there's a bit of an issue up ahead.

The defenders have left a shaped charge in the wall that if it goes off will take all of the advancing group out and would represent caving 'in' the corridor, rendering it fully inaccessible.

Cinque Evers has posed:
Blue Team leader backs away from the shaped charge, cursing to herself. Not being sure if radio frequency can set off the charger, Blue Team leader being to work on disarming the charger. She takes off her helmet, and motions for the group to shield her with their bodies as she works on disarming the charge.

Cin2u4 conti and his group continues firing on advancing defenders as they make towards Blue Team's location.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Disarming active traps is tricky. They also have to do it before the enemy notices that they're present there. All it would take is a couple of grenades and the entire fireteam would be down for the count. The advancing defenders are in this zone at least kept pinned by Cinque's group.

At least three of themd rop as the rest scramble backwards to get to some version of cover.

Cinque Evers has posed:
Blue Team leader humss, "It's Been One Week" to herself as she works on disarming the charger. As the sweat pours down her face, she disarms the charger, and takes a step back from the device. She calls on the comms and whispers, "Blue Team encountered a little prize that we can use, but we are going to need everyone to fall back.

Cinque gives the signal to fall back. As the team falls back, they lay down suppressing fire until they get to Blue Team's location. quickly Cinque's inspects the charger, and motions everyone up the stairs. When the defenders approach the charger in the wall, Cinque fires a shot to set off the charger in hopes of reversing the trap on the defenders.
