Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The thing about abandoned warehouses? They're abandoned - which means that few people who may care about the property come around. If ever. It makes it all too easy for those who have other uses for such a building to trespass and do whatever they wish; Raves, pop-up chop shops, drug labs. Free storage with no questions asked.

One such warehouse in Gotham has the glow of lights coming from deep inside its cavernous spaces.

Leaning her forearms against the handlebars of her motorcycle, Huntress studies the building with a frown. Maybe it's just Resting Bitch Face.. just don't suggest that to her.

"That seems the most likely place. The details were helpfully vague but Jerry was unconcious before I could beat more details out of him" she offers casually. "There aren't any other buildings showing signs of activity. Worth checking out. If those guns are there we need to round them up before they make it to the streets." A casual glance toward her fellow Bird shows a twinkle in her eyes. She is looking forward to some action!

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman smiles, sitting easily on her customized motorcycle next to Huntress. "Yeah, looks like the place. Worth checking out, in any case. Even if they're not the ones we're looking for, definitely looks like something is going on." She glances back at Huntress.

"How loud do you want to be? Because I'm thinking we can sneak in and take them by surprise pretty easy at this point."

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Dipping her head into a nod, Huntress looks back to the three story structure. "Quiet is best. When we know what's going on we can go loud if needed" she agrees.

Studying the building she offers, "Split up? Come in East and West? Looks like we can get up on the roof easily enough and drop down on them. No one ever looks up." Unless of course saying it just jinxed their plan.

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman smiles, "Perfect. I'll take West and see you up top." She revs the motorcycle and drives off in that direction. Once there she hides the bike in a safe space to avoid drawing attention... and then up she goes.

Having a grapple gun makes it rather easy to ascend to the top of the warehouse, without drawing any attention. Upon reaching the rooftop, she stalks her way towards where the lights were coming from.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Nodding, Huntress lets Batwoman ride off first then drove off to place her bike behind a number of large dumpsters. Pulling one of her crossbows, she secures a grapple tip and fires it off. The thin line trailing behind whistles faintly as it rises through the air. Once secured, she clips it to her weapon harness and uses the auto ascender to quickly reach the top of the warehouse.

Once in position, she spares a look back down below. Still quiet.

"In position. Looking for a quiet way inside" she murmurs into her comm.

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman murmurs back into the comm, "Roger that. Doing the same up here. Think I found a skylight for a loud way in, but looking for something more subtle." She pauses, then grins a little to herself as she sees a rooftop access door. "Got it. There's a door up here, probably locked but that shouldn't be a problem. No sentries outside."

With that, she pulls a set of lockpicks out of her utility belt and starts to work. Doesn't take long for her to pop the lock and open the door. Quietly of course, as she creeps quietly inside the warehouse.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Snorting in amazement at Batwoman's update that there are no guards, Huntress replies, "You'd almost think these guys want us to show up and nab them." Easing open a pane in the skylight on her end, she quickly drops down into the steel beam rafters and scans the layout below.

Frowning she adds, "That may actually be the case. Watch yourself. Something doesn't feel right. They've got their toys all laid out, not crated up to sell and ship like Jerry claimed." Narrowing her eyes, she searches the warehouse carefully.

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman nods, "Yeah, this feels like a trap. But as they say, knowing it's a trap is the first step in evading it." She moves quietly along the warehouse rafters, her eyes flickering around as she murmurs, "Think I found the problem. They're inside. Weapons trained on the skylight."

She smiles wryly, "Guess I'm glad I didn't come in the traditional way. They were ready for that." And she does a quick count, "Looks like four guards, weapons focused on the skylight. How you want to play this?"

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress looks toward Batwoman's end and nods into the darkness. "I see them. From my position they're barely in view. Let me reposition so I can back you up." A silent swing from one rafter to another, staying in the shadows, brings her to a better vantage. "Okay. Two and two? When mine are down I'll help with yours?" The grin in her voice is easily heard. Competitive shots fired!

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman chuckles, "There was a bit of static there, but I think I heard you say, when mine are down, I'll help with yours, right." She smiles and moves into position, "I'll take the two on the west side, you take the east." Her eyes narrow, 'And watch out for reinforcements, this can't be the only surprise they have."

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
"Mmmhmm" Huntress responds with a thin smile. She reaches to her thigh and grabs her staff, expanding it fully.

"Go." She drops off the rafter, letting herself freefall from two stories above. The impact on the first guard's shoulders makes him crumple to the concrete floor letting out a muted groan of pain and surprise. Rolling forward and off of the currently prone guard, she keeps low and spins around, striking out with her staff to try and knock the second guard down.

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman descends silently, her cape spreading to slow her fall as she drops a kick right onto a guard's head, knocking him flat to the ground. Using him as a cushion for landing, she quickly spins out a kick, catching the second guard on her side in the midsection and knocking the wnid out of him.

With that, she follows up with a swift uppercut to lay him flat. Her eyes flicker back over towards Helena, making sure she's got her end covered. Not that she has any doubt, but she hasn't gotten this far by presuming such things.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
As Huntress spins to take on her second guard, he has begun to raise his gun. The weapon is her first target, striking it with the end of her staff then she follows through with the other end, jamming it between his legs and twisting. The guard tumbles backwards. Hitting his head as he falls, a muted moan is his last sound before unconciousness overtakes him.

A quick glance to check for any guards coming to help their friends leads to Huntress slowly standing. "Nice.." Her dark eyes turn to regard the display of weapons, frowning again. "Doesn't really make sen--"

Before she can finish her statement, a spotlight flares to life from the shadows. Heavy footfalls bring the figure into the lit area of the warehouse. One of the men is strapped into a set of combat armor. The whir of servos and the thud of heavy metallic steps grows louder. Grinning, the man lifts his left arm - which supports a minigun.

As the multiple barrel tips begin to spin up rapidly to fire, Huntress' eyes grow large and she dives to the side, "Find cover!"

With an angry buzzing sound, the hail of bullets begins to shred through stacked crates.

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman ducks to the side, staying just ahead of the bullet fire, "Hey, did I mention I was packing some special gear, since the Justice League had to deal with an Amazo recently?" She says that over the comms, as she gets a bit of a wicked grin on her lips. "Think we should introduce this guy to the downsides of wearing power armor, yeah?"

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Rolling behind a stack of crates, Huntress grimaces as she finds the stack rapidly being shredded. Rolling behind another stack as she draws her crossbows, she nods, "Sounds good to me Batwoman. I've got a few newer toys as well. It'd be rude of us not to share with him. You go high I'll go low?" she asks and prepares to dive out from behind the next stack of crates already starting to get chewed up - the power armor has two guns it seems, one on each arm and the spray of bullets spreads toward the last known positions of both vigilantes.

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman nods, "You got it!" then leaps out of from behind the crates she took cover behind, sprinting quickly around so that it's hard for the power armor to track both of them at once. Trusting her suit's bullet proof nature, she leaps into the air, taking the opportunity to toss out her mag-pulse grenade at the power armor. It doesn't look like much, until there's a brilliant blue-white flash as the armor suddenly finds the servos and guns unable to do anything...

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Diving out from behind her quickly disappearing cover, Huntress fires two crossbow bolts toward the power armor.

As the grenade explodes and seems to shut the armor down, the guard growls and tries to bang on the armor to get it to power up. Which it does but much more slowly.

Huntress' bolts both strike the armored legs. They burst and emit a rapidly expanding sticky foam that soon covers the armor and slows it further, threatening to topple it over.

"Must have hardened circuits. We need to cut the power source before he can recover."

Kate Kane has posed:
Batwoman nods, "Alright, on it." She nimbly leaps up and lands on the power armor's back, "Now where's the... aha, there it is." She grins and works on the back of the power armor, narrowing her eyes as she pulls out a batarang. Non-conductive blades are great for slicing through electronics, which she does with quite a bit of glee as the power armor is currently stuck in place.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The second time is a charm apparently. The power is cut and the armor wobbles before it falls over with an almightly THUD to rest on its chest. It goes silent - save for the swearing and yelling of the guy trapped inside it.

Huntress closes in and drops down, "Tough break. Looks like you're trapped. Wonder if your friends will come to save you. Think they will? Jerry sends his regards by the way."

The man swears more, struggling hopelessly inside the heavy suit.

Looking to Batwoman, she offers a smile, "Thanks.. I need to get a knife like that."

Satisfied the warehouse is finally secured she radios, "Oracle. We have shipment of illegals weapons in the old Adams warehouse on Harbor Street. Five to be picked up. GCPD will need a can opener and a set of jumper cables to detain one of them." The tone of sarcasm matches the wicked grin on her features.
