Cast of Characters: Ted Grant, Blue GhostEyes

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant has found that Blue gets bored easily. This does not permit her to stay still and recuperate. She does try. He hasn't seen her go on a bender yet though so that is good. A deal is struck. Ted will take Blue for rides on his bike whenever the bug hits her. She will rest up and watch movies or slow dance or well there's more than one way to skin a coyote.

After a ride to the outskirts of New York and back he informs her that she should get comfy and he'll get lunch, probably omelets or order in.

He touches foreheads with her, stooping a little. "Go get comfortable. Let your wounds breathe a little. You... promised to listen to me." Mwaaaah. Blue gets a big smooch on the forehead.

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
Blue did sneak out once, when Ted was busy downstairs. She took the train back to NYC and went to Nettie's shop where she met someone completely unexpected, that was an errand for her nephew though and that promise superceded the one to Ted, she also dropped his Vanagon off at a Mechanics and got the surprise of her life. Maybe all her lives. It's driving her crazy that she can't tell Ted about that yet. If he noticed he didn't say anything and she doesn't want to upset him, plus she's been good otherwise. Well, good for her. She hates resting. She's a terrible patient and by her standards the wounds aren't even that bad. Blue would never admit it aloud but they are healing faster without her doing dumb shit that would irriate the sites or break open the stitches or cause her ankle to be worse than sprained.

After a couple of days of Ted's loving ministrations, she's doing much better. Also, she did promise. "I..." Blue huffs. She feels like she should feel as if he were taking advantage of the promise. She doesn't though. She just feels as if he loves her and wants to take care of her and instead of that chafing like it should.. it makes her feel good. Treasured even. Or some other girly thing she isn't used to feeling. "Okay. Food sounds good." Blue puts on the disturbing garment Ted gave her. The only thing it has going for it is that it's mostly a pretty shade of pale blue and its silky soft. He called it a MooMoo or something. If Morgan saw her like this.. she'd never live it down.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant quickly gets some omelets going. He adds mushrooms and some peppers to the eggs, He replaces the carton and smirks at two big steaks marinating in a zip bag. that'll be a nice reward for Blue listening to him. You really can't intimidate Blue. You can bribe her, or appeal to her girly side. And hey there's his lady.

She would never believe it, but he thinks she looks beautiful in the shapeless garment. Even with helmet hair. He gives her a kiss, deliberately getting in the Shoshone's way.

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
While she is hungry and the eggs smell great, when Ted intercepts her the woman just grins saucily. Whatever she's about to suggest is lost when there is a solid knocking on Ted's door. Blue frowns and huffs in frustration. Whoever that is better have a damn good reason for interrupting their breakfast and her.. pre-breakfast.. snack. "What the hell." She growls and walks over the couch and flops down on it while waiting for Ted to get the door. No, she did not arrange the moomoo by hiking it up to show off her legs, or lower the top to display a bit of cleavage. (She totally did but if anyone mentions it she will cut the bitch!)

It's fortunate for Morgan and unfortunate for Blue that when Ted opens the door he's standing off to the side and the boy has a clear shot of Blue. Dark brown eyes light up with mirth and he whips out a cellphone faster than any normal human could, snaps a picture and has it tucked back away before she can even take a breath. "Nooooooo!" Blue groans. Morgan just grins. "Payback is a bitch. That's what you taught me, Auntie." Finally his eyes go to Ted and Morgan shifts the large duffle back hanging from one shoulder and offers his hand. "Hello, Sir. I'm Morgan." He's young, maybe around twenty. Long dark curly hair and big brown eyes. A lean muscular physique and the v neck shirt he's wearing displays the faded white line scar across his neck. A wound that should have cost him his voice if not his life at least.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant slips Morgan the grip. He notes the strength in the hand and the scar. But Blue's reaction takes priority. He looksback for another look as she adjusts the dress, calling to her, "Should I ask what this is payback fer? Naaaah. I'm familiar with your work." He gives Morgan a clap on the shoulder, which turns to a bro hug.

"I want a copy of that picture, get me?" he whispers. He releases the young man and says, "I'm Ted. Some call me Champ. Good to finally meet you. Your auntie, contrary to evidence, is a great girl. I got her done up to let her wounds heal. You did a first rate job doctoring her, and she wrecked most of your work first night. I replaced the stitches on her hip with butterfly bandages. The edges were too messed up. Show him, honey!" Ah an ally!

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
"Sure thing." Morgan says. His grin a bit akin to the cat that ate the canary. He really can't believe the changes in his Aunt since she started seeing Ted. She wouldn't have been caught dead in one of those things before. She's asked him to help her pick out dresses, decorate her eyes with a dark eyeliner, pick out lipgloss and holy hell, that weekend he helped her learn to walk in heels. It's been astounding. Morgan had to meet this man.

The boy is very surprised to detect no scent of magic. Blue had told him Ted wasn't magic but.. well. She says a lot of things and they are not always the truth.

Morgan rolls his eyes. "Yeah that sounds right. She can't sit still for trying. She was supposed to be in bed resting. I left for ten minutes and she was on the freaking train to here." A low growl of exasperation comes from the young man. Blue actually looks a bit chagrined. While it might be a bit weird for Ted, Blue and Morgan are both.. well, modesty isn't a word in their dictionary. She stands and pulls up the gown, ignoring the fact she's wearing nothng beneath it and shows off Ted's handiwork.

Or she tries. When Morgan raises one brow Blue immediately drops the garment having glanced down and realizes that one of those bandages is missing. "Well. You've managed to make her mostly take it easy. I usually have to drug her." Or handcuff himself to her and swallow the key. Lock her in the basement cage. She's an idiot when it comes to admitting any kind of weakness.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant raises an eyebrow then laughs. He loops an arm around Blue and holds her close planting a kiss on her cheek. "She's trying. I'm a bad patient too. She'd have a terrible time keeping me on my back but I took a few days off to keep her company. I can do that. But uh I appreciate your looking after her. Everyone needs that. I got a teeny pole dancer and a overgrown hayseed who watch my back. Did ya meet the boys?" 'The boys' should have told him someone was on their way up and Blue might have words about that later.

All good. He's getting a budoir photo of Blue.

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
"They're nice guys." Morgan says diplomatically. He may have sort of, caused a distraction and then snuck in. Not for nefarious reasons! Just so he had the chance to check things out. His Auntie might be older than any cities here but she can still be fooled on occasion. Morgan needed to be sure of things. Blue snuggles Ted and kisses him and then tugs Morgan inside. She eyes the duffle and takes it to the spare room.

"I know what you were thinking but it rains too much here to sleep on the roof." She says as she returns. Eying the two men in her life, the two most important people to her, the Shoshone woman smiles. "I'm glad you too are gonna get to know each other." She walks over and hugs Morgan and he leans into the contact, closing his eyes and breathing in Blue's scent. Ted might see a faint tremor run through the young man. If he understands Spanish he'll know Blue asks softly what's wrong and Morgan responds his Mother is in jail again. If he doesn't then he'll probably be able to tell she was asking a question and was unhappy with the answer judging by the cursing. "It's okay he stays a few days right?" She turns and asks Ted belatedly with a nervous expression. She is *so* trying to get used to being a "them" instead of just her but there are slip ups at times.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant gives Blue another snuggle. "Of course he can. Clara doesn't need her room for a few days at least. But... gimme that bag." he tries taking the bag from her. He won't fight with her. "Room is through there."

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
Blue reluctantly gave up the bag which got another raised eyebrow from Morgan but he wisely didn't comment on it. The duffel isn't too heavy, it's mostly clothes for himself and Blue, his laptop and tablet, ereader and Switch. A large first aid kit and various charging cables.

The boy takes advantage of the moment to snuggle his Aunt while Ted is busy. He's mostly here to make sure everything about Ted and his people are good for Blue but a small part of him is here to make sure he isn't about to lose his place in her life. She'd never let that happen and he knows it but then, he'd never expected to lose his adoptive parents the way he did either. "It's okay." Blue reassures softly. She leads Morgan to the couch.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant is kind of missing the offer of relations, if he reads Blue correctly. However, family is important. Friends too.

His friends choose the moment to burst, Tony with a nine and Stretch with an aluminum bat.

"There he is!"

"You guys okay?"

"He snuck by us. Keep yore hands war I kin see them stranger!" Ted falls into his chair shaking with laughter, He gestures to Blue to explain. Second great laugh of the day,

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
Blue reacts by swiftly turning Morgan behind her and then whirling around with her hands on her hips. The threatening effect is probably dampened by the MooMoo but.. she glares at the two for a moment and then starts snickering because well, it is funny and she *did* teach Morgan how to do this kind of thing. "That is my nephew Morgan guys. He was just practicing his stealth skills. He's gonna be staying here for a few days."

She hears the clicking of a phone camera again as Morgan takes the chance to get a backside shot of Blue in that getup. She sighs. Nope, never gonna live this down. "He's also testing my patience." She would normally tackle the boy and try to get her hands on that phone but there are three things preventing her, okay, four. The dress, the guys all watching her, the fact that Morgan is actually stronger than she is and she does owe Morgan payback for the last time she messed with him. Being a hacker extraordinaire, Morgan's already all up in these guys phones and the pictures of Blue in the dress are now sent to Ted, and the one from behind which doesn't really show anything is sent to Tony and Stretch. He even included a bonus picture of Blue in the middle of falling out of a tree, holding a kitten with a disgusted look on her face. The thing had been up there for two days and the stench...

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant gets up and tells Morgan, "enough with the pay back. I just got her gentled down. I got a mess of steaks and you guys better behave if ya want them. Bison steaks." He notes the involuntary drool from Blue.

Stretch walks over, nigh onto seven feet tall it seems, and sticks out a hand. "Hiram Skinner III. But y'all best call me Stretch. This'n ma pal Tony Vicelli.

Tony chin nods and extends a hand to Morgan. there is a slight flaring of nostrils, a little widening of the eyes. "fuck the old folks and their steaks kid. Wanna come out and party."

"It's ohn us! Onna counta' us being all up to cave in yore skull and shewt ya fulla holes. They's this great bar name of Stripes! We kin walk it!"

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
Morgan looks Tony over and then glances at Blue. She winks at him. "Sure. A party sounds nice." He'll eagerly go along with the pair and once they are gone Blue seems surprised, but pleased. "It's so hard to get him to go out with people that aren't me. He's had such a rough life. Even a month ago he wouldn't have took them up on that offer. I think seeing me so happy has helped." Which causes Blue to look sad because she hadn't realized her own loneliness was affecting Morgan so much. "We are kinda co-dependant." She admits. "Morgan is also like Tony and I think I might have saw a spark or two there. Or at least the potential for it." Blue grins.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant nods and sits pulls Blue down onto his lap. "Yeah, Morgan is a shifter? Cool. Tony can use more friends. He had a really bad break up back in Brooklyn. Guy was abusive I think. stretch has kept an eye on his little buddy. I get the impression Morgan could kick ass, which is good. Tony won't tell me who it is or I'd a' seen to him. So... bars almost never close by two in Gotham." He looks her over. Dinner was really a few hours away.

Blue GhostEyes has posed:
Blue growls. "Someone hurt that man?" She'd gleefully rip the bastard to shreds. "Morgan is stronger than me and heals like a Were even though he isn't one. I don't really know what he is. His dad rescued him on an Op in Peru. He was a child soldier. His dad died overseas about eight years ago and his mom lost it. She went from mourning to drinking to drugs and I don't think she'll ever dig herself out. In a few more months he's moving in with me."

Blue finally clues on to Ted's look and comment about the bars and she grins. "Oh yeah? What'd ya have in mind hotstuff? She rumbles softly.

Ted Grant has posed:
Ted Grant says, "Poor guy. Yeah, the real monsters are in your mind I always thought. Of course then I fought Wotan and Johnny Sorrow and Zemo. What I was thinking... Just a quiet night in? You game?" He strokes her blue streak.
