Location: Launch and Arrival Platform - Atlantic Starport
Synopsis: After the encounter with the Hegemony station, Monet and Minoke talked about various things, had a bit of self-reflection, and got to know each other.
Cast of Characters: Minoke, Monet St. Croix

Minoke has posed:
Minoke was quiet during the trip back to Earth. Apparently she was just resting, having morphed into a cube and plopped in a corner. She had a rather eventful day - but as she ship landed she reformed and stares down at the blue planet that she ended up landing on, recognizing the landing site as the Atlantic Starport. "Ah... my ship is here. Wonder if I should check on it - it was pretty banged up..." the nanocolony droid muses as the little scoutship landed fully. She glances over, but the only person nearby was Monet St. Croix - the rest of the crew seemed busy with final landing sequences and/or disembarking.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix has been settling in over for the way back. She's been in a sense of general exhaustion. Feeling that every single step has been beyond her ken. For something she has no real investment in. Whatever she had.. Her expression would be flat. Was long since gone. But itw as out of a sense of obligation. She had started with this.. She would finish it. She would not abandon it. "Yes?"

Minoke has posed:
Minoke murmurs, "What exactly happened over there? Everyone looked so...' She searches her mind for the word. "Harrowed. Like... something terrible happened - but...' She sighs softly. "I got so scared... everyone suddenly disappeared. Then all the monitors started flashing. I... I didn't know what to do. I had something to focus on at least but... it seemes that I was the lucky one..." She sighs softly, shaking her head. "Why is it that for everything we seem to know about the universe, it becomes more and more incomprehensible?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would glance at Minoke, "It is a cultural clash. Of seeing what their kind could have been on another world, another place. Seeing a nightmare, but a literal one. To see the possibilities for your own corruption, not as a dream, but as a reality. It is far more traumatizing than one would think."

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods slowl. "I don't fully understand, but..." She trails off. "I have heard of what my... well, kinsman for lack of better words, Brainiac has done. I know that I should never go visit the island of Genosha. I would not be welcome there. I feel shame for... that someone from my home would do such things." Is it something like that? I know that you aren't.... you aren't Kryptonian, right?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod at Minoke, "I am not. I am a mutant." WHich depending if Minoke would cross reference those files or not with Genosha, might mean a lot to her. "It is a difficult simulation for something you have not experienced. How.. Far has your self actualization been going?"

Minoke has posed:
Minoke widens her eyes. "Oh... oh my..." It was foremost in her mind that Genosha was a mutant settlement. She sighs softly. "I am still learning. Though some things are difficult for me. The accident which damaged my ship damaged me too." She sighs softly. "I know that, in some ways, I am immature. I have vast knowledge - but connecting everything together in a fashion that makes sense can be difficult. I wish I could remember my creators. I know from my ship's computer - what little data ther eis - that they were good people - not connected to the evil Brainiac - something about a university - but I would like to know their faces..." She sighs softly. "There is nothing I can really do about Brainiac. I would be terrified to face him - he would know how to disable or... compromise me, most likely. But I might be able to help with this situation." She pulls a crystal out of a slot on one of hte consoles as the two seem to be the last people on the ship. "But I know computers. Earth computers are so hard to work with..." She trails off, not wanting to use the word 'primitive'. After a pause, she states, "I got to see the Hegemony station's data structure. I might be able to create a way to.... give them a hard time..."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would go to fold hr hands together and go over, "Brainiac was an.. Extreme influence. An all controlling, all encompassing one." Even by the standards of Xavier's. Facing off with him and discovering that he had given them a way to stop him in the future? THe past? Because they had already stopped him wtih such a thing and he was providing it to them for his own means? It wa scompletely disorienting to her. The sheer ego of it.. "You would not want to. He is a technopath of virtually reality warping abilities."

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods slowly. "I know. I might be unmade or worse if I crossed paths with him. I'd be equially terrified of the mutant known as Magneto. I heard he can manipulate any metal, even the ones that normally don't work with magnets." She then holds the crystal up again. "But... this Hegemony seems to be a potent threat. I have already started contemplating a computer virus to disable that station." She smiles faintly. "I'm not sure how well they'd be able to defend, but I thought its worth a shot...?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod distantly, "Magneto's powers are also control of electromagnetics and electrogravity. He can manipulate much more than metals." Probably best not to go ahead and elaborate on it a lot more. "I would agree that it is good. To have contingencies available. I do not know how realistic they are. Speak to Alura."

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods slowly. "I mean - I kept them out of the ship's systems and were able to counterattack..." She trails off. "If you do not mind me asking - what are your 'mutant powers'?" She hesitates. "if that is a sensintive or personal question, please forgive me."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would let out asigh, "It is not. I can fly, I have limited super strength and invulnerability, and limited telepathy and enhanced senses." Which was about everything.. At least, until one compared her to Kryptonians. Or Martian Manhunter.

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods. "Well... that sounds cool. If you think of what I can do as powers, I can shape metal - consume it if I need to to repair myself, and channel electricity. Also can rearrange my form into generally what I want - and I am decently strong as well.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod, "Tht makes sense given your abilities. I would be interested in seeing the rate and ways you can reprocess and alter the metallurgy of them. I presume that you alter the properties and types of it when you consume it?"

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods. "Well... I am currently made of titanium - it seems to be the best metal for general use in terms of weight versus strength. There is an Earth saying: 'You are what you eat'. It is literal wtih me. Most of the body I came with was damaged during transport - I had scrap iron to work with and I was a lot heavier and awkward."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod thoughtfully, "And for your interior components then?" she would query. "If you have to shift things for finer particles when it comes to things like your constructs and adaptoids?"

Minoke has posed:
Minoke murmurs, "I only have one. My heart-core. Everthing eise - is my body, metal nanites." She smiles faintly. "Not _quite_ sure what you mean by adaptoids, but my core _is_ me. The nanites are simply a way for me to interace with the world. And so far, 'dividing' my body doesn't really work. The direct connection to the core is needed."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod at Minoke, "And do you have to.. FOrgive me for inappropriate terminology, but do you have to reconstitute ones you take in to let them be things that your nanites can use to rebuild your internals? Or are they things which you cannot replicate?"

Minoke has posed:
Minoke smiles softly. "My core is the only part of me that is irreplacable. Everything else is just nanites, and they don't have any particular designation. Soon as I shapeshift, they are redistributed." She smiles faintly. "For example, I decided to rest as a cube to process everything that has happened. I don't need to have the same nanites in the same place. They are interchangable."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod at Minoke, "I understand. That makes sense. Things are done for efficiency's sake." SHe would ponder while folding her hands together. "There is no need to waste.. Energy on things which are unnecessary."

Minoke has posed:
Minoke nods slowly. "These aren't even really eyes. It's just a shape for convenience's sake." She smiles. "It was a pleasure speaking wtih you, bu I should check on my ship. Not sure if any progress was made on the repairs, but since I'm here... let Alura know I'm working on a computer virus for the Hegemony, would you?" she asks.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would sigh, "I will. Ensure her you query her about review and access to compatible data systems so you can run simulations. Good.. Recharge."
