Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Hank Pym

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
It's not been much of a secret that James Barnes and others went on a mission and there were things brought back to the mansion. Those things being six humanoids that seemed to be half bat and half human.

They currently are all calmed down though. The lights where they are are dimmed so they don't get agitated. And Morrigan is sitting at one of the terminals that analyzes blood with her glasses off and looking through the scope at things. She's dressed in jeans, black t-shirt and boots. Her wounds have healed thankfully.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym has made the decision to return to the Avengers' Mansion. A real step in reclaiming his long languishing humanity. After the disaster at HHHS's game night the polymath sought refuge in the glassware and cool instruments of science. No one could deny he was a top rated scientist. There would be no humans here to complicate matters or distract him. Well, Bruce might be here but he doubted it...

Aw crap. He spots Dr. MacIntyre, definitely not his number one fan at the microscope/terminal. He stands frozen on the threshold and considers simply stepping back out the door silently. Or shrinking and escaping. Or...

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's fully aware that she is in Avenger territory and any of them can wander through. She knows most of them as it is. When the door opens though she looks up to see who it is.

"Are you coming in?" she asks him. "I can also move if you need to use things." she points out to him.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym says softly, "I was considering it. If I am not disturbing you. And any terminal duplicates the functions of the one you have." Besides, his spot is over there. He goes to said spot, sits down and brings up the browser history. He makes a strangled little sputter and immediately clears said history. Someone... used the system for unscientific purposes.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a nod of her head to that, "Sure, not my place. I'm a guest. Just told Cap and James that I wouldn't take up much space while I was here and I'd just stick to taking care of the guests." she states.

The sputter makes her quirk an eyebrow, "You okay over there?" she asks him.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym mutters. "Someone was using a terminal controlling an electron microscope to research... anatomy. Cleared. Have you made any progress with your guests and the apparatus that transformed them? I'd guess a retrovirus, although telekinetic DNA manipulation or exposure to radiated, blood or airborne bat genetic material might work..."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan 'ahs' at that, "Guess people are the same everywhere you go." she chuckles to that. Then she sits back on the stool she'd commandeered to sit on and listens to him, "Still working on it really." she admits. "It wasn't a machine or radiated anything. It was done by something called the Maker. I don't know what that is, but I am pretty sure we'll locate them." she states.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym hmmms. This may be a Deviant offshoot living in Subterranea. Perhaps a method of reproduction or a sophisticated weapon. Recruit your enemies into your forces. This could be dire. The problem with transformation engines is that once they complete their programming they generally self destruct."

Hank cautiously ventures, "I read your research on solar allergies. It was brilliant. It took me a while to get through it. Hematology is not in my wheelhouse. Did... that pendant I gave you... with the UV energy screen work for you?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan is listening to Hank and there is a bit of a moment taken to pull up her notes so far, "These were just ordinary men before this, no mutations or metahuman genes from what I could find. Miners from a small town. One is a friend of James Barnes." she states.

"They've been altered at the genetic level and they are continuing to mutate. I've not found any way to reverse this and if we don't find one soon we are probably going to lose them. And I do not want to tell James that." she states to Hank.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym swivels around to face Morrigan. The question about that force field was what he considered small talk. He ponders Morrigan's statement. "I do not care to tell anyone they lost a loved one. I've been there. We need to find the mechanism of mutation. Were they isolated when they were affected or were they with other miners?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan was a little wrap up in the bat man stuff. "The shield worked until it got destroyed when I died." she tells him. Then she is moving on with stuff. "And when you've been allergic to the sun all of your life it helps with finding medicines to help with it." she muses to that.

"As for these miners, they were missing for a while. We don't really know how many there are." she frowns at that. "Just need to find the rest of them and make sure no more go missing." she adds.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym gets up and nods. "I need to speak to Barnes. Thank you for the information. I will speak to you when I am able to contribute something. Good hunting Dr. MacIntyre." He heads for the door.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a nod to Hank when he goes to leave, "He's probably somewhere around or talking to folks about the Starport situation. Take care of yourself, Doctor Pym." she tells the man before she gets back to work.
