Sam Guthrie comes walking into the house after having been out at the school earlier and having a bit of chat with Bobby. He did stop by the store and pick up some things so has his hands full with a few bags as he uses his foot to close the door behind him.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
It's been a rather eventful week for the younger Guthrie. Considering she had to hole up in med bay for a little after the neural implant was found, she's doing some self-care in the guest room. The sounds of some Youtuber talking about the best ways for applying different face creams can be heard.

Paige is seated at the vanity, applying some moisturizer on her cheeks. Her hair is still damp, having just gotten out of the shower, and she's dressed in a simple ESU t-shirt and a denim skirt.

Sam Guthrie looks over to the room and will head into the kitchen putting a few things up before saying loud enough to make sure he is heard over the youtuber "Hmmms, looks like Ah might not have enough room in the freezer, for this Ice Cream, what ever will Ah do."

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Having just applied some green tea extract on her face, she turns, her face covered in a pale green lotion. She looks absolutely ridiculous as it gives her that Elphaba look from Wicked.

"What flavor?" Paige asks with a quirk of her brow.

Sam Guthrie looks over and says "Well Ah got butter pecan, and this one what was it again Oh yea, Cookie and cream... now how did that get in my basket." He smirks a bit as if he did not get her favorite intentionally.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
There's a gasp, and after she puts away the moisturizer, she wipes her hand on some towels and then makes grabbyhand motions in his way. "Because I'm your favoritest sister, that's why." Paige quips with a flash of her pearly whites.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie 's brow raises and says "My favorite Green sister?" He jokes but does hand her the ice cream and a spoon. "How ya feeling? Not getting angry and Ah should worry or something right?"

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"I still have some holes in my memory, but the Professor, Magneto, and Quentin fixed me up. There was a little wriggly techno worm thing in my brainmeats." Paige says with a bit of a frown. "But that's why I'm taking a break from all things Xavier." she admits ruefully.

Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit and says "Well not to add to ya worries, but so you know, some folks think you have joined up with the brotherhood." He tells her, as he gets her and himself a drink, before motioning to the couch if she wants to head into the living room to sit.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Squintyface. Biting on her bottom lip, she follows along waiting until she's seated on the couch. Glancing around furtively, she runs her fingers through her hair and nods slowly. "That's not exactly a lie. I'm going with Magneto." a beat. "Just to check things out. He's doing more for mutantkind than the X-Men are right now."

Sam Guthrie frowns a bit as he hears this and says "Ah do have some respect for Magneto, but Paige, you gotta watch out for that, I know they just call themselves the Brotherhood, now, but with the history of that name, and being leg by Magneto, are they really going to be doing good, or are they going to be scaring people more.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"Versus what? The X-Men who are just hiding away putting their heads in the sand?" Paige asks with a bit of a frown. "I know the professor is wanting to make things public, but certain parties are well... really really resistant." a beat. "Bitchily resistant."

Sam Guthrie looks to her, and frowns a bit and says they are trying to help folks, but that does lead to another thing Ah need to talk to you about. ... Ah am thinking about going open on the force as a mutant myself."

"..." Paige just stares at Sam for a few moments at the thought of 'coming out' to the police force. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" She hrmms for a few moments, leaning on the back of the couch for a bit. "On one hand, I'm totes supportive. On the other, I'm worried for y'all."

Sam Guthrie says, "Well, thats part of what Ah am thinking about. My captain knows, and thinking Ah am going to talk to her, and maybe Berto a bit first. Bobby suggest Ah talk to both the Prof and Jean, figured Ah would get two different sides from them. Ah think might do the guys in Bushwick good to know a mutant can be on the force. Ah thought about calling ma, but know what she will say "Do what Ah think is best, and that most of the folks back home already know the family has mutants in it, so should not effect them much. The thing is it might be, with folks wanting to look into my background and such. So it sorta does effect, her, you, jay the whole family.""

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"I can almost guarantee that if you publically come out as a mutant, Jean will want you to dissociate from Xavier's." Paige says rather matter of factly. "But if the Professor -is- making the X-Men public, maybe you can coordinate the timing there? Either way, it'd be a big deal for mutant rights, so you'll have my support no matter what you do."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Honestly Ah am sorta surprised Alexis's dad did not out me, but then he would have had to admit his own daughter was a mutant, and not been kidnapped by mutants like he tried to say had happened."

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"Self preservation often is stronger than hate." she says with a wry grin curling onto her lips. "But just count your blessings for now. I do think it'd be good to have a cop that is a mutant covering Mutanttown."

Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, Ah am going to talk a bit before Ah do it for sure, but it is something Ah am talking about. So, what are you planning now?"

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"I had a tour of Asteroid M. They have rooms, but I don't think I want a room there, at least not yet." Paige says with a shrug of her shoulders. "But other than that... oh yeah, Im' doing a charity calendar. The Hunks and Babes of Mutantdom." And she pauses waiting to gauge his reaction to the news.

Sam Guthrie 's brow raises a bit at her talking about a calendar "Am Ah going to have to steal calendars, from Berto and Doug keep them from oogeling you?" He asks her, thinking she means she is going to be in one not making it. They got a pretty nice view up there. Spent some time there, when Rahne was hurt a while back."

"I'm not in the calendar! Though now that you mention it..." and she glances from side to side before letting out a laugh. "So far, I have Piotr, Bobby, and Warren confirmed. You want in? I'm just the photographer." she explains.

Sam Guthrie 's brow raises a bit higher, and says "Your wanting me in your hunk calendar, what you got in mind?" He half expects her to be putting him into something to mess with him.

"It depends on what month you want. I mean, I'm putting those three in speedos with strategically placed items." Paige says, waggling her brows before laughing heartily. "It'll be like the ESPN Body Issue, showing off the mutant bod. So for you? YOu can be Mr. December and be wrapped up in a parka."

Sam Guthrie smirks a bit and says "Would it not make a bit more sense to get Bobby to be December? I mean you could get him in the same type of pose in snow and no real effect on him.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"I was joking. Bobby is definitely December." she says with a sage nod. "Warren will be February. Haven't decided on Alex and Piotr yet... So you want a month? You can pose with puppies or something."

Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and says "Well, Ah need to decide if Ah am going to do the whole letting folks know Ah am a mutant or not first. Pretty much anyone in that calendar, will be known to be a mutant after it.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"Masks." she says rather matter of factly. "Besides, do you think anyone will really focus on the face?" she asks.

Sam Guthrie hmms and says "Let me think about it, if Ah am going to do it, Ah think Ah would rather do it without the mask, think it would make more sense and mean more, putting more than just my chest out there."

Paige snerks at the bit of a pun. "Well, think on it. But make sure your cop friends know too, so they can support the calendar sales. I'm sure it'll be a hit at the precinct."

Sam Guthrie nods a bit and says "Ah am sure it will sell some. Captain tries to make sure we have only folks good with mutants around considering where our station is and all. So, how are you feeling now, feel like your recovering well?

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Nom nom. Paige has been taking bites of her ice cream every now and then. "Yeah. The Professor and Magneto both give me their support, so if anything should come up, I should go to them right away, you know? Makes me feel a lot better about it."

Sam Guthrie nods his head a bit to this and says "Well you know ya need me you just need to hollar, and Ah will come bursting through the wall all koolaid man style." He jokes with her as he eats some of his own ice cream.
