Profile
Paige is the eldest daughter of the Guthrie clan, a mutant, and recently graduated from Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Now her goals are to join the X-Men and become the superhero she always wanted to be.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 2002: Born and raised in Cumberland County, Kentucky, first sister to Sam Guthrie
* 2003-2011: The rest of her eight siblings are born.
* 2016: Paige's father, Thomas Guthrie, succumbs to black lung which had been plaguing him for years.
* 2017: Inspired by her brother's admission to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Paige starts to test herself to see if she has mutant powers herself.
* 2018: Paige discovers her mutant powers at last, and is enrolled into Xavier's school.
* 2020: Paige graduates from Xavier's school with full honors.

Personality
Country Manners:
Paige is polite, always using her ma'ams and sirs. She'll always refer to her teachers by their last name, and would feel uncomfortable doing otherwise even at the teacher's insistence.
Devoted To Family:
Paige will drop everything to help out her family. With such a large one, and being the eldest sister, she tended to help her mother take care of her younger siblings.
Earnest:
Paige cares deeply for her family and friends and tends to wear these feelings on her shoulder.
Overachiever:
Paige feels like she has to make up for her rural upbringing by putting 110% into everything that she does. She yearns to prove to herself that she's more than just a country gal.
Studious:
Paige works hard when hitting the books. She's always studying something, regardless of whether or not it's been assigned to her from class.

Powers
Husking:
Paige has the ability to shed her skin to reveal a new state underneath. Generally, she has to be familiar with the substance she's husking into in order to be able to do it. While husked, depending on the material she'd husked into she has increased physical abilities to match. She's able to husk several times in a row, though the more she does it the harder it becomes. When she husks, she's able to heal minor wounds, and shed of dirt and grime. She can only hold any single form for about an hour before having to husk back to regular skin.
Skills
Computer Science:
Paige has shown a knack for working with computers, and is able to program and hack them with relative ease.
Farming:
You don't grow up on a farm without having to help out every now and then. Sure she wasn't put to the fields very often, but she knows the day to day workings of a farm.
Home Ec:
Taking care of eight younger siblings means being able to cook for a large family, sew, and other tasks.
Renaissance Girl:
Due to her habit of studying just about everything under the sun and then some, she's picked up a little knowledge about everything. Nothing too deep, but enough to pass AP High School level classes.
Resources
Family:
Paige has an extended family. While they may not be rich, by any stretch of the imagination, they will come and help out as best they can should she need it.
X-Equipment:
Being part of Xavier's school, she has access to the facilities thereof. She also is given a small allowance to spend on personal items. Especially clothes.
Weaknesses
Family:
Just as being part of an extended family is a strength, it is also a weakness. Villains can use the threat of violence against them to coerce Paige into doing things that she would not normally do.
Husking Side Effects:
Should Paige be forced to husk, or should she husk without thinking, the form underneath is a patchwork of things, and is very painful to be in. Additionally, when she husks, she usually ends up shedding her clothes as well as her skin.
Reckless:
Paige tends to act first, and think later, throwing herself into danger without really thinking about the consequences all that much.
Something To Prove:
Paige feels like she has to prove to the world that she's more than just a country hick. She gets upset when people treat her that way, and can easily be goaded into doing something reckless and dangerous to prove herself.
