Monet St. Croix has posed:
It's a quiet afternoon. New York is in the middle of a heatwave, which has made many stay indoors where there is air conditioning. For Monet, whom grew up in Northern Africa, this is relatively mild weather other than the humidity. So, she's taking some time over at Harry's, slowly working over on a drink. Having not been in the mood to stay at the Mansion.

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon comes into the place , she's not dressed like normal . She isn't here to advertize.. in a sense dressed as she is another kind of disguise one of beautiful asian woman out on the town.

     Her violet eyes look around the room before she makes her way to the bar, her movement like water almost flowing with grace as she taps the top of the bar for service.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would be sitting over and then turn to glance over at Kwannon as she would enter, "Ms. Braddock, hello. What brings you here?" SHe would query over to the woman she assumed was Betsy. "I didn't think you would come to this estaslishment." Betsy does own her own nightclub after all. "Were you just dropping in to the Mansion then?" She would query lightly.

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Knows of her sisters bar and has been prowling around pretending to be betsey and well she did say braddock and that is also her name.. " I was looking for a change of pace and research for my bar " her voice seems colder than you remember.. more all buisness and less social

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would glance at Kwannon, "Very well. I would prsume however that a nightclub's drinking is rather different htan a bar's. Or are you looking to setup another business?"

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Thinks for a moment and nods " Yes but bars also tend to have more new drinks than people think " She sits down and crosses her legs as she looks to monet " What brings you here? " She asks

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would shrug, "This location seems to appeal more to the traditionalists. But whom am I to contradict a potential business owner in the matter?" IT was Betsy's money and investment after all. "Mere to relax away from the screeching children."

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Chuckles and nods a bit as she thinks and gets her drink sampling it as if trying to see how it measurse up , as for the screaming kids she's jelous of besty but she won't say that. Just nod and and lift her drink to your comment

Monet St. Croix has posed:
And Monet notices that ever, ever so minor change in posture. A shift of Kwannon's body and posture. "You seem to almost be jealous of them. I didn't take you for the type to enjoy -teenagers-."

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Gives a almost soft smile " It would " She stops " Its nice to teach them to pass things on in a nicer way than I learned " she says simply " How we learned.. all stick and no gentleness at all "

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would look over at Kwannon, "The way -we- learned? We both had incredibly easy lives. You're nobility that owns a private island. I'm the daughter of the incredibly rich."

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon She knows she remembers she has all those memories as well " True but we both also know how the world treats those they think as less or lower level than them.. even the rich can be snubbed and treated as less "

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would shrug, "We have it better than almost all of the children here did. We lack the ability or the right, as you put it, to make things harder for them when we had it so much easier. We never had to live on the streets, abandoned by our families, be cast out."

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Sighs " True " She says softly as she orders a diffrent drink almost thinking about things.. mostly cursing herself for channeling kwons memories more than bestys

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would turn to 'Betsy', "YOu seem rather pensive. Particularly for when so sober. So what exactly has you so agitated to the point that you're empathizing with children?"

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Sighs " Ran into the hand again bad memories " its true but for a diffrent reason than M might take it for either way it might work as an excuse... even betsey has a rather spotty record with the hand

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would frown slightly, "What were they after?" The Hand never just performs social calls. "Were they targeting you? Were you merely caught up in whatever slaughter they were attempting?"

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon Shrugs " I don't know .. I dealt with them.. but one of them said some things brought up bad memories " She shrugs " been trying to get it out of my mind "

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod for a moment, "Interesting. I take it that you cannot take the route that Logan does when it comes to coming to emotional terms with things?"

Kwannon has posed:
Kwannon looks over " You mean the drinking.. the telling everybody to fuck off or going out to kill a bunch of bad guys that didn't deserve that lethal of an attack?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would shrug, "They seem to go hand in hand with him." Monet says in a flawless deadpan voice that might get a blink of surprise or a glare. Does she have an actual sense of humor not based on belittling others?
