Synopsis: Selene and Elektra discuss their plans, and paper maps.
Cast of Characters: Selene Corvinus, Elektra Natchios

Selene Corvinus has posed:
The poolside activity had wound up just a few minutes ago. The duo had returned to the interior of Elektra's penthouse, where they were enjoying drinks. The sun had set, and the penthouse was dimly illuminated. Selene had told Elektra she had something to show her about their next move, and as such she returned from the bedroom. Still in her swimsuit, but with a baggy black shirt on over it, a men's dress shirt no less, the Vampire strides over to where Elektra is, and spreads out an actual paper map of the city... she's old school, what can you do? Not everything has to be on a damn screen.

With a glass of wine in one hand, Selene's bare feet step around to stand beside Elektra, leaning against her, as she points to a spot on the map. "here, near the subway entrance in Midtown." She points at the intersection of streets on the map. "I've tracked them coming and going from here. This section leads down in to the subways where we would funnel less than legal materials to an underground lab beneath the Semira building." She elaborates, as she lets her eyes roam up to Elektra beside her. "I believe this is where they are sending the supplies, that will then be distributed out to Kraven, wherever he is hiding. It's possible we can get his location from this lab, and from there... well. Once we have him, we can convince Amelia to stand against the other Covens." She paused, her voice low. "Possibly, anyway..."

Amelia had told Selene that she wanted to support her, but this was would be the 'death' of their coven as a whole, if they went against Kraven, where Selene wanted to build anew. Selene wanted to seperate from Viktor, from the Hungarian vampires, if not outright kill Viktor for what he'd done to her all this time.

"We plan to hit it soon," Selene softly spoke, as her glass of wine was sipped from again. "Amelia believes if we do this, it will draw Viktor here to the US, and create an all new war. A civil war, which would be ... oddly appropriate for the United States, right?" She smirked, after saying that.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
Elektra hadn't yet bothered to get dressed again, still in the same bikini that doesn't leave much to the imagination where it comes to her curves. A glass of wine is being held in one hand as she waits for Selene to come back out. Red wine of course because what else could it be? Lips twist up in a smile when that *paper* map is brought out. Endearing really.

"Where did you find one of those?" She asks of the paper map before her eyes are drawn to the subway entrance mentioned. Lipspress to a line at the plan, "This is a lot of ifs." she admits, "Are you really sure Amelia will have your back once we capture Kraven?" she questions, eyes turning up from the map to look at Selene now.

"A Vampire civil war here may bring a lot of attention to your struggle. We will have to be ready for it." she says, "Will the lycans help?" she sets the glass of wine on the table.

Selene Corvinus has posed:
When Elektra calls her out for having a paper map, one that is even updated to 2024 no less. "We still produce these. They have tactical advantages over things that require batteries." She jests in that calm way of hers, expressing herself with that little ghostly grin too.

When Elektra asks the more serious questions, Selene draws in a breath, her button up shirt unbuttoned, so she's not exactly hiding her pale skinned form beneath it, but her eyes are on that of the map again, as she sits down on the edge of the sofa, and has to mull the questions over in her mind. "Raze is still assigned to Gotham City. Apparently he likes it there. Imagine that..." She stated, showing a smirk toward Elektra. "I believe he will help, when push comes to shove, because he just wants to kill Vampires. I'm rather certain he still wants to kill me too, but he sees value in my tentative alliance with Lucien."

When she lifts her wine glass to her lips for another sip, she pauses, and regards Elektra beside her. "Amelia believes in the New World Coven. She loves this country. She doesn't want to retract back to Europe. This... all of this... was her baby from the very beginning. New York, and Montreal... those are where she wants to live, seemingly forever. I think she'll back us on this, because Viktor will want to fall back, and regroup in Hungary. Plus, she's wanted out from beneath his thumb for literal centuries. Now is her chance to do that. A New World Coven, that becomes the main focus of our plans. Be done with the war with the Lycans. All of that was Viktor's problem, and fault, to begin with."

She gently shakes her head from side to side, and reaches a hand up to brush it across Elektra's smooth black hair, exposing her left ear, and displaying affection fro the other woman, and what they've grown to mean to one another in the past three and a half years.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Good. Means you didn't go into my stash." Wait, Elektra has such relics with her too? Paper doesn't leave a digital trail. Arms fold together and her gaze is drawn to Selene's throat when she takes that breath. She still has to get used to have Selene actually breathing and being actually alive. Or at least able to be up during the day.

"I liked it there too. We should go visit Batgirl again sometime." She suggests, "She was a surprisingly good partner. And a very reliable ally." among other things, but it's not what Elektra will go into now, moving to join the other woman by the sofa.

"So you are aiming to work on Amelia's ambition and at the same time bring peace with the lycans. Bold." she grins at this, "I like the plan."

The woman lets out a soft mmm of appreciation at the caress alongside her hair to reveal her ear, making her tilt her head to the side towards Selene, her own hand moving to her shoulder, "I am still in a daze." she murmurs, soft, very unlike the usually stoic Elektra, "That you are now back. Here." a breath catches in her throat.

Selene Corvinus has posed:
It was true, that since Selene returned, she seemed to have recovered a fair amount of her Humanity too. How that happened is anyone's guess, as the Vampire curse was meant to be eternal, but then again... there were many different types of Vampires. She further expressed her care for Elektra, by brushing that hair behind her ear, and leaning in to lean her head against the other woman's own. She smiled toward her.

"We will figure it out. But, I am sure it will come with a great many challenges."

She drew in a breath again, and raised her head up once more. "We haven't talked about your situation much, since I returned." She notes, glancing around the penthouse, then back to the other woman beside her. "Have things remained quiet with your people, since we last were forced to act upon them? Have you just been sitting here watching cooking shows on the television?" She teases, as she glanced toward where Elektra's living room television was mounted to the wall. "Honestly, that is what we are ultimately after. The ability to just sit back in a pair of yoga pants, and watch a little tv for once."

Even Selene, dark and gloomy, can try to be funny, even if she delivers it in a way that is smooth as ice, and yet still somehow sultry warm too.

When she regards Elektra again, she shows another small grin. "I cannot just keep bursting in to your life, and expecting you to become my personal assassin, afterall, can I?" She questioned.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"Challenges." That word makes Elektra laugh out and she shakes her head, "Everything worth in life comes with those." even if, granted, most of the times they didn't involve secular wars between vampire covens and lycans. But none of them lives normal lives.

"We will figure out a way." her hand coming up from her shoulder to her neck when Selene leans in against her, thumb brushing over the skin slowly.

"Well, I did get an apprentice." She tells Selene, "Rough around the edges but there's some potential. Lots of anger though. A bit like I was when younger, but unfocused." Because Elektra had very healthy ways of focusing her anger through assassinations for the Hand. Much better!

"The Hand has backed off some but been working on something with Daredevil too. Some new group in the city. Way too well financed to just be some new group coming in."

The talk about watching cooking shows has her laugh out again but she does ask, "Are you actually able to eat now?"

Is Elektra saying she will cook?

Selene Corvinus has posed:
"An apprentice?" Selene asks, even lofting a dark eyebrow up, as an amused expression touches her features. "Oh, I am going to have to witness some of this training some time..." She idly adds, that grin returning to her visage. She reaches for her wine glass, and raises it up, stopping it just before her chin.

"Food is fine for me now, but I do still prefer blood. It still has the most benefit for my physiology. But, it does not disagree with me, as much as it did before.. I..."

She sighs softly, and sips the wine, before setting the glass down again. "I did not expect these changes, when I fed from Alexander. A lot of what I am going through with the changes is explorative. In the first few days, I thought I wwas 'cured' of the Vampirism all together. It was a strange feeling, to feel the sun on my face again. Michael and Eve were there for it. I think they were both quite happy for me, but... that whole situation is its own bag of madness."

Selene leans back against the sofa's embrace, her right leg raising up to rest her toes against the edge of the table in front of the sofa. She placed her hands upon her lap, and looked toward Elektra, watching her.

"I'm happy to be back here, with you." She adds, her facial expression back to a calm state, as though she were appraising the woman beside her.

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"It's a very work in progress. And when I think I have done some progress she regresses to past behavior so ..." There's a touch of frustration on her voice but she shakes it off by taking another drink from her wine.

"Maybe it's not the end of your changes." She admits as it was clear Selene was treading new grounds now, "Would you like it to be fully over?" she asks, "Free of the curse?" her dark eyes on Selene no, watching her. She brings them closer, placing a kiss down Selene's jaw, "I am happy you are here too." she leaning back again with a teasing look on her expression, "Maybe I can treat you to a meal then. Put all those food shows to use."

Fingertips brush some hair from Selene's face, "A little calm before the storm." before they start a civil war that may upend everything.

Selene Corvinus has posed:
Selene welcomed the other woman getting close to her, getting personal with her. Elektra represented such a few in the centuries of Selene's existence, that she has allowed 'in' to her personal space, in to her mind. With Elektra touching her lighter toned hair, Selene showed her a small smile before she looked across the room again. It took her a moment to consider the question of if she'd wished to be rid of the Vampirism, and with a slight exhale, she shook her head. "I shouldn't even be here. Alive, or, whatever you would wish to refer to it as. I've done so much... ill, in the name of a cause I believed in for so long, and along the way, I have done terrible things. Viktor took my family, he took my life. But at the same time, I embraced it all, even if I may not have known the truths. I still picked up arms, and put so many innocent lives on the line to fight this conflict for so long. Being 'rid' of the Vampiric element of me? Then I may as well be gone entirely. I had 19 years as a young woman, a Human woman. I've had 600 and some odd years of being a servant of the shadow." She says, playing up a bit of the Tolkien-esque side of her way of speaking, which only makes sense due to the very topic she is speaking on.

She exhales a little laugh, smirking at herself, and glancing down at her body before her, adjusting the shirt a bit over her stomach. "I'm not going to ask where this men's shirt came from in your closet. I've been gone a long time, I should hope you would have had moved on."

She cast a playful little expression toward Elektra. "And you making me dinner would be one of the highlights of my past many years, and the first 'real meal' I would voluntarily indulge in that I can even recall."

Elektra Natchios has posed:
"I have done terrible things too." Elektra says back to Selene, her tone having gained serious contours, "And I can't even say I had a blood curse calling me to do these acts. I chose to be what I was." no matter the influence the Hand had in her life, "I can't even remember how many were killed. But I am not that person anymore. And neither are you."

She brings her fingertips to twine on Selene's, looking at the other woman's pale hand, "And you deserve a chance like the rest of us. There's more to the two of us than just being killers."

A faint smirk then comes to her expression at the mention of the shirt, "Probably Daredevil's. Though I could go through my list of conquests if that's what you want to spend your evening talking about." those dark eyes twinkling in amusement.

"Dinner it is." She leaning in further, the kiss at her jaw moving up to brush upon the other woman's lips, "There will always be a space in my life for you, Selene."

Selene Corvinus has posed:
The two had had similar conversations in the past, but such was the life of two women who had a lot of blood in their life's wake. "Ah, our shadows run long, and the demons that lurk in them claw close to heel." Selene stated, feeling Elektra up against her, and kissing up to her lips. When she is about to reach them, Selene, turns to instigate the kiss. She pushes up and in to Elektra, returning it with a bit of gusto, and even draws in a deeper breath through her nose, a gesture unlike how the Vampire woman was before.

When she parts the kiss, her hands are on Elektra's arms, and a grin is on Selene's lips.

"Maybe dinner afterward." Selene says in a voice barely above a whisper. "I have something else on my mind at the moment." She added, as her hands rose up the others form.

"And, you can keep your conquests to yourself. At least for now..." She said, before she leaned in to re-engage the kiss, pressing her lips back to the other's own, while moving a hand up to the side of Elektra's face.
