Synopsis: | Checking in on Vivian Vision after the fight in Gemworld Amy Winston gets to meet Molly Hayes. And make sure the injured synthezoid isn't influenced by any lingering dark magic! |
Cast of Characters: | Vivian Vision, Molly Hayes, Amy Winston
|
- Vivian Vision has posed:
For the first time in her unusual life Vivian Vision is taking a sick day. Several sick days in fact. Typically her unique set of skills and abilities make her nearly impossible to really hurt and her unique construction mean she just doesn't get sick. But magic? Well it's anything but typical. And it doesn't matter how advanced your technology is it's hard to guard against things you're just not configured for!
Still she's been dealing with her responsibilities remotely. Audio calls. Emails. Remotely adjusting GIRL schedules. There's a lot of things she can get done from home. Probably, given her synthetic nature, she could still be out and about but.. Well being bed bound after an injury is part of the Human experience. So.. hey she should probably try it at least once?
Currently she's tucked up in bed, sketchpad resting on her lap, idly working on refining a recent drawing. Low stress, low activity, and most importantly something she can do with just the one eye. The other currently being covered by a gauze bandage.
- Molly Hayes has posed:
Molly isn't really sure how to nurse Vivian. Vivian is a synthezoid, after all, with many unique traits and biology that isn't even biology. It's synthology! Not robot, never say robot, Molly had learned that. Calling Viv a robot was like calling a human a hamster - cute, but inaccurate and taking as an insult if you did it wrong.
Molly is wearing a nursing cap that she ordered online, perched atop her head, her auburn hair in pigtails. Otherwise, she's wearing a pair of overalls and a t-shirt that says "I'M A HUGGER" in big letters. "I wish I could make you chicken soup. That's what you're supposed to do when someone is sick, make them chicken soup, but you don't really need chicken soup and it's a wound anyway, not like the flu. I had the flu a lot when I was little. I was kind of sickly. Do you think it's because I was going to get all mutant super strong and my body was like 'here feel weak for a while so you're a sympathetic person and not an oh my god megalomaniac hen you become the strongest girl there is'? I guess it doesn't really work that way, your body doesn't have intentions like that, but it feels like ironic and stuff or is that irony? I can never tell what's ironic or just weird. And the song doesn't help!"
She plops onto the bed next to Vivian and leans her head against her roomie's shoulder, peeking, "Whatcha drawin'?"
- Amy Winston has posed:
Amy stood outside Vivian's apartment, a bit nervous but resolute. It wasn't that she'd forgotten Vivian's absence from their usual circles-no, she'd noticed, but life had a way of sweeping her up into its currents. Still, she felt a growing tug in her heart, a reminder of their time on Nilaa and the injuries Vivian had sustained there. They hadn't exactly spoken about it since returning to Earth, and that worried her.
Dressed in a cozy gamer T-shirt-featuring pixelated warriors battling across the front, black leggings, and worn-in tennis shoes, Amy shifted on her feet, resisting the temptation to teleport straight inside. She had learned the hard way two years ago that the casual crossing of royal boundaries didn't fly here on Earth. Princesses, it turned out, couldn't just go where they pleased, no matter how urgent the need. This world had rules, and Amy had promised herself she'd respect them.
With a bright grin, she raised her hand and knocked on the door, the sound light but assertive. Then, unable to help herself, she called out in a chipper voice, "Magical House Call!"
- Vivian Vision has posed:
"It's amusing but it turns out when I focus large portions on my attention on repair work," Vivian explains with a giggle. "It causes an ambient increase in body temperature. A bit like when someone gets the flu. As for your abilities... I don't really know. I would imagine genetics don't have /intent/ in the way you're describing it. But mutant powers are also... more complicated than conventional science can currently explain."
Thanks to the wonders of smart technology Molly & Viv's place has all sorts of amenities to make life easier. If a device can be wirelessly operated it is. Including the doorbell. "SPARKY be a dear and get the door!" she calls out. "Oh this? I was drawing something I saw recently. A gryphon. The feathers need a lot of fine detail work." She might not have one in front of her to draw, but with perfect recall even a brief glimpse is more than enough to work with.
SPARKY, canine synthezoid extraordinaire, barks once to indicate he understands the order (not that he needs verbal instructions). Before leaping up to pull the handle down with his teeth. Letting Amy in. Once she's inside he'll even push the door shut again. Before returning to a pet bed to resume his important good boy canine duties.
"Oh hey Amy!" she calls out through the open door to her room. "I didn't know you'd be stopping by? Is something the matter?"
- Molly Hayes has posed:
"Awwwwwwwwww, I was gonna get the door! It shows that I am your devoted caretaker!" she says, adjusting the old fashioned nurse's cap on her head with the big red cross on it.
"Amy? I don't know any Amy!" So she does pop up out of bed and run halfway to the door, stopping along the way to pat SPARKY on his synthezoid canine head, "Good boy!"
"Hi, I'm Molly! I'm Vivian's bestie, roommate, current nurse and overall friend. I don't know who you are, but you said magic and magic is cool! I have a friend named Nico, she could do magic really well, but she had a magic staff that helped her, even though the real magic was inside her. But the staff helped. A lot. Like, a LOT a lot!"
Once Amy is properly directed towards Vivian's sickbed, Molly resumes her place flopped down beside Vivian in it. "Viv, your magical friend Amy is here. I don't know her, but she's pretty, she smells nice and she came to see you in your time of need, which is a good marker of her character. I like her already!"
- Amy Winston has posed:
Amy blinked in surprise as the door swung open, thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of SPARKY. "Oh! You have a pup like you!" she offers cheerfully. The synthezoid canine had a flair for welcoming guests, and Amy couldn't help but grin as he pushed the door shut behind her. "Good boy, SPARKY!" she said warmly, giving him a quick scratch behind the ears before stepping further inside. As she entered, a curious energy tickled her senses, faint but present, like an aftershock from their harrowing retreat on Nilaa. Dark Opal's lingering essence? Maybe. Her tracking ability was keen, and she'd followed the remnants right to this spot. There was something here she couldn't ignore.
Amy blinked, taken aback by Molly's energy and rapid-fire introductions. She offered a warm smile, already charmed, before offering a small curtsey. "Nice to meet you, Molly! I'm Amy, and magic is definitely part of my skill set too."
"Viv, your magical friend is here! She smells nice and everything. Good vibes."
"Thanks? I love your hat." Amy said, amused, but her attention quickly shifted to the reason she had come. Vivian still lay in her bed, looking a bit pale, though the familiar sparkle in her eyes reassured Amy she wasn't too bad off.
"Hey, Viv, I was actually tracking any lingering energies from our strategic withdrawal - because retreat sucks ass - from Dark Opal, and I sensed something here," Amy explained as she approached. "Wanted to make sure everything's healing properly and there was no trackers or the like."
"Dark Opal has been trying to locate me. He got close recently, I was with Mary Bromfield and we were testing a game I was working on and he tried to infect it with magic. I can't help but to think his agents are already here." she admits grimly. "But! I'm here now, let give you a looksie and I'll be on my way." She waves a land, a little lavender magic dancing over her hand.
- Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian can't help but laugh at Molly and her antics. They've been room-mates since high school but Princess Powerful never fails to find new and inventive ways to be unique! SPARKY, a synthetic Scottish Terrier, settles in his pet bed. Tail wagging. As a top floor apartment the view is pretty great and the furnishings are all state of the art. A lot nicer than you'd expect from a college student. Although perhaps a little less fancy than you'd expect for an Interim research director?
"Oh we've got guests so I really should get up," she asides to Molly. Moving to put the sketchbook to one side. Still open. Pencil keeping the pages from closing. "The remote systems still do not produce acceptable loose leaf tea."
The synthezoid makes a move to shift the blankets off her legs. She's dressed in a green t-shirt, now more a crop top, that judging from the slightly uneven cuts was probably the t-shirt she wore during the Gemworld adventure. Plus yellow shorts. And of course the gauze bandages. One around her head, covering her right eye, and a larger one around her stomach. Her pink-ish skin has several new grooves. Mostly shallow. Like someone tried carve record groves into her.
"Hey," she says awkwardly. "I did not wish anyone to be alarmed by what I believe should be a temporary inconvenience. I simply have an abdominal wound and there's a scrape across my optical sensor. It's not even a full five percent efficiency loss...."
Presumably this is a good thing. Although it hardly sounds it.
"Molly is often around GIRL. Usually when she needs more fuel for her jetpack.. Or jetpack repairs for that matter. Someday we'll upgrade it to be durable enough for an Indestructible pilot!" Her eyebrow quirks upward. "You know Mary? We sometimes play virtual card games together. Well. Scheduling permitting."
- Molly Hayes has posed:
"I don't know who Dark Opal is, but I'm sorry they're evil. Evil things shouldn't get to have cool names. They should all be like Butt Cheese or THE GRABBER. Leave the cool names for cool people," she says.
She sits up when Vivian shifts, "Hey, don't get up, you need to stay in bed and get your healing rest. No superheroing or sciencing until you're all better, lady! I know you don't want me to be alarmed, but I was extremely alarmed, sirens going everywhere, when I found out you'd gotten hurt. This is why I should go on missions with you, to punch out anybody who tries to hurt you. Or anybody else."
She looks at Amy, "I'm also sometimes a test subject! I'm, like, indestructible so you can do stuff to me and it's okay because I just shrug it off. Princess Powerful to the rescue!"
- Amy Winston has posed:
Amy approaches Vivian, her expression softening as she takes in the sight of her injured friend. The familiar sight of the synthetic canine, SPARKY, resting nearby with his tail wagging, brings a sense of normalcy to the otherwise concerning situation. The high-tech apartment with its impressive view and state-of-the-art furnishings feels a little surreal given the state Vivian is in, wrapped in bandages and sporting what should be alarming wounds, but speaking as if it were merely a minor inconvenience.
"Lady Vivian, don't even think about getting up," Amy says, moving swiftly to her side. She rests her hand gently on Vivian's shoulder, guiding her back down before she can fully sit up. "You're not fooling me with that 'temporary inconvenience' line. You need to rest. And let me at least remove the magic from the wounds so you can heal better."
She can't help but notice the uneven cuts on the green shirt-likely from their time on Nilaa, now repurposed into a crop top. The larger gauze bandage around Vivian's stomach catches her eye, and Amy's focus sharpens. Dark Opal's attacks had left their mark on all of them, but seeing the grooves carved into Vivian's pinkish skin makes Amy's chest tighten. Shallow, thankfully, but still too close for comfort.
"Let me take care of this," Amy says softly, concentrating as she channels her cleansing magic through her hands. Warm, lavender light gathers at her fingertips as she hovers them over the larger abdominal wound. She breathes deeply, focusing her energy as it weaves through Vivian's synthetic body, knitting damaged components and repairing what her magic can touch. "There we go... You'll still need to heal, but for now, no superheroing, no sciencing, and no tea experiments until Molly says so." She flashes a soft grin and a wink, trying to keep things light, but her eyes betray the seriousness of her concern.
Vivian's quirked eyebrow and comment about Molly and GIRL earn a quiet chuckle from Amy, though she shakes her head with a smile. "I know Mary," she says, still focused on the healing process. "Virtual card games, huh? Maybe I'll have to join you sometime when things aren't... you know, completely chaotic."
The comment about Dark Opal brings a deeper frown to her face. "Yeah, he's evil all right," Amy mutters. "And you're right, evil things shouldn't get cool names like Dark Opal. Butt Cheese sounds about right," she adds with a faint smile.
She continues working, tracing her hand carefully over the scrape across Vivian's optical sensor, sending a pulse of restorative energy into the damaged area. "You deserve better than being stuck with injuries from that jerk."
With her magic steadily flowing, Amy takes a moment to check for any lingering energy from their encounter with Dark Opal, ensuring that no remnants remain to disrupt Vivian's recovery. The room is filled with a gentle glow as she finishes up, including a scent that exudes a sophisticated combination of sweet honeysuckle mingled with the darker pleasures of refined tobacco, and is grounded by a touch of spicy cedarwood. A much warmer autumn seduction.
"Princess Powerful, huh?" Amy says, looking up at the eager Molly with a grin. "You're pretty indestructible, but let's make sure we don't need to test that out too often, okay? For now, I need you to handle a quest for me after I'm gone, your highness." she says with playful fondness as she pulls out a ruby from her bag. "This is a healing gem." she explains to Molly. "If Vivian expresses discomfort or has not shown mark improvement by the morning, break this over her and contact me. Vivian has my number."
As the last of the healing energy settles into place, Amy lets out a small sigh of relief. "There, that should help speed things up," she says, standing back up. "Now seriously, Viv - rest. That's an order, from one princess to another." A grin to Molly.
- Vivian Vision has posed:
Vivian, begrudgingly (AI are like doctors in making terrible patients), settles back into her seated position. Propped up on the pillows. "Will it make it easier to use your magic if I remove the bandages? They serve no practical function." If nothing else she supposes a visual inspection will help gauge how effective the magic is. So even if it's not necessary for Amy's work she reveals the damage. A jagged line vertically down the lens of her eye, which makes her look faintly like a pirate, and a line across her stomach. It's deep enough to have broken the skin but there's no hint of blood or mess. Her scratched eye /does/ seem a little dimmer than the other before the magic begins.
She pouts a little.
"If you knew Molly you'd know she gets into superhero stuff more than she changes her hat," she jokes. It really can't be that bad if she's joking. Clearly organics never use humour to mask concern! "But I will limit myself to low strain activities. Promise. I do hope people will still feel free to speak to me virtually. I wouldn't want to get bored cooped up like this for an extended period."
The synthezoid sighs. "I don't think I agree on that point," she admits. "I retreated from Dark Opal sounds a lot better than 'I retreated from Butt Cheese'." The restorative magic does seem to have an immediate effect. Her colouration brighter and the glow from her eye a little more intense. "And I can assure you. I am perfectly content with the outcome of the mission. We /won/. Even if we didn't stop him physically. You were able to rescue your companion right from under his nose. It'll be good for morale with the resistance forces!"
Does Gemworld have resistance forces? Maybe! She didn't think to check. If it doesn't hopefully some people are inspired to think about rebelling against Dark Opal...
She glances at Molly and nods. "Amy is saved in the contact list under the GIRL directory folder."
- Molly Hayes has posed:
Molly takes the gift from Amy, staring at it wide-eyed and holding it iup in front of her face with both hands, "Healing gem,' she says in a breathy, wonderous voice. "Viv, we have a healing gem! THAT'S SO COOL!" she says, holding it up over her head for a moment like baby Simba.
"You heard Doctor Pretty Magic Girl, Viv, you gotta rest! Relax! Heal yourself up! So we can get back to science and superheroing and adventuring and stuff!"
"And I would totally retreat from Butt Cheese! Butt Cheese is the stinkiest kind of cheese."
All of this energy doesn't entirely cover the fact that Molly was genuinely a little worried underneath all that encouragement and good cheer. She'd kind of thought of Viv as being as indestructible as her - the thought of losing her BFF is pretty distressing for a girl with no family ties and whose other friends are mostly scattered around in and out of touch. Viv is kind of like her anchor. Ships without anchors crash.
Maybe Viv was more like a lighthouse. All shiny and showing the way to go. Whatever! Metaphors can be hard!
- Amy Winston has posed:
"I brought you both something from Nilaa," Amy says, holding the box out to them. "Rock candy gems-they look like crystals but they're totally edible. A little sweet, a little magical. I figured you could use a pick-me-up while you're recovering. Plus, they're from my world, so... a little taste of something different."
She grins as she offers the box to Vivian and Molly, the vibrant candies reflecting the light in the room. "Try them! They might not heal you like magic, but they'll definitely give you a little sugar boost. And who doesn't love candy when they're resting up, right?"
- Amy Winston has posed:
Amy watches as Vivian reluctantly settles back, her expression softening at the sight of the AI's jagged wounds. Despite the stoic demeanor, there's always that underlying sense of vulnerability that comes with healing, and Amy can see it-AI or not. She smiles softly as Vivian removes the bandages, revealing the damage in full. The vertical line across her eye, faintly reminiscent of a pirate, and the cut across her stomach look more severe now. Even with no blood or mess, the sight stirs a pang of concern in Amy.
"Thanks for letting me take a closer look," Amy says gently, reaching out to hover her hands above the injured areas. The soft glow of her healing magic grows brighter, shimmering as it begins to work on the damaged tissues and synthetic parts. She keeps her focus, the warm light checking over what had been broken. "Bandages or no bandages, this magic will do the trick. And I think you just want to show off." A wink.
At Vivian's joke about Molly and her hats, Amy chuckles softly, though her concentration remains on the healing process. "Molly sounds like a force of nature," she says with a grin. "But I'm holding you to that promise-low strain only. I'll make sure people stay in touch, too. No way you're getting bored while you heal."
As the magic works its way through Vivian's systems, Amy can already see the improvement-the dullness in her eye is brightening, her skin looking more vibrant. It's a relief to see. She listens as Vivian reflects on their mission, a small, appreciative smile tugging at her lips. "You're right," Amy says, the light from her magic still pulsing between them. "We did win. Maybe not the final victory, but we got who we came for. And that'll make Dark Op-" She stops herself and laughs softly, shaking her head. "Okay, yeah, Butt Cheese doesn't have the same ring to it, but I'll take whatever small wins we can get."
Amy lets out a breath as the last of the healing energy fades, watching as Vivian's color and glow return to their full intensity. The mission had been hard, but seeing Vivian recovering here in this quiet moment gives her hope. "Nilaa's got a lot of resistance in it," Amy says softly. "Even if it's not organized, yet. There are plenty of people who want to see Dark Opal fall, and maybe this will give them the courage to start that fight. Most are just really tired after the first war."
She glances over at Molly and can't help but smile at her enthusiasm. "Yep, healing gem," Amy says, amused as Molly holds it aloft like a prized treasure. "Viv's got a great support system, that's for sure."
Then, with a softer tone, she adds, "And yeah, Viv, you are a lighthouse. Whether you're cooped up here or out there on the front lines. You'll always be a guiding light for the people around you." Amy's voice carries a hint of admiration, her words gentle but filled with warmth.
She looks at Vivian one last time before standing back. "Now, rest up. No more science or superheroing until you're back to full strength. That's an official order from Doctor Pretty Magic Girl," she says with a warming blush in her cheeks at the flirtation. "And trust me, we'll handle Butt Cheese if he dares show his face again. One more thing."
As Amy finishes her healing work, she reaches into her bag and pulls out a small, ornate box adorned with intricate carvings. With a smile, she opens it to reveal brightly colored rock candy gems, glimmering like real jewels, though their sugary sheen gives them away.
- Vivian Vision has posed:
"It was an important lesson for me," Vivian assures. "The magic rich solar energy made me overconfident. Once I have recovered I am going to be far more pro-active learning how to engage in physical combat." The colouration on her face deepening. This time more of a blush than a response to the magic. "Thank you for taking the time to come check up on me. Your concern is appreciated."
Her gaze shifts around the room. It's neat and tidy by most standards. But the costume collection closet door is open, shock horror, and some of those pencils on the side? Not fully sharpened.
"Showing off?" She coughs. "I promise I do not typically spend my time around the house like this. Had I been expecting company I would have prepared refreshments..."
"She has battled a kaiju," she solemnly notes in regard to Molly. "If any tracking magic leads someone to our apartment. Oh I feel very sorry for them."
The gem gets a little frown. Like she's trying to focus her sensors on it without it being obvious. "War is always hardest on the civilian population," she admits sadly. "And as for support systems everyone at GIRL supports each other. If you need help we'll be there to back you up as well. It's a promise." A beats pause. "Although you do seem to have a lot of powerful friends too! The ruler of Genosha seemed very fond of you. Did you know she's secretly a skater?"
The sheets get pulled over her legs. Like an acceptance of her position as 'patient'. She reaches back for the sketchbook and pencil.
"Doctor Pretty Magic Girl indeed," she teases. "If you ever book a lab at GIRL that'll be the name we put on the door." She taps the pencil against the book. "Just drawing and relaxation it is."
The candy and box get another 'stealthy' scan. Fascinating. You can practically read the words 'I should take one to the lab' on her face.
"I don't generally consume solid foods," she admits. "But I can try one and share the rest with Molly and any other guests!"
- Molly Hayes has posed:
Molly Hayes lights up at the prospect of magical candy, "I feel very selfish cause I'll end up eating most of this myself, but also, like, I'm going to get to eat most of this myself which is super awesome. My terrible parents always told me I would get fat if I ate too much candy but joke's on them, my body's all weird and super and doesn't do that and anyway even if I did, I would be the most awesome superstrong little fat babe and I would rock it out!"
She manages to restrict herself to eating only one, rather than giving in to her impulse to toss down a handful of candies all at once.
"I did fight a kaiju! I punched him in the leg! The rest of the Yong Avengers did more than I did, though. Sometimes I wish I had heat vision like Supergirl, but then I remember that I like punching th ings more and I wouldn't want to, like, laser somebody to death cause I didn't know how to use my heat beams. I wonder if they ever did that, when their powers came up? Like just OH YOU MADE ME MAD OH NO I LIT YOU ON FIRE WITH MY EYEBALLS. That would be traumatizing."
"Sooooooooooooooooooooo, we have healing and candy covered, whatcha wanna do now? We haven't had a visitor in ages, we should have, like, an activity."
- Amy Winston has posed:
Amy listens intently, a warm smile playing on her lips as Vivian speaks. When she hears the part about learning physical combat, she gives a nod of approval. "Combat training sounds like a solid plan, Viv. You're already brilliant in every other way, so adding some fighting skills to your toolkit? Part of my training as an exiled Princess was combat training, court etiquette, equestrian training, archery... a lot of royal combat things. With that type of skills? You'll be unstoppable."
Her gaze shifts toward the open closet and the slightly disorganized pencils, but she doesn't comment, sensing Vivian's slight embarrassment. Instead, Amy chuckles softly. "Showing off? Please, I've seen far more chaotic living spaces. Trust me, this is way more put together than half of the places I've lived on Earth."
When Vivian talks about her battle with a kaiju and offers support, Amy's expression softens. "War really does hit the innocent the hardest, you're right. But I'm glad to know I've got GIRL in my corner. It's good to have that kind of support. And yes, I've met some powerful people, but it's the friends who really stand by you when it counts that matter most. I'd say you and Molly qualify."
Her eyes widen at the comment about Lorna. "Wait-Lorna's a skater? That's... incredible. I mean, I knew she had style, but skating? I never would've guessed." She chuckles at the thought, picturing the regal ruler of Genosha on a skateboard. "I like her too." she admits.
At the tease of being called 'Doctor Pretty Magic Girl,' Amy grins. "I'll take that title. But I demand glitter and stars on the nameplate. It's a magical lab after all, right?"
As she watches Vivian eyeing the candy with scientific curiosity, Amy chuckles. "You're totally thinking about analyzing these, aren't you?" she teases gently. "Go for it. I'd love to see what your scanners pick up from Nilaa magic."
When Molly chimes in with her excited commentary, Amy laughs. "Hey, you should eat the candy. And rock whatever body you want. You're strong, you're awesome, and honestly? If I were in your shoes, I'd totally enjoy every bite."
"I'd love to stay, but I need to check on a few others as well. I do not want Opal gaining a foothold in this world. My portals are the only way he can, and I plan to continue to deny him access to this world. But if there is ever a plan for a GIRL event, I'll be there." she promises as she puts away her magic gear. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Molly." she says with a warm smile, "And I'm glad Vivian is in good hands."
- Vivian Vision has posed:
"You are both very impressive individuals too," Vivian says emphatically, nodding at Amy & Molly in turn. "If you want Molly I can ask Carol if she'd give you some pointers? Or maybe Ms Walters would be better suited to teaching you..." Then again as a Young Avenger she could probably just learn to punch /really/ good from Ms America. So many options. So little time (to punch).
"Unstoppable seems a touch optimistic against magical foes. But certainly I intend to do everything possible to prepare for a possible rematch. I'm even idly running simulations on my density change to eliminate any latency." She holds her hands up as if to ward off protest. "It's not work I promise. Like light reading for an AI."
Her blush deepens a little. Hand shifting ever so slightly across her midriff. And then she nods. "Usually guests hang out in the living area with the big TV." Yes showing off the messy apartment.
"I didn't really converse with her at the time," she admits. "Someone tried assassinate her with cyborgs. It was quite astonishing. One wave of her hand and the entire gang ran away." Okay there may have been some metal removed from a cyborgs body too. Just a tiny bit. "Right through some portals and gone."
She blinks a few times.
"I am pretty sure the nameplates at GIRL are already covered in glitter and sparkles," she muses. "But I will make the arrangements. As for the candy. Well I'm sure a sample will keep until I have recovered. I made a promise after all."
SPARKY springs to his feet and trots over to jump up at the door handle. Like a canine butler.
"Event or not you're always welcome to visit," she assures. "Perhaps I can draw you sometime? When you're less busy with your Magic Girl duties."
There's a faintly alarmed look at the idea of Molly eating /lots/ of magic candy. Is the building able to withstand Princess Powerful on a magic sugar binge? Who knows!
Hopefully the answer is yes because all their stuff is here...
- Molly Hayes has posed:
Molly Hayes is mostly eating candy, to be fair, so she's not paying the closest attention. But she does look up as Amy mentions having other things to do, "Awwwwwwwwwwww, I'm sorry you have to go! But you can always visit anytime you want! Viv doesn't sleep, so that's kind of literal around here."
"Maybe I'll see you around GIRL sometime, too. Now that I'm back from my walkabout, I want to try to contribute and help out where I can. I hate being idle, I get bored so easily. That's why Viv's such a good roomie, she always keeps me occupied."
She will hop up and, if allowed, will give Amy a big hug, "Thanks so much for coming to check on Viv! That shows real caring as a friend and not just the kind of BS fake friendship SOME superhero allies may offer. You're a real one, Doctor Magic Pretty Girl!"
- Amy Winston has posed:
Amy grins as Vivian compliments both her and Molly, feeling the warmth of genuine camaraderie. "Hey, I'll take unstoppable as a goal! Besides, magic or not, you've got this. Your density change tricks are brilliant, and I can't wait to see what you come up with for a rematch. You're always two steps ahead."
As Vivian talks about the attempt on Lorna's life, Amy winces slightly. "That sounds intense, but yeah, Lorna doesn't mess around. Portals, metal control-she's a force to be reckoned with. Definitely not someone to underestimate."
At the mention of glittery nameplates, Amy chuckles. "Of course GIRL's nameplates are already covered in sparkles. I should've known! I'd expect nothing less."
Watching SPARKY act like a butler brings a smile to her face. "Thanks, Viv. You can totally draw me sometime! I'd love to hang out when things are quieter. And hey, I promise I'll always make time to check in on my friends."
Then she turns to Molly, who's mid-candy munching, and laughs. "I'm glad you like the candy! And don't worry, I'll definitely visit again. You're both awesome, and it's always fun hanging out. Maybe we'll get some more adventures going."
When Molly springs up for a hug, Amy doesn't hesitate to return it and ups it with a warm kiss to either of the girl's cheeks. "Aww, thanks, Molly! You're such a sweetheart. I'll hold you to that-next time we're at GIRL, we'll team up for something cool. And hey, you keep being your awesome self. You too, Viv. Take it easy and let that magic do its work."
She gives them both a bright, warm smile, feeling the bond of genuine friendship. "Doctor Magic Pretty Girl out!" she adds with a playful wink before heading toward the door, already looking forward to her next visit.
