Cast of Characters: Jacen Knight, April O'Neil

Jacen Knight has posed:
Stepping into the club, Jacen flashes and ID and makes his way towards the bar. A cowboy in a place like this will definately stand out. The fanny pack with a medical badge only makes it worse.

He gets directed towards the end of the bar to a young lady that seems to be in some sort of distress. He draws near and the pair have a short conversation. She looks skepticala at first, but finally nods when her companion nudges her.

April O'Neil has posed:
It's a night at the club for April and friends. She's not among the group that Jacen approaches at first, she's with her girls dancing to the beat out on the floor. She's wearing yellow -- of course -- and a club outfit, the likes of which are eye-catching to say the least. Matching bright yellow mini skirt and low cut top. Fishnets. And a pair of stilletos that are -- at best -- dangerous when she's moving on the floor. She doesn't notice the other woman in distress, and instead keeps dancing. At least until she has to get a drink. Dancing's hard work! She heads off to go to the bar to grab something to get her some fluids.

Jacen Knight has posed:
Jacen is locked in on the woman he is talking to. He shines a light in her eyes and asks a few questions. She answers. Looking at her drink he takes it in hand to study it for a moment. A grim nod and he sends out a call.

After few minutes first responders come in. He gives them a short report and then they take her out to a waiting ambulance. Jacen eyes the boyfriend for a moment, but lets it go. Maybe th guy did it, maybe not.

He shakes his head as th man leaves as well. A sigh and he puts the light away. Maybe he should go too, but instead he steps to the bar to order a beer. It is then, only then, that he notices the lady in yellow. He raises a brow inspite of himself taking a moment to take her in, but then looks back to the bartender. No staring at the lady in yellow. No staring at the lady in yellow.

April O'Neil has posed:
April O'Neil leans over against the bar. She is getting plenty of looks and it seems she's enjoying the attention. She grins a little bit and makes an order, before her gaze glides over the various patrons in the club. One of her friends comes over, and they lean their heads together to talk. The friend looks at Jacen a few times, and it seems he is the topic of conversation between the two, at least a little bit. They are pointing at various people in the club.

Jacen Knight has posed:
The beer arrives and he takes a long draw. Apparently he either drinks on the job or he's off the clock. Dressed in cowboy gear instead of hospital garb says he is probably the former instead of the latter.

His attention catches on the ladies again, but only briefly. He raises his glass, tipping his hat with his free hand and then goes back to his beer.

April O'Neil has posed:
After a few more minutes of discussion -- and the arrival of drinks -- the two women break up. One heading for the dancefloor and the other walking to Jacen. April approaches Jacen and says simply, "My friend wants you to go talk to her. She thinks this whole...outfit...is cute. Weird, but cute." It seems that April doesn't much agree with the sentiment that the outfit is cute. Probably more weird for a club like this. But...then again...she looks like a shiny banana so who's she to talk?

Jacen Knight has posed:
Taking another drink, Jacen misses the duo break up. He glances up as she in all yellow approaches. He considers her words for a moment, then looking down at himself. Looking back at her he replies,"I 'spect it does look like'n outfit'n th's city. Prolly shoulda jus' headed out b'fore somebody d'cides it ain' cute."

He looks to the dance floor and the woman heading out there. He considers and comments,"I c'n do a lotta things, bu' dancin' ta this stuff. Be tricky." Still he looks like he might get up and try at least.

April O'Neil has posed:
"Suit yourself really. She just got dumped and is looking for something fun. So.....here's your chance, cowboy." April says, apparently playing wingwoman for her friend. She then flounces off back towards the dancefloor.

Jacen Knight has posed:
Well. That couldn't be any more clear. He takes down the last of his beer and steps off the barstool. Moving through the crowd easy enough he locates her friend and introduces himself. Not a good dancer, but he does his best he can. He continues to dance with the woman so long as she wants and trades numbers before parting.
