Walk through the Park

Synopsis:	Emma spends time with Divine in the park.

Emma Frost has posed:
After Divine had finished with her job for the day, Emma Frost is walking along with Divine, Emma having made a point of wearing subtler clothing than usual, just looking like another passerby without having to use her telepathy. Something else requires her focus. She's carrying along with her a small bag that has a lunch she's brought for the two to share.

Divine has posed:
Divine tips her face at the sun as they walk, enjoying the late summer warmth lingering in the air. "It's great that you were able to take some time out today," she says honestly while they weave around other visitors. "What did you bring us for lunch?" Her stomach rumbles a little at the thought and she laughs apologetically. "Sorry, sorry. I was helping with the turtles today and the lifting worked up an appetite."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would smile, "That's fine, darling. I'm glad that you're enjoying all your time with them." Better turtles in the zoo than those mythological ones over in the sewers. "And I stopped by that Italian place you enjoy, I thought it would be nice to sit and talk together. I did have a proposal for you."

Divine has posed:
"Oh? Well, let's find a good place to sit so we can enjoy it and talk. But yeah, it's really nice. I think I want to go to school for it. Not as an actual vet, but maybe an assistant or something?" Divine smiles at Emma, reaching out to squeeze her shoulders as they continue walking. "It's not terribly hard work, and it feels like I'm doing good in the world."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would smile, "Always a place to learn. And I'm sure that you can learn very quickly." Emma could absorb information by simply going to a library and keeping scanning everyone. Divine could probably read things at super-speed and do even better. "It makes you happy and you're doing something you love. That's all it needs to be. You need no other justification."

Divine has posed:
"That's true. I'll need to do a program of some sort, but Dr. Kaya says if I want to become a tech she'll help me find a local one that will let me get some credit for the work I'm already doing so maybe I can finish faster. I'm glad I took the chance on trying it," Divine muses as they take a seat. "Thanks for encouraging me to try and making sure I knew I could stop if it turned out I hated it."

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would nod gently, "That sounds excellent dear. A good long term plan for you. You can figure it out as you go along. And you have time to try a few different things." Kryptonians probably would live for centuries, after all.
