Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
They were always probably a little creepy. But they were still students that lived at the Mansion and had been at it for a few years. So when they announced they wished to socialize and interact with the others in their own rather creepy way (in fairness it was around Halloween) they had been allowed to. They had setup for a gropu with tea, various snacks spread out, and a variety of chairs spread around.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie has come by the mansion to check on some things, and happens to walk in on the set up. He raises a brow a bit but nods over to the girls in greetings "Hey, ya'll how are you?

Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
All oft his has been likely done at the behest of Mindee, the one of the Five that most desperately seeks to be normal. The back and forth that lead to the Tea Party had been a class assignment of 'The Secret Garden' which she had latched onto. So for this event, the Five had permitted her to be the 'speaker' to avoid their normal creepiness in overlapping voices.
    "Thank you,w e're doing well!" Mindee would pipe up happily as her four sisters would let out quiet sighs.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie will nod, and says "So, whats up tonight?" He will ask her, to let her explain what is going on. He will look at the tea, and smirks a bit "Got any iced sweet tea around?" He asks her

Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
Mindee would nod cheerfully, "Yes, let me get some!" Celeste would head over, moving to grab some ice out of the freezer and bring it to put in some of teh tea. Apparently they'd not quite gone the full route and it was just some from the store. Willingness to indulge their sister only went so far after all.
    Esme likewise went to pour herself some, but then started going to pile on sugar.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smirks a bit and says "Thanks." He looks at the tea they have made, and makes a mental note to show them how to make a proper sweet tea sometime. He takes it taking a sip and forces a smile "So, what are you planning this evening?"

Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
Sophie would go, "Mindee wants us to be -normal- and meet others." While Esme would chime, "And this sort of thing isn't normal." Mindee looking immediately distressed before the other two sisters of her's would rally to her defens ein rapid back and forth telepathy and she would calm down.
    "I'm jus twanting us to talk."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods and says "Well something like this is a bit more normal in specific circles, if your wanting to get to know people and make friends, your liable to have more luck with a game night in the recroom, with pizzas and soda and such." He offers he has a seat and says "Some folks might feel a bit intimidated by a more formal setting.

Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
Mindee would smile, "Thank you! But sometimes doing something unuusal can be a bit more fun." The girls still had that sort of upper-class style to them whatever their origin was. Or at least the pretense of it. But Mindee was the one that enjoyed Jane Austen, so this was what she wanted to do.
    "And ti's just tea, not a tea ceremony." That was probably more Betsy's thing.

Sam Guthrie nods, a bit and says "Well just an Idea, Ah am a lot more used to a mason jar of tea on a hot summers night sitting on the porch. "So what have you girls been up to?" He looks to each in turn."

The group switches it up again as Celeste is now rotated around to speak. The wya the sisters often switched up mid conversation could sometimes be disorienting. "We've been starting classes. We want to go to DC sometime soon. Maybe see if the Headmaster can get tickets to the inaguration next year."

Sam Guthrie hmmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "Well, Ah don't know they might be able to get a field trip, closet, Ah would be to doing something like that is being security if they do anything here in new york, through the force.

Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
Celeste would nod, "Yes, but if anyone could get tickets to it, the Professor could. Unless he's going by himself to something more formal." If Xavier was going to get tickets to the first few rows of the next inaguration, it was probably nto goin to be a 'student moment'

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "True, never know for sure, might want to talk to Warren, he might get an invite as well, from the high finance side of things." Sam knows Berto gets invites to those type of things now and again.

Stepford Cuckoos has posed:
All depending on however many millions had been donated to the campaign of the winner of said election. "That's a good idea, thank you!" Sophie would look very happy at that. "The chance to see so many important and powerful people together i one place will be great." And not at those 'eww, fundraiser' things.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods a bit and while it aint Sam's thing he does try to help out where he can.
