The GIRLS Marmalade
Date of Scene:	03 April 2025
Location:	Moulin Rogue the Musical's theater in New York City.
Synopsis:	Some of GRIL have a great time going to the theater and dressing up.

Koriand'r has posed:
The crowds are all around, and people are milling about as the show is about to start. She's heard about this show and seen the fashion and costumes they have, it immediately intrigued her. So much so she made an invitation to several of the smart women and men of GIRL to come out and join her. She even offered to buy clothes as well as tickets. Because she wants to make a spectacle of it. She's tall, orange and not shy. So why not wear a corset, fishnets, ruffle skirt, and tiny hat with her hair all done up, eyes lined in makeup and glitter.

The same offer for clothes and makeup help are offered as well. She makes sure to get them as much space as can be so any 'oddness' won't bother others seeing the show. She had a car pick them all up and take them to a place to get dressed together and the same car can go off to take them to the theater when they are ready. "Is everybody excited? I know I am!"

Bailey Jennings has posed:
    Bailey's doing her best. She hasn't really been OUT since her condition manifested...said condition today being a giant snake tail that's replaced her body from the waist down. She's dressed up her top half appropriately; corset, necklaces, bracelets, and a lot of good makeup. She looks over. "Excited. Nervous. Somewhere in the venn diagram of those two."

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
M'gann accepted the invitation. The ticket, anyway. Clothes are, well, she cheats. A lot. Which is to say, M'gann barely actually wears clothes, much less anything fancy. Because she's a shapeshifter, and clothes are part of it. Is it weird? Maybe.

She does it anyway.

With the little bit of lead time she has, she uses it to do a little research. What, exactly is this show about. That made her blush just a little, figuring THAT out. The the themed outfit.

M'gann shows up, in her guise as Megan Morse, dressed appropriately. Which is to say in a red satin corset that she almost seems dangerously close to falling out of, a black ruffle skirt that's scandalously short in the front and falls to below her knees in the back, fishnets, ankle boots with a slightly higher than sensible heel, and, yes, the tiny hat at a jaunty angle.

"I am intrigued," she says with a small smile. "I've never been to the theatre, I don't think."

Koriand'r has posed:
"Sounds like a fun place to me, Bailey. I think your tail is appropriate. Your scales are like the netting we are wearing only natural!" Kori is very excited and doing little fly-hops from place to place as they all get ready and set to go. "I got us the best seats I could some open ones around us as well that I bought." As should surprise nobody, Koriand'r's own outfit is purple as the main color. She moves to give both girls a warm tight hug.

"Nor have I Megan, at least not overly much and not a show like this. I just know the music is popular, the outfits are beautiful and that it is a good story. I can't wait to see it. If you want food or drinks, I'll happily cover that. I want us to not be fettered as much as possible." She will, once everyone is ready start to go to the car and open the back seat for the limo to let the women in. "May as well take as much space as you want, Bailey." It won't be a long car ride from 'gathering and dress up area' to the theater itself. "I hear they use French in this as well."

Bailey Jennings has posed:
    "I've been to the theater before I changed. It can be a lot of fun." She smiles as she gets into the car, coiling her tail up as much as possible against the far wall. "Yeah, but you don't really need to understand it to have fun.

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
Megan, when she ducks to get into the limo, cheats. She phases through the car, slipping to the far side and taking up very little space. Did she shrink? It's hard to tell in the dimly lit car.

"I am intrigued by these Earth customs and entertainment. It's still fascinating to me. Though I guess I still haven't been here as long as my uncle," she says. It's 'Uncle', but J'onn is kind of like everybody's surly, but kind, uncle, right?

She idly wonders if the concessions will have Choccos. Even though she probably shouldn't have them!

Koriand'r has posed:
    There is plenty of room for Bialey's tail and for the other two women with their skirts and outfits. Kori's heels are rather high, but she can always cheat and semi-fly to deal with the height. "From what I gather, dressing up is not normally a thing. Well dressing like this isn't. Looking nice supposedly is but I never understand human customs with all the types of nice or whatever." She shrugs and keeps smiling. Unable to resist she reaches out to touch the tail of Bailey. "If it gets too cold, put your tail in my lap. I can try to warm it up if need be." There will definitely be sweets, though maybe not churros. "I plan to have as much fun as possible and don't care who stares or is bothered by that."

Bailey Jennings has posed:
    "No, it's theater. And thank you for the offer, Koriand'r." Bailey replies. "Theater is usually something you dress up super nice for. But this is a special kind in that you're trying to dress up in the theme of the show." She smiles at the touch on her tail; she's cold-blooded like this, so a solar-powered princess is a nice help for that. "I hope it's not an issue. The staring." She looks over. "At least I'm in good company. You two will probably get all the attention."

M'gann M'orzz has posed:
"If it will help you feel better," M'gann says. "I can return to my natural pigmentation. Draw some more attention away from you."

She does it, too. Just a blink, and her skin is green. Nothing else changes. She stays like that for now.

"I have no need to be secretive, I suppose."

Koriand'r has posed:
"It shouldn't be an issue. I made sure to ask first before showing up. I am certain we'll get noticed. That's the point." Koriand'r loves attention. She likes being looked at and showing off who she is. She spreads her hands along the tail atop her lap and lets herself warm up with a faint bit of glow building in her eyes.

"I think your natural skin is beautiful, M'gann." Using that name for the green skin. "There's no point in me being secretive. I admit it must be nice to blend in well with Humans and get to see how they act like that. I am told I often make people act different when I am around. Especially males." Kori' shrugs her shoulders at that. It makes no sense to her why she affects some genders more than others.

The car pulls up to the front of the theater after a bit of stop-go in the line for others doing the same. It's just a weekday so there's not a huge crowd at all. "Here we go. The tickets are under my name. We can hit the drinks and snacks then enjoy our seats." She can't wait to see what the seats are like and plans to make it the best experience for the two of them "The show is over two hours, but there's an intermission. So we can get more snacks if we need to!" If the women get swamped it is likely to be then.

Bailey Jennings has posed:
Bailey seems happy to have others getting some of the attention. She has self-esteem issues, and it shows, when she's around certain people. "That's because you're freaking gorgeous, Princess Koriand'r. And you too, M'gann." She nods to each of them in turn. Once the car pulls up, she'll move out the far door to loop around, so that she can go around the car. She can keep a pretty narrow line behind her, but it's a long line.

Koriand'r has posed:
"Do you doubt your own beauty, Bailey? I do not understand why. You are beautiful and your abilities are wonderful." Her large green eyes blink in confusion as to why Bailey would be insecure at all for getting attention. She gives that tail a reassuring pat as they are now to the point of needing to get out of the car. "Put your slink on ladies," and with that the three woman in sexy outfits can head out to the theater!
