Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Robert Marksman, Gwen Stacy

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman has a night off work and is looking to relax. He was told about this place, and knowing he occasionally has to have business meetings with people who would enjoy this type of thing he decided to check it out. The large man looks a bit thuggish specially with his sunglasses on inside, but has found a place at the end of the bar, near an empty table where he can watch people.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Life between higher education and heroics can be a little thing, so sometimes a 'night off' was just as important for a certain Spider. Gwen was out and about, and the idea of some karaoke and probably nothing heavier to drink than a soda sounded good enough for her. Pushing through the doors, the blonde with the bubble-gum dyed tips was dressed rather simply, jeans and a tank top underneath her hoodie jacket.

There wasn't really a great rush for the counter just yet after all.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman looks over and does give the new girl a bit of a look over. He has a soda in front of himself as well. The young man's foot taps a bit to the current song playing. He seems mostly relaxed here, but there is something about him that seems to be keeping his eyes open on the place.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
It wasn't exactly glamourous or fancy for Gwen as she orders a 'coke', but a drink is a drink! Leaning her hip to the side of the counter as she awaited the beverage. Robert's eyes moving to her and the fact they're close by is enough to catch the blonde's attention, a polite enough nod of her head in casual greeting.

"Hey there,"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman nods, and says "And to you, know this is going to sound lame, but come here often? First time coming out here, and am curious about how they do the karaoke, and how busy the place gets." He will say lod enough to carry over any music but not shoutting.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"I don't actually," Gwen laughs, a little shrug of her shoulders given and apparently unbothered by the 'lame line' as she answers truthfully. "Just saw it when I was passing by the other day, thought it looked like some fun and actually had some time to check it out so..." a shrug. "Here I am."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman smiles and says "Well a new time for us both." He says and lifts his glass in a mini toast. "I'm Robert by the way." He offers in introduction "And you?"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Gwen," she returns, the young woman taking the 'toast' for a lazy raise of her glass and taking a sup before she looks towards the stage. "I can think of a friend of mine who'd -love- this place, but I'm more into percussion than actually singing. At least in public, showers don't count obviously."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman chuckles and says "Yea, I don't sing a lot, but got know some folks who would get a kick out of it, so I thought check it out maybe try singing a song or two see how the whole thing works here so if I bring them out and bumblef... err fumbeling about with figuring it out.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"I think," the blonde muses, chuckling a little and gesturing towards the stage, "the point is usually to bring in a bunch of friends, maybe getting drunk and definately laughing at each other in good fun singing stuff poorly. People, doing good isn't probably as much fun. Right?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman grins and says "Well for me it would be a bit more business types mostly. Have some out of country visitors at times, and if I got like 5 guys in here who's first language is not english me being able to explain things to them would be handy

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Gwen blinks, a chuckle at the thought as it crosses her mind. "I wonder if people do that here?" she questions, tilting her head to the side. "Y'know, take clients out and get them drunk, sing stuff to broker deals and all that. Maybe it's just a television thing, but I hear it's pretty big in Japan."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman nods, and says "Is what I was thinking for when have some Japanese business men over." He grins a bit and says "So, you think you will sing something tonight?"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
A laugh, Gwen shrugs, looking up towards the stage. "Maybe...probably not. I mean, I'll play music on a stage no problem, but I'm not exactly the frontwoman. What about you? Planning on belting out a few power ballads and stuff? Drop some raps and stuff? Practice your J-Pop?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman chuckles a bit and says "Well, I aint sure, probably should so I see the sign up and such. Hmms and says "Maybe a bit of Paint it black, or Crazy Train." He offers for a couple of choices.

Gwen Stacy has posed:
A low whistle, she sips her drink again and gives a laugh. "Those are some pretty different vocal ranges, at least if you're trying to sound like the original artist. But getting it 'Right' and sounding the same isn't really the point of this kind of thing."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman says, "Well since your the musician, how about you join me and we can try something that could use two people?"
