Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
To say a lot has happened since Nadia and Shuri last met while working on the Brainiac Array would be the understatement of the century, but somehow the Waspette has come through it all stronger and even more determined to change the world than before. With the decision to let the ghosts of the past rest and instead look towards the future there is a single goal before her, nothing less than to show girls and women can change the world for the better. That is what has brought her to the Wakandan embassy today, because she knows this isn't a task she can accomplish alone, no it is time to show the world what an entire team of G.I.R.L. geniuses can accomplish together!

Nadia remembers working with Shuri on the Brainiac Array and she remembers being really impressed with her amazing technology, particularly that minature star power source, so trying to recruit her is a no brainer. Finding her is the trick, though Nadia doesn't overthink it too much, she knows T'Challa is around New York, so maybe Shuri still is too and where do you find someone from Wakanada but the Wakandan embassy of course! It all makes perfect sense to her anyway.

Nadia strides into the embassy and right up to the reception desk in the lobby with a big smile on her face, "Hello! Excuse me! I'm looking for Shuri!" She informs them, as if one can simply walk in off the street and meet the Princess of Wakanda.

Shuri has posed:
The woman at the desk looks up with a big blink and stares at Nadia for a long moment, "You are looking for Princess Shuri?" She asks and then looks down at the monitor for a moment and then Nadia will notice a camera focusing on her and scanning. The woman waits a long moment before nodding her head, "It appears you are in the system." She states simply enough, "Nadia." She considers and then gestures, "It appears that Shuri will see you. Follow that corridor to an elevator and it will take you where you need to go."

The corridor does indeed lead to an elevator that has no visible buttons but once Nadia enters it will take her down to what appears to be a lab space or...an art exhibit? It is hard to tell. Either way, she can hear music playing and someone working in the far side of this large lab that has many pieces of tech that might be unfamiliar to Nadia and, well, also a lot of art on the walls.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"I am!" Nadia smiles brightly at the woman confirming that she is indeed here to see the Princess without an appointment. "She's so smart, her tech is genius, I want to do more science together with her." Nadia informs the woman before waving up at the camera focusing in on her.

"Oh! Maybe it's not in your computer yet, I have a full name now." She seems pretty happy about this, "Nadia Pym-van Dyne." She informs the woman when addressed by name, with that nigh infectious enthusiasm of hers. Upon being informed that Shuri will indeed meet with her she claps her hands together, "That's great." and walks off down the indicated hallway towards the elevator humming to herself.

"Oooh." She says appreciatively to no one in particular inside the buttonless elevator as she looks around letting her mind try and figure out how it works. Stepping out into the lab she's looking here and there and everywhere, head bopping back and forth subtley to the music as she walks. The science equipment actually gets more appreciative looks than the arts. Art is all well and good, but SCIENCE! will always be her true love. "Hello?" She calls out as she strolls to through the space humming along to the music.

Shuri has posed:
"Back and to the left." Calls out a voice from somewhere deeper in the lab and when Nadia follows the voice, she'll find the young woman with what appears to be some kind of clear orange visor over her face. She is working on what appears to be a gauntlet with a pair of odd metallic devices that are spark as she touches them to the black gauntlet. She might be able to see it appears to be one of the Black Panther gloves. She turns around once Nadia walks into visiual range and it appears that the visor was simply hard light.

As it disappears into her earing, she grins at Nadia, "Hello, Nadia. What brings you into my lab today? I was not expecting to see you." She sets down the tools and walks over to Nadia with a grin, "I am sorry that I was not able to help you with your problems in Russia but I had only heard about that after it happened."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
The sound of the voice is followed deeper into the laboratory space, still looking around appreciatively at all the art and tech; who knew there was a space like this down here? When she happens upon Shuri she smiles, happy to see her. "Hi!" She greets her fellow girl genius. At the mention of Russia she pauses, "In a way that's kind of what I'm here, nothing like getting dragged back to a Soviet Bunker and mentally tortured to put what you've been doing in perspective. It's fine though, both the Avengers and the Titans came and brought me back."

"Anyway," She's just as happy to let the topic of Russia drop, "I wanted to talk to you about, I guess you could call it an intiative I want to put together." She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small metal cube, "I brought some visual aids." She pushes a button on the top of the cube and a series of animated holograms fill the space emanating from the cube, images of heroes and footage from various events that go along with the things she is talking about.

"The Avengers, Justice League, S.H.I.E.L.D., A.I.M., Hyrdra, Titans, Fantastic Four, The greatest heroes and villains in the world are also widely regarded as some of the smartest and most formidable minds in the world. They're also seventy-five percent men. Think back to when we were working on Brainiac's array, Dr. Richards, Dr. Doom, my father, Tony Stark, Cyborg, Techno, Dr. Banner, the Lanterns, the heroes the world turns to when there is a Science crisis are almost all men. We can do great things, but alone we always seem to be in someone's shadow. It's not that there aren't brilliant women and girls out there, it's that nobody is really looking for us right now. There's all those calls to get women into STEM but how many world saving heroes do we really have to look up to? I want to change that, change all of it, change the world. I want to gather together a group of the most brilliant girls and women into a force that can't be ignored and combine our brilliance collectively to make the world a better place. I call it G.I.R.L. Genius In action Research Laboratories, and I want you to be a part of it with me. Your mind, your tech, you're amazing, and I just know we can do even more amazing things together!" She finally takes a breath after her speech is done, because that was a lot.

Shuri has posed:
A slow blink is given to the girl as she gives her presentation and then she clears her throat, "Well, that was quite a show you put on." She states simply enough even as she shifts her weight back on to her right foot and crosses her arms. A hand comes up under her chin and then she considers before offering out, "And is this going to be like some kind of super group?" She asks and tilts her head, "I am not against it but I have yet to directly get involved with htese groups as I really don't have a hero name. a secret id or any of that."

She then looks back at her work and hten at Nadia, "I guess what I am saying is those were all very pretty words but what do you actually wish to do. Change the world is easy." She gestures over to a test tube nearby, picks it up and drops it shattering it. She points, "World changed." And a moment later a small rhoomba races out and sweeps it all up, "What kind of change are you looking to do?"

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia puts her hologram projector away in her pocket again, "That is a destructive change." she points out after the test tube is dropped, "I'm interested in making things that make people's lives better. City to city teleportation, curing cancer, talking to plants, whatever people want to work on to make lives better to leave the world better than we found it yesterday and to show we can do it just well as the boys clubs that run the world. There may be some superheroing, too. Science threats like the Brainiac array and the Warworld invasion keep popping up, but that depends more on who joins and what they feel they are capable of. To start, I just want a meeting of the minds, with a shared lab space, and see where it goes from there. Maybe it goes nowhere. Janet tells me my Dad and Reed Richards come to blows if they're in the same lab too long, but I think we can, I think a solid team of really smart girls can do whatever we put our minds to."

Shuri has posed:
A smile and then she nods, "I suppose I do not mind joining." She nods her head, "I would be more than willing to help you on various projects and work on things as necessary." She then considers, "And I can provide a better lab space for those who wish to be involved than anyone else." She chuckles, "Though, I warn, I am not going to be able to share certain things with outsiders. My brother would nto allow it and while I often go against it, I can't disagree on the idea of keeping Vibranium out of the world as much as possible." She shrugs, "It's simply too powerful."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia grins, though waves off the talk of Vibranium, "There are a lot of things people aren't ready for yet or should not be in general use. But there are also applications of technologies that could make peoples lives better. Look at it this way I'm not going to be giving out Pym Particles to anyone who wants them, but what if there was some way to use them in small amounts to cure Cancer? That might be worth it. This tech of yours, is yours, it's up to you and your brother what you do with it and how much you share. Maybe in a meeting of minds you'll find an idea worth sharing it with, maybe not. But we'll never know unless we take the first steps and try. Anyway I'm not asking you to share anything you're not comfortable with and I'm really glad you're willing to give this a shot. As for lab space, I should show you my own personal lab sometime." She says with a wink. "I've asked Janet if she can provide some, maybe in PymTech, but we'll see. If you want to help outfit it that'd be great!"

Shuri has posed:
A smile and a nod, she then takes a breath, "I am in then." She nods her head, "And more than willing to help you outfit a nice lab." She then looks over at her work before grinning back to Nadia, "For now, though, I must finish what I started on." She gestures to the gauntlet, "I will be glad for you to be in touch."
