Javert brings food to Valjean
Date of Scene: 13 October 2020
Location: Nelson and Murdock
Synopsis: Kingpin thinks his board is almost ready for prime time. Mr Fisk and Mr Nelson.
Cast of Characters: Wilson Fisk, Foggy Nelson

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Mr. Fisk was told that Mr. Nelson was not in court for once, as that massive man moves for the door, having been here so often now. As he moves in, placing a candy on the desk of Karen. "Hello dearest, Karen, the real warrior here, keeping them from going mad." His voice is teasing, loving, as that large black man, walks past heading into the conference room, as he sits down now.

Today it is a simple sinful red suit with a purple tie as his large left leg lifts over his right, as he waits now as his eyes closing, getting a moment of quiet, he is a busy man and one has to bask in them, when they are allowed.

Foggy Nelson has posed:
Foggy's feet fall from his desk and hit the floor of his office with a thump when his laptop pings with an IM from Karen to let him know that Mr. Fisk has arrived for an office visit. He stands up, neatens the rolled up sleeves on his light blue button-down shirt, pushes the knot of his tie up into a tighter place, and tries not to yank the door from its hinges while he steps out into the open reception area.

"Mr. Fisk, pleased to make your acquaintance," Franklin P. Nelson, Esquire says as he makes his way around the conference room table to take a seat opposite Fisk at a diagonal. "I'm Franklin Nelson. You've been discussing your plans with my partner, and I must say, this seems to be an excellent offer, indeed."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"It is good to meet you after so much time, Mr. Nelson." Mr. Fisk slides to his feet as his hand is offering towards that massive black paw aimed right towards Mr. Nelson with a friendly smile." It is good to know your onboard; I was told you had questions. Feel free to fire them so that we can get this on the road."

Foggy Nelson has posed:
Foggy rises to accept the handshake with aplomb and cocks his head slightly. "Yes, of course," he says as he sits back down and gestures for Fisk to do the same. "I was not quite clear on the terms of delivery for the funding on this endeavor," the attorney says as he pulls over a closed, blue, and slightly worn folder from a few inches to his right. He opens the folded oaktag and flips to the third page immediately. "Are you releasing these funds as an annuity, or in a single aggregate? I want to ensure we're compliant on grant reporting standards."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Mr. Fisk chuckles slowly as he looks into Mr. Nelson's eyes as his smile wider as he shakes that hand freeing it now."I have lots of money to throw at this, more than the devil. I will pay for anything you need. You only need to help the children, the people of Hell's Kitchen, that is all. Think of me as your personal Amex Black, with no limit, no reason, no need to tell me anything. I just wish to see it, so I know your working. I don't care what it is on, your vision, your goals."

Foggy Nelson has posed:
Foggy takes a deep breath through his nose and straightens in his seat, cocking a look at Fisk before scribbling some notes in the margin of the page. "It is a rather unique opportunity," he says. He peers at a paragraph on page three and flips to page four, posting his thumb ready to move to the fifth and final page shortly. "The terms are rather compact and self contained for detailing the funds as being for use of the community, but are you expecting any particular deliverables on a schedule? Benchmarks for any kind of outreach funding are a vital accountability mechanism."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"None, do as you see fit, Mr Nelson. Make this couminty a heaven for the world. Than, if it works we will roll it out to other distracts of the city." Mr. Fisk nods slowly, watching Mr. Neslon with a chuckle, as his hand is rests on the table."Fixing the world, is a slow and painful process, it's not like war. This is love, and it takes time to bloom."

Foggy Nelson has posed:
"Indeed it does," Foggy says as he draws a bracket to the left of a paragraph on page four and circles a few words here and there before flipping to five and adding a note in the margin with an arrow pointing below the typed text. "When you bring up the process being painful... the draft expectations I've been reading are for legal and medical clinics. What kind of pain do you foresee in the community?" he asks, leaning back in his chair.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"There might be people striking back, when we start removing and healing the addicts, the broke, the victims." Mr. Fisk watches Foggy with a nod of his head."I will hire guards for you, if that comes up, next."

Foggy Nelson has posed:
Foggy nods and puts a few more notes to the page. He looks up past Fisk to glance at Karen as she answers the phone on the second ring. "My partner and I were mightily impressed by what we saw in your information regarding developments to meet immediate needs. It's most commendable," the attorney notes with a nod. "We were wondering whether you had any particular followup expectations with regard to those served through these provisions." He clicks his pen as he spreads his arms wide in an expansive gesture. "We have so many in need in this part of the city. Beyond the terms of the grant, what do you consider a healed Hell's Kitchen to look like? What place do you see for yourself as the city heals?" He closes the folder and rests his arms across the portfolio.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"The question is what do you see it as Mr. Neslon, what is it to you. I'm not from here anymore, I don't live here. I'm funding a project for you to run, I wanted people that loved this city, this place." Mr. Fisk nods slowly, watching the man with a shake of his head."This is not about me at all.:"

Foggy Nelson has posed:
"It's home," Foggy replies at length with a slight shrug. "And it's absolutely worth saving. Thank you, Mister Fisk. Now that we've spoken, I'll have a conversation with Mr. Murdock to finalize our infrastructure to manage the grant," he says, gesturing with the folder in a slight wave, "And then we can get the signed documents back to you." He stands with a smile.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Wilson Fisk nods slowly moving to his feet taking the hand shaking it in his right massive one."It was a pleasure, I look forward to you saving your home. I have a second meeting today, I hope your day is well." With that he is turning for the door heading for it, with a wide smile, as he nods towards Karen, before climbing into his car."Pawns, on the board."
