This Could Be The Start of a Beautiful Friendship
Date of Scene: 04 November 2020
Location: The Narrows - Miagani Island
Synopsis: Supergirl, wounded from a fight, finds a new friend in a Gotham vigilante.
Cast of Characters: Kara Danvers, Stephanie Brown

Kara Danvers has posed:
The rain was still pouring down hard. This particular part of the downs now sported an apartment with a hole in the wall thanks to Supergirl. Satisfied that Daisy Johnson was okay, aka Quake, aka Agent Johnson, aka Aftershock... so many names for spies; she takes to the skies in a blue of red and blue.

Not barely a few buildings over her head starts to ring loudly and she grabs it in pain. The red and blue blur arcs back down to the ground and crashes in to the side walk. The rain beats on her harder and she coughs up more blood.

"/nahn voiehd w udol/," ~this is bad~ she says and wipes the blood away from her nose. She pushes herself back up and stumbles up against the side of a building. Her hair has matted itself down against her neck. She pushes against the ground and jumps to take flight, before collapsing back down again with another intensely splitting headache.

"/urvishzha/" ~not good~ she says to herself. She spies a hoodie hanging on a line down the alley way and.. well, she can return it later. "/:zhalish khap/" ~forgive me~ she says as she takes it and puts it on. It's soaked too but it'll do. It covers up her symbol. People can't see her like this. They already saw Superman die once.

She wipes at the blood dribbling from her nose and starts to walk down the cobble stone streets of the narrows. From time to time she rests up against a wall and squeezes her eyes shut, trying to silence the pounding and ringing in her head.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
The patter of the rain is everywhere, falling on cement, on rooftops and car roofs. A quiet thunder that seems to want to drown out the rest of the senses with the ever-present dull roar of the impacts of tens of thousands of drops.

Lightning lances through the sky overhead, momentarily illuminating the silhouette of a building with a laundromat on the ground floor and apartments above, before the light fades away and darkness returns. Before the thunder has passed, a second bolt zigzags through the clouds above. Only in that short space between lightning flashes, a figure has emerged on the edge of the roof. Cape drawn around it, any denizens of Gotham who saw it would immediately leap to the conclusion it was a bat-like shape. Or a Bat-like shape.

The darkness returns, but the figure falls with it, cape billowing as a line is used to slow the fall to result in a light landing on the pavement ahead of the now hoodie-clad Kryptonian.

Only as the person walks forward, it's quickly evident it is not the Gotham Bat, but instead a girl in purple, blond hair soaked where it escapes from her cowl. "When I heard about holes being blown in buildings, I really wasn't expecting you," Spoiler says.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara feels about for her T-comm. Darn, she left it back at the Titans HQ because this was in Gotham and she's not meant to be in Gotham fighting crime. This time was different though, she would hopefully later explain to Batman. ZZGU is a huge threat and the DEO is her people.

She needs help, that much is evident. She sees a person with a phone under an umbrella and holds out a hand covered in blood to them saying, "/tulem khap w vokai, sokaofahtulzha ehworuju/" ~i need your help, please handover the phone~.

The person seeing a soaked woman in a gray hoodie and blue mini skirt, blood over her face and hands, lurching and struggling and speaking an alien language... does what any Gothamite in the Narrows would do.. they drop their umbrella and run for it.

"/doshai/" ~disappointing~ she says to herself and stumbles further down the street. Her vision sudden pushes in to the microscopic and back out again and she almost loses her lunch. As she looks back up, there is Spoiler before her. If it weren't raining so hard it'd be evident she is crying though it is possible to hear it in her voice right now, "/vokai/" ~help~ she begs of the batling she had only met once before in the slums of Metropolis.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler's eyes widen as she hears the emotion in Supergirl's voice. Not just hears, but sees the look on her face. Like so many, Spoiler just assumes the Kryptonian is nigh indestructible. To see her in this state sets off all manner of alarms in Stephanie Brown.

Though those worries are pushed to the side after nothing more than a quick glance about the area for signs of a threat. She moves quickly to Kara's side. "What happened to you? What can I do to help?" she asks. It feels ridiculous to her to offer support, yet seeing Kara's stumbling steps, Spoiler moves to slip an arm beneath the other's shoulder to help her walk.

Her eyes dart about and she makes a quick decision, guiding Kara over towards the laundromat. It has only a single person it, an elderly black woman of robust size, folding clothes that have just come out of the dryer.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara is grateful when Spoiler offers her support. She's extremely solid for a person. It's a dead give away if one ever met her in the guise of Kara Danvers. She does go out of her way to move with touches to avoid people realising the 'girl of steel' is not just a nickname. She leans in to Spoiler every now and then when she loses her equilibrium.

Entering the laundromat, the charitable folks of Gotham do exactly what is expected of them - she sees a caped crusader type helping someone covered in blood in to the laundromat and makes the tactical decision to come back for her clothes later.. making a quiet but hasty exit from the building.

Kara squeezes her eyes shut again and grips a laundry washer. It buckles under her grip and she lets out a groan as there is an intense ringing inside her head again. "/raozha khap/" ~I don't know~ she replies with a touch of pain in her voice and slumps down on to one of the seats.

Her minds eye shoots back to the other world and the gigantic monstrosity covered in tentacles and eyes and beaks. She goes cross eyed for a moment and then in a violent cough up comes some black bile.

Panting, she catches her breath and says, "I must have swallowed some of its ooze." There's a blink and she smiles just a little, "I can speak English again. I have the worst headache. It feels like my mind is on fire." There is a slightly too hard squeeze on Stephanies arm in thanks, "How did you find me?"

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Water drips from both women, leaving small puddles in their wake as they cross the tiled floor, Spoiler guiding Kara over towards some seats as the customer vacates quickly. "Let's just get you set dow-" she says as Kara reaches out to the machine for support, the metal groaning as it is deformed by Kara's grip.

Stephanie swallows, knowing the other hand is on her, and mentally wills Supergirl to keep her strength under control, at least until she's seated.

She gently helps Kara sit down and then moves to stand in front of her. "Swallowed some of its ooze. There really aren't too many situations that combination of words is a good thing," she says.

The girl's blue eyes turn to look outside the laundromat. "Is... whatever it is, still around?" she asks. "Well, there was a hole in a building and you generated a few phone calls as you flew away. We try to keep an eye on unusual things," she says. After a moment she adds, "What did this to you?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara slumps in exhaustion. Holding the London Eye aloft as was seen on TV? not a problem! ...fighting an other worldly dimension hopping tentacle monster? now that's exhausting. "That's.. that's a long story." She wipes at her nose again and then checks that her cape is tucked away in the hoodie - it is.

"It is still around, but it's trapped in another version of Earth. It goes by the name Zhed'Zhud'Ger'Uth. It's a gigantic slug tentacle horror thing apparently from outer space. It arrived on this other Earth and conquered the world. Some survivors made a dimensional gateway to our Earth and now it wants to come here and conquer this Earth too. That... that cannot happen. At least now I know how my counterpart must have been defeated by it over there.. if I even woke up in that version of Earth," she explains skipping a lot of details.

"I'm sorry about the apartment. Some DEO agents got infected with its mind control and one of them was in the apartment and built a new portal. I ended up going through the portal and I saw the thing.. it saw me too. It really really wants to come here."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler eyes the blood on Kara's face and her mind runs towards just what this creature must be to be able to hurt Supergirl like that. "Ok... so you said it's trapped there? Is the portal destroyed or shut down? Do I need to gather people to and stop it from being opened again?" she asks, dropping down to a knee before where Kara is seated to bring her face more on a level with the other blond.

"I could have Batman get the rest of the Justice League if needed. Though if it's a close thing I can head over there now to try to buy time. Hopefully I don't end up where you went though, if so," she says.

Her eyes study Kara's injuries. "Is there anything we can do for your wounds? Treat them how we would treat a human's?" she asks. "Wow, I'm just realizing how little I know about you," she says.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara rests a hand on Spoiler's and smiles in that calming way she has. Despite all the blood, everything will be alright - that's what her blue eyes say. "An Agent of SHIELD shut the machine down and closed the portal before any real harm was done. This time. Last time bits of it got through. The man responsible though, he got away. This might just have been a trial run, but he built the thing with basic electrical components he'd gathered from department stores and electronics stores. Very troubling."

A small pat of her hand on Spoiler's and she says. "I really don't know. I've never been hurt like this before. It had some kind of psychic attack. It hit my brain like nothing I know. I have.. specialised equipment... elsewhere. But I will need to fly to get to it. I'm feeling better now that that gunk is out of me," she says motioning to the ooze. "Be careful not to touch it, it will get in your head."

She looks back in to Stephanie's eyes and says, "I think.. I just need a bit of time to recover. Something to cool me down that isn't rain and some place safe so the people of Gotham don't see.. hah.. Supergirl.. like this." She motions over herself.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler's mask covers her nose down to her chin, but leaves the blue eyes completely uncovered. "Right. Stay away from the ooze. That's a life lesson I'll take to heart," she says, glancing at Kara more carefully and glad that she managed to not get any on herself before realizing quite what was going on.

"Well, let's get you changed. I've got a motorcycle on the other side of the block, will bring it around and then we can get out of here," Spoiler suggests. She rises from her half-crouch to look around the laundromat, and then goes over to the clothing left behind by the departing woman.

Spoiler picks up a few of the garments, unfolding them to gauge the size. The first few items probably belong to the woman, and Spoiler and Kara could probably almost both fit in the top together. But then she finds something else that must belong to someone else. A deep green sweatshirt with the name of a local high school on it. More digging in the clothing finds some sweat pants. She brings them over then goes to check out the rest of the place. "There's a bathroom there, why don't you clean off and get those on, while I get the bike?" she suggests.

Spoiler digs in her utility belt, pulling out a few dollars. They were going to buy tickets to the Gotham-ESU game, a chance to take Cassandra Cain out to see a sporting event. But some things are more important, the money slid under the stack of folded clothing where the woman should find it later.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"I hope I can return these to their owner later," she says as she accepts the clothing. With Spoiler gone she sits there for a moment, thinking about how difficult life has become of late. Things really were so much easier back home.. being blind to the realities of everyone else hurting. It's not like she'd make different choices even if she could.

She gets the mop and dilutes the ooze in to a water mess and and pushes it out the front door to be further diluted by the rain. Then she goes to the bathroom and gets changed. Her blue and red clothing and cape fold up extra small and she puts them into the pocket of the sweat pants.

"Ah, well.. hello Kara Zor'El, nice alien clothing you're wearing," she says to herself in the mirror, then washes her hands and face to get as much of her blood off as she can. It doesn't take much coaxing to celan herself up. "Hope you're enjoying that weird blue green planet we sent you to. Remember, look after your cousin he's just a baby..," she says mockingly to herself with a finger wave.

Her hands rest on the basic and she stares at herself with a serious look. "It's fine.. we can trust her," she says as the ringing in her head is finally starting to go back down. "We don't have a choice.. but not as Kara Danvers." She nods her head, "I'll just be.. me."

She wanders out of the bathroom and stuffs her hands in to pockets. It's all extremely oversized for her fit frame but something is better than nothing. Oh if Janet Van-Dyne saw her like this she'd have a conniption. She exits to join Stephanie when the bike rocks up.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
The motorcycle pulls up, a purple high performance bike, but lacking the bells and whistles (and smokescreens and caltrops) of a Batcycle. Spoiler has a purple and black helmet on. "I guess you can probably go without one," she says to the Krytonian, though Spoiler detaches her cape and offers it to Kara to drape over herself and keep the change of clothing dry.

Once Kara is settled on the bike, it pulls away and accelerates quickly. A normal human might find the speed at which it is traveling on the wet streets worrisome, but Spoiler weaves it in and out of traffic with obvious skill.

She turns her head just a bit, though eyes still on the road as she says, "Can take you to one of Batman's places. Or if you'd rather lay lower than that, my mom's place isn't too far away. She's working tonight so we'd have the place to ourselves," she says.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara wraps the cape about herself and sits on the back of the bike, wrapping her arms about the vigilante hero. She smiles though still a bit woozie. The fast riding is hard to track, letting her know she's still not yet safe to fly. "Please not Batman's places. He might turn up and stare at me," she says.

"He stares at you like my mother used to lecture me about dangerous science experiments," she adds though it's hard to explain the social parental constructs of Krypton on the back of a bike. But it's not too surprising even Batman can make Supergirl feel uncomfortable with just a look.

"Your place will be fine. I won't tell anyone about.. who you are. Spoiler," she hastily adds and then sighs, tucking her head in against Stephanie's back as they ride. She used to get scared by this sort of fast motion, but since Earth she knows even if something went wrong: she'd be fine. It'd be Stephanie she'd worry about instead.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler's thoughts cast back to her own experiences with Bruce's expressions. The memories quiet the normally loquacious girl, and instead she just reaches up to gently pat one of Kara's hands where the arms are wrapped about Spoiler as she clings to her on the back of the bike.

They zoom across the bridge, leaving the islands and reaching the mainland. If Stephanie knows the area, she'd know they are not all that far from Wayne Manor actually. Though the difference between his part of town, and Widowstone is pronounced. The proverbial other side of the track from where one of the richest men in the world lives.

The motorcycle makes a pass by Widowstone Apartments, checking for anyone outside, before turning back and rolling up to the row of townhouses. The garage door in back goes up and Spoiler, light out, pulls the bike quickly inside and the door goes down behind them.

She waits for Kara to dismount the bike and then does so herself, parking it and saying, "I don't normally pull in in costume. With the rain and all, probably ok," she says. "Come on, let's get you inside," she says, moving over to unlock the inside door and open the way into the small two-story dwelling.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"You need a secret tunnel or something. I could come back some time and make a tunnel for you, though you'd need to make your own secret entrance and electronics and things," she jests playfully as she gets off of the bike. She drapes the wet cape across the back of the bike and then walks with Stephanie through the side door in to her home.

She spies various pictures of the family, the furniture and life style of a typical American Gotham family. It's fascinating to her considering the way she's lived since she got here - the Fortress of Solitude and the best cover family the DEO can buy. This is practically a foreign country to her.

"Gotham people are a stubborn lot. They cling on to their homes despite all the horrible things that happen around them. Do they just tune it out or are they not aware? I could never tell back home, if people knew or not.. if they just chose to ignore the warning signs. But it was never this visceral as Gotham is... so may be they didn't know," she muses.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
The pictures are mostly of Stephanie, or her mother, or both. There are two pictures that have a man in them who is likely Stephanie's father. Both of them she is quite a few years younger though, nothing with him in them that are recent.

Once inside, Spoiler pulls off her cowl and mask, revealing her face to Kara. "Well, I have my own apartment near campus. But getting you in there unseen would be a bit tougher in this weather if you're not flying on your own. Top floor. I can swing across from a nearby building easily enough, but... well, the weather," she says.

"My room's upstairs. What can I do? Do you want something to eat or drink? Or maybe soak in the shower for awhile? I mean, if I had alien ooze in my brain I'd probably take a shower that lasted a week," Stephanie says. "And... ah, you can call me Stephanie, too," she says, giving a little shrug and smile to Kara.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara nods her head and instantly regrets it as she is hit with a small wave of vertigo. It passes and she releases a breath, then smiles to Stephanie. "I think I need something cooler than a shower or a drink. Do you have ice cream?," she suddenly thinks this option up. A bit of brain freeze could be exactly what she needs... or may be make things worse.

As Stephanie introduces herself she holds out both her hands, palm up. It's automatic and clearly a non-Human gesture of greeting. "I am /,kahrah,zor,ehl,/, but most on Earth who know this name simply call me Kara. It's easier to pronounce," she says with a slightly bemused look on her face. She half expects the usual attempt at pronouncing her Kryptonian name properly. So far, only Siobhan has nailed it.

She rests a hand on the staircase railing and walks up. The room with the fuzzy blue bedsheet cover seems to be right one. She sits down on the edge of the bed and runs her fingers over the artificial fuzz and chuckles. "Wild," she mentions and then flops backwards on the bed to stare up at the ceiling.

"I miss home," she says now she's amongst someone elses real home, where they really grew up. Not the architectural wonder of the Fortress of Solitude, or the fake family home of the Danvers.. but her real home, her real bed, her real parents, in her real city. She gets like this when it's been a hard battle.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Stephanie Brown, of course, tries to say the name. And hopelessly butchers it. It probably falls in the bottom quarter of pronunciations that Kara has heard. "I probably just hurt your ears with that," she concludes, but giving Kara such a warm, self-deprecating grin as she does.

"Ice cream? Oh hell yeah we got that covered," Stephanie says. "Why don't you go on up and I'll grab some," she says, though pauses to make sure that Kara can make it up them on her own well enough.

Stephanie's room has a number of gymnastics trophies in it, and there's a picture of her on even bars. Though mostly it's posters of bands, Simone Biles, and the Gotham Knights football team. The girl arrives shortly thereafter, with two small tubs of ice cream and two spoons. "Vanilla chocolate chip, and black cherry with bits of real cherry in it," she says of the flavors. She brings the ice cream over, leaving it with Kara on the bed and then goes over to peel of her wet costume. A quick toweling off is done and then she slips into some shorts and sweats of her own, and a t-shirt.

After, Stephanie comes over to sit on the bed cross-legged, and she opens up the tubs of ice cream. Stephanie says looks around her room self-consciously, saying, "I know it's kind of a small place. Mom and I moved here after we lost the house in No Man's Land. We lived over on the island. Were stuck staying in a school for a year before she was able to get us in here," she says. Yep, really self-conscious. Where Kara sees a wholesome Earth home, Stephanie feels the baggage of her family life and poor upbringing.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara merely grins at her attempt to speak her language, "It's okay, there's very few people on Earth even trying to learn Kryptonian let alone getting it right." She'd love to tell her how terribly weird Kal El's Kryptonian accent is, but that is too much information to share.

Kara winces for a moment as a high pitched siren fills her ears and then there is a pop as her superhearing kicks back in. She pokes a little finger in to each ear and flicks out some water. "Ow," she murmurs to herself and then sits back up looking at the pictures and trophies. "You're very talented. I was a science nerd back home. The level of skill you have to do what you do amazes me. Humans amaze me every day."

The spoon is dug in to the vanilla with chocolate chips and she eats some with a soft mm. "Also human food is amazing," she adds and chuckles and lifts up the spoon, "as well as human cutlery. I've been on this planet two years and I'm only just getting the hang of the spoon."

As the subject of the home is brought up Kara says, "I can feel how you two live here. It has a warmth to it. What is No Man's Land?," she asks having no knowledge of what has transpired in Gotham's past. She motions to the sports poster, "Who are they?"

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Stephanie gives a soft, warm laugh. "That bad then, huh?" she confirms. Stephanie takes the black cherry tub, sliding it closer and dragging the spoon across the top to gather up some of the fruity ice cream.

"Really? Spoons?" she asks, stopping and staring at the utensil. "I'd have never really thought of that as something that would stand out to someone," she says, giving a warm little grin.

The spoonful of ice cream is moved to her mouth, and a warm sigh is given as Stephanie tastes it. "We do have some good food. I mean, I can't compare, but just there's so much good stuff."

Her head swivels slightly towards the poster. "Gotham Knights, just the best football team in the entire world. Well. Except for the whole win-loss thing, anyway," she says. Another spoonful of ice cream is gathered up.

And Stephanie needs it for the other question. "No Man's Land. Well, it's the nickname we had for what happened to Gotham. There was a battle out over the Atlantic. Superman and the Fantastic Four, against someone named General Zod, and this... thing from another dimension," Stephanie says.

She eats the ice cream before going on. "There was a massive tidal wave. Devastated a lot of the coast around here. Took out the bridges. And rather than repair it, the US government decided to leave us on our own. The criminals... they started taking over. Batman opposed them. Some of the only safe places in the city were in areas he carved out control of."

Stephanie's tone is very quiet and dark. "It was rough. Not a good moment for humanity," she says quietly. Stephanie clears her throat. "So in the end, well, you'll hear a lot about how it ended. But Bruce Wayne basically bribed the government to fix the issue, by agreeing to fund the HyperLoop. The government moved back in, restored a police presence. Fixed the bridges," she says.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara stabs the spoon in to the ice cream ... carefully. She is about to take another bite when suddenly Stephanie name drops General Zod. Kara's entire demeanour changes and she listens raptly to the entire story. "His name is /,druh,zod,/," she says with a great deal of displeasure dripping from her face.

She awkwardly nibbles on her bottom lip and lowers her eyes. "That sounds absolutely horrible. I can't imagine how terrible it must have been living through that." She looks back to Stephanie and says, "Dru-Zod is a general from Krypton. Part of the warrior guild. He.. was well liked. I remember seeing him on screens more than once talking about home world defence and the .."

She swallows nothing at all before continuing, "the earthquakes. When Krypton started ripping itself open, he declared martial law and coup'd the government claiming we were under attack. My.. my mother was one of the people who stopped him. At least.. I thought she had." She stares off in to the distance for a moment and takes in a deep breath. "Sorry, those are painful memories and for me it was only two years ago."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Stephanie Brown listens quietly as Kara reveals things about the situation that never quite made it into the news. Yes that he was from Superman's world, but not the rest of it.

At the end, the blond Gothamite slides the tub of black cherry over towards Kara. "Be sure to get some of the bits of fruit," she comments. Because this is what ice cream is for, dealing with moments like this.

Stephanie uses her spoon to get some of the chocolate chip ice cream. "Yes, sounds like he's been just a peach on every world he's been on," she says with a sigh and a shake of her head.

"Well. I was a kid at the time. Like what, 9 or 10. So it was really scary. And... ah, well, mom and I were on our own for much of it," she says.

She sits up a little straighter, as if consciously making herself move on from the memories. "So this thing you fought tonight. It's able to control people from whatever other world it's on?" she asks. "Can you tell who is under it's control or...?" she asks, trailing off.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara shakes her head and looks back to Stephanie. "Thanks," she says and swaps ice cream tubs with her. She smiles a touch hearing Stephanie had to endure that as such a young child. "And now you're like Batman, fighting for Gotham. He did set quite an example. I should ask Superman about what happened," she says with a small sigh.

"Well. Not exactly no. They seem to want to infect more people, open gateways to this other dimension and are happy to fight anyone who gets in their way ... sometimes? They go a bit insane. The DEO is still trying to recover from their run in with the mind control. I don't know if SHIELD is working on it - I was going to go ask Tony Stark if he could help... and if not him then perhaps Zatanna since this is weird psychic magic stuff going on here. I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable scientific explanation for it all."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
A bit of a wry smile is given at the comment of being like Batman. The sort that suggests there's probably a story there. "Well, trying to be," she says with a little nod, eyes down on the ice cream. Her spoon taps on the ice cream for a moment before she scoops up more of the frozen treat, eating it with a quiet, thoughtful look on her face.

"Hmmm. Well I don't know that I could do much good against... the thing you faced. But if these are normal people, and I can help? Track them down, stop them, I'll do whatever I can to help you out, Kara," Stephanie says.

She motions to where they are. "Or even if you just need someone to eat ice cream with. I'm available for that too," she says, flashing a grin over at Kara.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara holds up her spoon and offers it for a 'tink' of spoon to spoon declaration of friendship. "That I appreciate immensely. If you ever need me, just call out my name. Supergirl that is. Assuming you're not deep underground or under water or there's a void between the room you're in filled with water or extre.. you know what, call out my name and I am likely to hear you," she says with a nod.

Spoon in to the ice cream and more is eaten. "I'm really glad it was you that found me. If it were Robin, I'd never hear the end of it at the Titans Tower," she says with a chuckle and then shuts her eyes for a moment. "My head is barely hurting. I should go.. to my equipment.. before it's completely gone. There could be things I can learn from what happened to me." She sets the ice cream down and smiles to Stephanie, "Thank you so much for being my /nbysh/.. friend."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Stephanie clinks her spoon back to Kara's. "Yeah, he can be a little... intense," she says. "Nothing that a few rolls of duct tape can't fix though. If you're not familiar with it, look it up," she adds with a grin and a wink.

Stephanie listens and then says, "/nbysh/. Friend it is." A warm grin is flashed over to Kara. Stephanie has those kind of grins that others may find infectious, that just sort of release some of her inner self into them.

"I'm glad I was able to be there for you. And let me know if more happens with these people you could use help with," she says. "I probably can't hear you, but you could always phone me," she says, and will give Kara her number.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara puts the phone number in to her pocket. She nods her head, "Yes. I can. From my T-comms if I am wearing it. I will call you when things get bad again." She smiles and heads out of the house. "Thank you again Stephanie," she re-iterates and then looks up in to the stormy skies above. With a jump, she is streak of grey disappearing in to the clouds.
