Cast of Characters: Ben Reilly, Tabitha Smith

Ben Reilly has posed:
Ben recently started doing work in Salem Center as a way to distance himself from Manhattan and Peter Parker. He'd also heard that the occasional super scientist like Doctor McCoy could occasionally be stumbled upon, so it seemed wise to start working for the local pizzeria. He's looking a little sharper then usual having managed to pay for a haircut and get his hair dyed blonde. Anything to look different then his DNA progenitor. Wearing a t-shirt with a pizza on the chest, a hoodie, and jeans, he looks down at his order slip in one hand while he balances a stack of four pizzas in another.

His stomach growls. His shoulders round a little bit. "Man, Nothing more sadistic then delivery pies on an empty stomach. I hope this one is a good tipper."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith carries a single box in both hands as she heads from her official Kord Industries delivery van to the local apartment complex. She's wearing some tight jeans and a blue sweatshirt that's too big for her. Her short blonde hair is a spikey mess, as usual, but that's nothing new. She wears her pink 90s sunglasses in the extreme sun as she heads to the front door, and she scrambles for her little key card thingie, "Gawd bless it," she complains. She sighs as she actually has to do extra work to find the thing. She puts the package down on the pavement and stands over it like a HAWK, grabbing her official-looking clipboard off the top of it where she's been playing a balancing act, "Oh here it is you idiot," she mutters.

Ben Reilly has posed:
Ben balances the pizzas on his skull as he reaches into a pocket and pulls out his phone. He details a number and idly glancing Tabitha's direction as he waits for someone to pick up. He frowns and swears under his breath as he gets a voice mail. "Hey... Uh.. This is your pizza guy. I've got your pizzas. Think you could be buzz me up? I'll be waiting..."

He doesn't seem very confident that he'll get a reply. He starts looking around for a security guard or someone then looks back to Tabitha. Noticing she might have a way up. He scoots closer and murmurs, "Heyyy.. Think you could help a guy out? I need to make a delivery to 402, and they aren't picking up. Hoping to get up there so I can knock."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith is about to swipe her official-looking card when Ben butts in, buzzes the apartment building and blocks the doorway, "Uhh," she begins, peering at him strangely. What is dis guy doing?

There's no security guards in this place, cause they have a budget, and use key cards and buzzers, thinking they're all fancy. "You're going to 402?" she wonders, "402? The 402 here in Salem Apartments?" she asks and chuckles, "/I'm/ going up to 402. Wow, they ordered pizza and electronics. Okay, that's weird," she tells him. She picks up her package and holds up her key card in the air to show him that she has THE ACCESS.

Ben Reilly has posed:
"Huh. Yea, okay that is kind of weird, but I guess lucky for me. Surely if they ordered both, they'll be there. Guess they wanted some snacks while they setup." He offers a shrug and eyes the key card with envy. "So yea, I'm going to follow you. I'm -not- stalking you. I just really want to get my tip... and if I have to hold onto this pizza any longer. I'm going to eat it myself."

He points to an elevator when one arrives on their level and waits for her to enter and swipe them up. "So.. Electronics delivery, huh? That pay well? Sounds like a move up from food delivery." He inhales the aroma of the pepperoni and molten cheese. "And maybe a little less torture."

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith shrugs a bit as she carries her box to the elevator and enters with a swipe of her little key card, "Uhh yeah, I guess. It's totally the first delivery job I ever had," she explains. She has propped her 90s sunglasses up on top of her forehead and stands next to Ben with the box, leaning forward to jam the button for floor #4.

"I don't eat...pepperoni but I can smell it and you're stinking up the whole elevator. The whole place! They'll smell you coming for sure," she snickers and smiles, "I just cart shit from Kord Industries to wherever. It's the same thing without the...stink."

Ben Reilly has posed:
Ben offers a wishful sigh. "Okay, that sounds like delivery heaven. Not that I want to take your job. Just hoping y'all might have enough business for more delivery people." He sniffs at his hoodie and nods, sighing deeply. "All my clothes smell like pizza grease, dude. It's terrible. Day in, day out. Worse when people order anchovies or artichokes."

He grimaces and steps out of the elevator once it arrives on the 4th floor. "Gotta ask though. Who doesn't eat pepperoni? You a vegan or vegetarian?" He gives her a skeptical once over, continuing to walk to the nearby door of 402. He offers it a firm knock and calls out, "PIZZA!"

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith walks over next to him and nudges him to give her room with her official box, "Yes, vegetarian," she tells him and then squints at him as he relays his sad story, "Didn't know it was that bad," she mutters. She looks back up at the door to 402 and considers, "I'll give you the Kord Industries card...maybe you can totally get an office job," she tells him, "I do this after school."

A tall man finally answers the door and makes a joke about the delay, but it's not very funny to her. She holds out her box and he takes it, then he snatches up the pizza's, disappearing back inside to put them down, "Gotta sign, mister?" she asks. He comes back and looks at her strangely, while he pays Ben for the pizza. He hands Ben cash.

Ben Reilly has posed:
Ben tilts his head and peeks into the room while he accepts the cash. He hums as he catches a hint of other electronic boxes. Was that someone staring out a window with binoculars. He blinks and thanks the man for the tip. Turning toward Tabitha, he resumes the idle chit-chat. "I'd appreciate that. Where do you go to school?"

He eyes the fellow and notes the strange look given to Tabitha. His vigilante slash meddler instincts start to kick-in. He gets the 'itch' to figure out what's really going on in that room. He finally turns to the side and leans against the wall, giving the cash a quick count and then sending a text to his employer that the delivery was been made.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith isn't really that keenly aware of any spy operation or an illegal Russian trafficking. It just doesn't register with her but she does think the tall guy is strange, as he keeps taking his sweetass time with things. He gives Ben a smallass tip.

"Mister? Here, use my electronic pen," she tells him and offers the super fancy signable electronic clipboard. "Uhh what?" she wonders, glancing at Ben while the man finally signs.

"Oh, I mean, uptown. High school," she explains, "Do you live around here?"

Ben Reilly has posed:
Ben gives the Russian a little bit of a glare once he realizes he's been effectively stiffed. He'd definitely be playing a visit later as the Scarlet Spider. With crap for income, he sometimes had to 'get creative' when it came to funds and equipment. Bad tippers often turned out to be reasonable targets, many of them even turned out to be crooks.

"Eh. Sorta. I'm kind of between places at the moment." He answers Tabitha. "School didn't really work out for me. So.. I'm living the free life. Low-income.. but low responsibility." He tries to play it off cool. He's a teenager after all. "Not so bad most days. Probably need to get off my ass and get my GED." It was tricky being off the grid. He couldn't exactly register for school. "Just started working this job... You like it around here?"

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith shrugs a little, "Around here? I dunno, it's kinda dirty. Smells like pizza," she jokes and snickers. The tall man motions them to leave and goes back inside, slamming the door.

Tabitha checks her jeans pockets and pulls out a tiny little card, handing it over to Ben, "It's a big huge place so I guess they could have all different jobs, you know," she explains. "My name's Tabitha if you ever see me over there. Well I should go."
