The Framework: Hydra Academy
Date of Scene: 01 June 2021
Location: Hydra Academy, the Framework
Synopsis: Sharon, Jemms and Daisy meet up in the Framework to talk shop and how to approach the challenge ahead of convincing the rest of those captured by the Framework that they are in a construct. And because habits never die, not even in the Framework, Daisy brings food to share at Jemma's lab in the Hydra Academy.
Cast of Characters: Daisy Johnson, Sharon Carter, Jemma Simmons
Tinyplot: The Framework

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy almost hoped she hadn't actually stepped out of the Framework in order to see that footage. Of her mother being killed by both May and Bobbi. The two who are supposed to protect her. She had forced herself to accept this was just a simulation, but that feeling still lingered..., maybe an effect of the simulation itself. It all felt way too real, specially when she was back inside.

But eyes on the prize!

And that was to get their friends out of here. Though now that they were more prepared they had turned more organized. Phone numbers had been passed along so they could communicate and a meeting had been arranged. None other than Hydra Academy! Which was where Jemma was.

So a message had been sent.

< I got Radcliffe off my back and should have the afternoon available. Lets meet at the Academy? Figure out our next steps? > she suggested.

And then it was time to go, assuming they answered favorably, Daisy taking a Uber to make the way. So fancy! But in this world she didn't have her trusty van to get her from one place to the other.

Sharon Carter has posed:
It was odd. Falling into a role where you really didn't know the details until you've gotten there. Her start was an apartment. Something spartan just like what she keeps at the Playground, but much larger in a sense that she had a kitchen with plain dishes, a couch, a table, a television, the works. No decoration, all clean and bare. A glass desk which houses a laptop, one that she immediately accessed to get a better idea of who she is.

And then exploration.

A text came across her phone, which was immediately replied to: 'See you in a bit.'

No more communication after that, for she got the hint that she was in hiding by the massive amounts of SIM cards that were at her disposal. So she replaced it.

Unassuming garb? Check. Regular jacket and a pair of jeans and sneakers.

Method of transportation? A ten speed.

Money? Stuck in a mens wallet and right in her back pocket. She was all good to go. Helmet, knee pads and all. It was good to work off the shock and mild anger. Very good. So much so that she finds herself being near reckless as she speeds through stop lights and weaving her bike in and out of traffic which causes angry drivers to yell swears at her. All was good! All was great! Really!

Jemma Simmons has posed:
Jemma was always sort of a teaching sort. She is always more than willing to provide explanation to whatever problem vexes people that day. Always willing to help. Always willing to educate.

So, it probably really be no surprise that Jemma's first introduction to the world was that behind a school desk, in the middle of a science lab, potentially grading some extra credit for a student. It just...made sense. But the school wouldn't have been her choice. Hydra Academy. Right in the middle of the vipers' nest. That didn't necessarily sit with Jemma all that well. But, she learned to adapt. Even when it came to the visit from *them*. From Peggy and May. Who saw her, but did not know Jemma. At least, not the real Jemma. Only the schoolteacher that somehow knew Peggy's daughter. They had asked for her help to find that daughter...and all Jemma could do was find that she had been transferred...and yet that was enough for May, who happened to be scarier here than the real world, if that was possible. But...it gave Jemma an address...and that was good enough for now.

Notes were given. Compared outside...and now, she is back in once more. Having just given a lecture on the wonders of biochemical isotopes, Jemma sits at her desk, when the text arrives. From Daisy....her Daisy. She wanted to go to the Academy? That...is perhaps a little off, but this is Daisy. Jemma wouldn't be able to dissuade her even if she wanted to. So...a text is sent back on the burner phone she has for just this purpose.

< I am here. Let me know when you arrive and I will find a cozy corner. >

After that, it was just a matter of waiting. Jemma already has a place in mind. Her lab will work for this. Precautions already in place within...what she could manage. It will work if it is not too conspicuous.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Ah, yes. Back to the lab. It's a good thing too because she makes a small detour to get some takeout for the three of them. From that favorite place of hers in Hell's Kitchen, the Royal Dragon. Though the names are a bit different than the ones she remembered. Jessica Jones bourbon chicken was replaced by the Hand's Hot Spicy Chicken.. Go figure. And she could almost bet this is some kind of front for a criminal organization. But better not to raise up waves. The food is still good and she gets some generous portions to go.

Eventually she does arrive, checking on her burner and sending a message. < I have arrived. And I bring gifts. >

She sort of knows the academy even if she isn't one of those agents that went through the traditional ways to join in. But she had come a few times to give some lectures on proper computing, some hacking courses. The works ... It had also served as training for her stint on Happy Harbor's School. Something that was on hiatus while they were hunted for the authorities. Ah well, maybe she was never meant to be a teacher..

<The labs? Know where it is. Omw.> She is dressed a lot more discreetly than her usual, jeans and jacket. A cap on her head. At least no shades. But it's enough for most of the students to not recognize her while she wanders in the campus, waiting on the outskirts for Sharon to arrive so they can go on together to visit Jemms.

Sharon Carter has posed:
A few other subtle things that Sharon had noticed while she was picking around her apartment; there was a case there.. for no other reason than..

When Sharon arrives, Daisy wouldn't know it was her. Not right off the bat. A text had gone out to the woman that was waiting, listing off what she was wearing, but didn't really detail on what she looked like.

Her face wasn't her own, thanks to the photostatic veil she had in her arsenal. She didn't really ask or wonder why she had it, but if she did, it was certainly for a damn good reason and she wouldn't leave home without it.

She looked even more plain than she normally does. But this time, with freckles!

"Don't ask." Is all she could say to Daisy, with the hopes that she doesn't freak out and blast her out of the Framework. "I still don't know what's going on with this version of me but.." She was here, and she was ready to see Jemma. And eat, apparently.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"I like the freckles.." Is what Skye says, looking Sharon up and down and then smiling faintly. She knew the other woman had faced something similar to her own seeing Daniel die here, an understanding nod given to her. A muted one, then it was time to move ahead. This version of hers looked a bit different from Daisy too. Not as athletic but unhealthily thin like so many pop stars can be. Clearly not Sporty Spice! Face was just perhaps a bit too pale too which spoke of bad eating habits and most likely drugs as well.

"Are you in Hydra though?" She then asks as they make their way across campus and towards the lab, "I have discovered most of us who go in still have some kind of connection, one way or another. Even if through other means.." like her being a pop star and having a sugar daddy like the Director of Hydra.. It makes her sigh.

The further they go in the more the changes are evident. The more militaristic way. How the students all wander about in identical uniforms. Conversations to a minimum. Hydra propaganda everywhere. Yes indeed they were preparing the future of the country here.

The Hydra way.

"This place gives me the chills. Hope Jemma is holding up well..." specially after her latest ordeal and having been shot by her doppelganger..

The corridor to the labs are found and she leads them there, knocking on the door before walking in..

Sharon Carter has posed:
"Why thank you!" Sharon, in unusual fashion, models a little bit for Daisy. She was twisting from side to side, pulling upon the ends of her jacket like a skirt, then soon straightens up to give Daisy a rather good look. It.. no wonder she got so much food. She must be hungry! But far be it from her to remark on another womans appearance, that would have been downright rude.

"We should probably have the food outside and in some sun." Helpful, really.

"Maybe?" Was Sharon's answer to Daisy's question. "From what I did find, there's ties to both. My guess is though, that I am a ghost. All the documentation I've found was surface details on Hydra and Shield but nothing that we can make sense out of just yet. And the level of spycrafting items I have back at the apartment, I do not think that whatever I was up to was good for anyone. Well, not anyone, myself."

Her lips tighten as she inhales, then slowly blows out from her lips. "Am in the mood for a concert though.." She nudges Daisy, as they move along.

"From what I hear of Jemma, she's sort of like my grandmom. Brit, stiff upper lip, just a downright force of will. Pretty sure she'll hold up better than all of us.." As the knock on the door was had, Sharon steps aside to press her back against the wall, one foot pressed against the wall as both hands sink into her jacket. Not the epitome of cool, but trying to be. And watching their backs on the sly.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
The knock is answered. The door opens, and a familiar face, at least for Daisy, greets the two. "Why hello there! Right on time for our appointment. How splendid. Please, please come in." The pleasant expression, coupled with that prim and proper British accent of Jemma's, seems for all the world that she was expecting this as a parent-teacher conference, rather than the meeting of the minds.

Which lasts about as long as the door to the labs remains open. As soon as it closes, there is a sigh...and an immediate embrace, with Daisy as the target of such. "Oh, it is so good to see you!" And, at least for Sharon, it would appear that this is more the real Jemma. The caring, compassionate side, at least. "I was concerned when you said you wanted to meet here. I had enough time to establish a safe zone of sorts here, but only barely." There was a glance over towards Sharon, which earns her a slightly confused expression that shifts over towards Daisy...then back to Sharon...only for a sudden realization to come over Jemma. "Oh, I see!"

See what? Probably the little tell-tale flicker of the photostatic veil. Maybe...

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Mmmm, freckles and a super spy. Oh my poor heart." Daisy jokes back at Sharon with a brief wink even if those comments about eating out in the sun make her arch a brow before she exhales out, "As Ginny says. Skye Starr is taking too many of those no-no drugs." a groan and she rolls her eyes.

The talk about the concert does make her laugh, "Actually, you may get that sometime soon. If the plan I am concocting goes forward. But I still need more details about all that's going on.."

Which was part of the reason they were here today too!

As the door is opening Skye is commenting to Sharon. "So she's pretty much the same as usual. Great." this about Jemma and how brit she can be when she wants to.

She returns the hug to Jemma, a fierce one. "Hey Jemms." a glance around the labs, then the food being set on a table. "I brought your favorite." old habits die hard.

"Yes, it's Sharon. The superspy." a sagely nod given.

Sharon Carter has posed:
Ick. Superspy. Sharon had a feeling that this particular version of a super-spy was just downright horrid..

"Hopefully while you were asleep, this version of you had been taking her daily dose of.. whatever she's on.." It would be rough, watching someone go through detox. She's seen it before and it was no picnic. But just when Sharon was about to remark about the impending concert, the door opens, which has Sharon moving seemlessly from the wall and into the lab. And she stands there.

Watching the two embrace until the focus was on her, her eyes squint and then grin as Jemma finally sees.. or at least knows that it is her! "This.." Sharon gestures around, stepping away from the two. "..this is all weird." No shit. "A lot different from watching on the outside.. it all feels real." Her jaw tenses, but that was going to be the only complaint she has. Lord knows, she wanted to go all out on the complaints to the two women, but they have work to do.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"Oh, you have no idea..." The comment is delivered to Sharon as Jemma offers that warm smile her direction. When, with a wink, she takes a finger and circles her own face. "I love the addition of the lentigines." Leave it to Jemma to not use the simple term of 'freckles' in polite conversation. Then, a polite chuckle as those brown eyes see past those freckles, to the person underneath the veil. "I had to grade final exams. That was a delightful experience." Despite Jemma's straight tone when she said it....the underlying current of sarcasm is most certainly there.

Then...the food smells hit the lab...and Jemma shakes her head with a laugh. "If there was any need for proof that you are Daisy, the fact that you brought food would be all that I would need." Not that it is real. Of course Jemma knows that none of this is truly real, at least in whatever arbitrary sense she is using. But...damn if that food doesn't smell like it is supposed to. And the countertops feel appropriate. Sounds, taste, touch...all the senses covered in this damnable simulation. If it fools the mind so, it might as well be considered real. Eyes take in the take-out. "Well...I recognize that smell anywhere, but the name is certainly a new twist. Not a satisfactory one, either, I would add." Still, it is food. And Jemma never did pass up the offer of food before.

A pair of stools are slid out, for Daisy and Sharon to take. Jemma herself remains standing. After all, it is her usual method of operation. Of course, she does stand at the head of the classroom, considering how practiced she is at this point. "Well, then. Shall we get this little conference underway? I do apologize for that minor ruse at the doorway. That was just for show, you know."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Yes, it was certainly a different ..., experience." Getting that food apparently. Daisy had almost been tempted to visit a certain lawyer's apartment and check how different it was but .., better not to press things. Besides, if she started acting too far different from Skye suspicions could arise. Specially as Hydra does seem to be paranoid as all heck. But food exists to be shared and so Daisy starts doing just that, opening the bags to distribute to boxes to both Sharon and Jemma.

"And it does feel so .., real, doesn't it?" She says in agreement to Sharon. "We know it is a simulation and even so..." all these feelings, the way the food tasted or even how she could feel pain or happiness.. It was uncanny. "I can only imagine how the others will be feeling. The ones trapped and not knowing this is not ..., real." a pause. "Makes me wonder what is real and isn't..." but philosophical discussions will be held later!

Beause right now they have to plan, and talk. "So, as you are aware I am with Holden. And he has a connection to Fitz. Apparently they are working together in some project in Hydra." she takes in a breath. "And I believe it's related to Inhumans.." a look to Sharon and then back. "When they took Afterlife they mentioned bringing subjects for Fitz to work on. After they destroyed the place..."

She settles down on the bench. "Have you two figured out anything further so far?"

Sharon Carter has posed:
"Why thank you!" Sharon says, once again, gripping her jacket to do a spin as if she were in a dress. For some reason, this particular Sharon loves doing that jacket grabby spin, or maybe this was just her doing it. "I am curious as to what the exams look like.." What exactly do they teach at Hydra Academy? Is it a reverse history compared to what's taught now? "Real as in.. gods the water pressure in that apartment. You two have -no- idea how many years I've lived with crappy water pressure and to have that?" She would swoon, but she doesn't. "I almost want to stay because of it."

As the stools are slid out for her and Daisy to settle, Sharon does, now quiet. She was thinking, at least.. or staring down one of the boxes of food, recalling what she's mentioned to Daisy before.

They -know- its a simulation.
They -know- its not real.
Can they alter it by sheer force of will alone?

Sharon snaps out of her reverie to pay attention, sliding a box toward herself so that she can open and begin to pick through it. Maybe turn whatever bits of chicken into beef. It was worth a shot.

Bend the spoon.

"No. But we've been stationary for too long and it's making me uncomfortable. I need to tap into some people who aren't already in the Framework or interested to go to get them on guard."

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"Well, I do not exactly remember if I told you here or elsewhere..." elsewhere being the real world "...but it seems that, at one point, this Simmons was the science teacher of a Melinda Carter-Sousa. Which means I have access to the family contacts for Melly...and to one Margaret Carter-Sousa." There is a pause...as Jemma barely touches the food. "They were here, you know. Peggy and May. May is a HYDRA Commander. They were asking about Melly and seemed awfully on edge. Apparently, they are trying to locate her. She was transferred from the school sometime before my arrival to this particular existence." A utensil is picked up...but idly played with. "They bristled at some of my hints. Particularly, when I used the phrase 'worlds away.' And May...May was considerably more dangerous than normal. Which...is saying something."

Jemma stops speaking, just long enough to procure a morsel of food and fork it in. Then...another tidbit of information. "They seemed particularly intent on me not sharing the information with anyone in HYDRA command. If I would venture to guess, I would say that they intend on freeing Ms. Carter-Sousa from whatever program she was transferred to and then leaving. The involuntary responses of what I saw with my conversation is that they were at least familiar with the possibility that there may be another world, but were very suspicious of anyone mentioning of such. As if they did not believe it to be true. It was actually easier to read Peggy than May. Though...May does not seem to have her empathic abilities here, which is certainly both a blessing and a curse. It would have been much easier to convince her of the truth if she could sense it from me."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"We saw .., something related to that." About the kids. "May appears to be a double agent of sorts. She ..., killed Daniel here." she lets that sink in. "And I have no idea how she reacted on seeing a new, live one again. But if anything she appears to be wanting to protect Peggy from .., Hydra? There's still a lot I am not aware of." she mentions.

"But for some reason Hydra is after them, or the kids at least." A frown. "Maybe they are Inhuman here? At least we have seen them being hunted relentlessly in this reality." it would make sense.

A nod goes to Sharon. "We may need to tap into our contacts for it. Agents are running thin already, and this mission is taxing already with how many Agents we need to have here. If this simulation, AIDA, has contact to the exterior she could very well bring about Hydra agents to where we are in the real world." a scary prospect.

A mischievous grin then comes to Daisy's expression when Jemma speaks of it being easier to convince May if she had her powers. "See, you are going right to where I was wanting to. They must have terrigen crystals somewhere. Either in the Illiad, or at Fitz's laboratory. And I may just have the right distraction to enable us to get the crystals." she says, a look shared between the other two.

"A concert. By none other than Skye Starr." A smirk.

Sharon Carter has posed:
Aside from the food being amazing; there were things that Sharon has missed and that she's now catching up on. "Wonder if I could find her.." Sharon idly muses aloud. She still is searching for her status in this oddball world. But Sharon keeps eating, just in case. Making sure that appearances are all kept up if there were a window to spy them in, now tapping her fork against the counter top which.. could have been unsanitary. But knowing Jemma, she kept the lab morgue fresh.

"Was there any idea if Gran.. Daniel was Inhuman here?" She asks of Daisy and Jemma. Perhaps they wanted Melinda to leverage against Peggy..

"When I get back I'll start. Any and everybody, right?" Sharon smiles beneath her facade, then eyes dart back down to her food. Food which, was pushed aside. Cause there was a feeling of joy at hearing what Daisy had said. The concert? Added bonus. But a heist?

"-Count- me in. I love a good ol' fashioned heist." Did Sharon sound proud? Too happy? Yes. Extremely happy, so much so that it was concerning. Already her hands were rubbing together with thoughts of -how- to infiltrate and get in to get what was needed. Hot damn.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
Oh, there are no worries in the lab. It is as clean as it can possibly be.

But...when Daisy suggests an infiltration, Jemma's own reaction isn't happy, like the granddaughter of Carter and Sousa seems to be. No, it was more concerned. "In here, I am a middle school science teacher. Not that it is a terrible calling by any measure, but it is certainly one without the levels of access that would be of use for a manner such as that." There is a momentary pause for consideration...then the Brit continues. "I also sincerely doubt that the world would believe that a mid-level science teacher would somehow know a pop idol, much less be friends with one."

"Speaking of which..." Jemma turns towards Daisy. "Skye Starr? Really? I find that dreadfully amusing. I supposed we should be grateful it was not something like Starry Skye, or Midnight Skye, or something like that. I suppose you haven't quite hit single name fame status here, yet. I suppose that is of some comfort." Oh, yes, Jemma is teasing Daisy. But it is only a light prodding. All in good fun.

"This does go without saying. However...whatever help I can provide, you have but to ask."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"I thought you might have some kind of in with Fitz in this world." Daisy says to Jemma, thoughtful. "Would help in researching on where those crystals are at. But that's not for just yet, needing to do a lot of groundwork first.." she letting out a soft sigh right after. She does note Sharon's enthusiasm and laughs. "So that's the secret to make you happy? Heists?" she digs into her food for a little longer.

"I kinda like Midnight Skye." Daisy admits with a grin, "I should ask Ginny to change my name to that." a beat, "That's my manager..." because all stars need one!

"And no idea about Daniel. But last we saw he was with Peggy at her place so..." She considers, looking at Sharon. "Maybe you should go to their place, try to talk to them. One more person along with Daniel corroborating his version could help with convincing them of the truth." she suggests.

Gaze then returns to Jemms. "And maybe you should look into getting in with Fitz? I mean, there's no way you two wouldn't know each other in this world. Your bond is sort of like .., you know." well, Daisy is pretty sure Jemma *doesnt* know. She and Fitz are the only two that don't know!

Sharon Carter has posed:
"It's not that far fetched, Jemma. You two could have grown up together." Sharon offers. Once the initial excitement has died down, Sharon resumes eating, this time taking it a lot slower to savor, or maybe change the taste. As Jemma lists off the names, Sharon was adding in her opinion. "Blue Ivy Skye. Dark Skye.. Red Skye.. an assortment of colors Skye.."

Back to eating again, her hand lifting to cover her mouth to hide the food-filled grin that she has. "Mmhmm." She says, before swallowing. "Yes, that and burgers. Magnificent, cheesy, bacony, oniony, sloppy burgers. Burgers that taste like heart attacks."

She's quiet now, and for some odd reason, Sharon flits her eyes to the corner. It was a habit, imagining Daniel and Peggy there in the corner, where she usually keeps watch or just stands over them. Arms folded. "You want to know what's strange?" Sharon mutters.. "I haven't spent much time with either of them, at all. Especially since we all went home to see my dad." Her lips twist faintly. "Something happened I think." She shakes her head now with a sigh, pushing the plate nearer to Jemma and Daisy. A subtle hint that she wanted a bit of their food, so that the -real- stress eating can commence.

"I'll go there, no problem." She says, then looks Jemma and then Daisy. "Are they dating? Are you two dating? Not here, I mean out there. Are you two a thing?" Sharon was kidding, of course, but her straight face deftly hides this.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"Well, I do have the address for your grandmother in this reality. So it would not be all that difficult to point you in the right direction. Though I would warn you that she is already on edge in regards to something. I would tread carefully." Jemma slides a bit of her take-out box out to the middle, closer towards Sharon's plate. It is an invitation, as clear as any spoken word. And, classic Simmons. Daisy always gets extra, anyways.

As far as childhood friends..."I suppose that would work. The growing up together. Though, have you heard Daisy's attempt at a British accent?" Again, a sly little smile sneaks out. "Though, honestly, I am sure we could come up with a rather solid explanation. Should we need to."

The talk shifts to Fitz...and his role here. "Really, Daisy, I am not sure what sort of connection I would have with Leo here. If from what little I have been able to research is any indication, he is rather not the Fitz I would know." An almost remorseful quality lingers in that voice of Simmons, insightful certainly, but definitely sad. "I have not seen any sort of relation between the two as of yet. And really, if I am being perfectly honest, he frightens me in this world. Something terribly wrong happened here to cause him to be such...and I am afraid to find out what." A noticeable shiver runs down the length of Jemma's spine. "And, if he is as dark as what I have seen in May, then I fear what we will find with the others trapped here. At...at least Peggy is recognizable."

Wait...what? Dating? "Dating? Us? You have got to be kidding. Just imagine how awkward work would be!"

Yes, everyone else might know, but Daisy is right. Jemma and Leo do not. Poor unfortunate souls.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Sharing food?! Mmmm, fine... Besides, this Skye doesn't seem to be as hungry as Daisy is. And so thin that she is too! So weird. But it's all about how healthy one is.. But sharing is caring, so Sharon gets part of her food too. "And yea, we are spies. We can figure out an excuse. Once we figure out more about who we are in this world.." then she quirks a brow, mimicing Jemma's stiff lip and lifting her chin. "I must tell you that I am absolutely posh and ready to make a british accent, my dear Jemma." no, she isn't. She is butchering the thing! She is as american as it gets. Or well, half-american. You know ...

"So, burgers and heists. Sound easy enough." She tells back to Sharon with a toothy grin.

Yet with the talk going to Fitz she also gets a touch more serious, "Yes, he .., doesn't sound like he is the same we know." the kind-hearted Fitz. "Maybe you studied together? I mean, you are the same age, you must have gone through .., Hydra Academy at the same time, right?" it makes sense! "Something to look into.."

"Nothing wrong about dating work colleagues.." Daisy comments oh-so-casually. Yes, there had been that famous Ward-Daisy affair a few years back. It also had ended explosively.

But in the end she goes back to an initial topic, of when Sharon spoke about *more* names for Skye. "You two are jealous because I am such a star..." she even flicks her hair, vainly. Well, she certainly appears to be getting well into the role of pop star diva! But she winks in the end to show she is joking.

Sharon Carter has posed:
"I'll take it." Still, there is a wonder to what she was here. Did she even exist for her grandmother? She would probably have to pull footage from the Playground and figure out a way to bring it here as proof.. perhaps the only time they were ever seen on camera together. "I'll figure out an approach, for sure." Gears were already turning.. even as she mindlessly takes a bit of Jemma and Daisy's food.

"I haven't heard it, but it's easy to explain away. She moved at the age of twelve and lost her accent." Jemma's reaction to her and Fitz just only has her grinning, careful to not show a mouth full of food to the ladies. "Pretty sure now you'd have to sign some waiver or whatever with HR though.." Do they? Sharon was kidding.

"Oh, finding out who you are here is going to be easy. Hell, your information just landed right in our laps." A singer, at that! And a possible sugar-baby to boot! This was hilarious! And.. frightening.

But.. back to Fitz again. "Were you able to see him, Daisy? Up close, I mean.."

Back to the naming and jealous, Sharon -had- to admit that she was! "Yes! I mean.. granted this version of you has a roaring drug habit I think, but who wouldn't want to be rich? Though.. ask my dad, money doesn't solve everything and it's the root of all evil.." She purses her lips. "When I get back to my 'apartment'," Sharon even does the fingers. "I think I'm going to sneak a peek at your financials." She wriggles in her chair, then takes a bite of her food. "And mine for that matter.."

That last bit was mumbled.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
"Well, really. Dating? I don't know." That inflection though? That, coupled with that thousand-yard stare that Jemma has adopted, can only mean one thing. She is thinking about it. Is there really something there? That thought is chased off with a shaking of the scientist's head. "Regardless, we need to focus on this world. We can worry about the other one when we get everyone extracted safely." And, with that, Jemma dodges the thought, in perhaps much of the same manner she has avoided those kinds of thoughts before.

"Right, then. Researching our Skye here will be simple. We can find a tie for me there if we need to. Or, if all else fails, we can perhaps use a little subterfuge and I can pose as Skye's personal physician. Use the drug angle to our advantage, if nothing else." Jemma pushes on through, brainstorming as she goes. "Though, knowing my weaknesses, staying as close to the truth will help with my improvisational skills. However, there is nothing that states that it has to be the truth as stated by this simulacrum."

Then, to Sharon. "I would be careful, going to Peggy's house. There is a definite link with May...and we all know how dangerous she can be. We need to tread lightly with trying to promote the idea of this being a virtual construct or we may find ourselves permanently a part of it."

Then....self reflection. "As for me. I have my own place. I will check what this digital duplicate's history is and see if there is anything that can be used to facilitate a meet and greet with the esteemed Doctor. Or, how faithful this particular Simmons is to the cause. Now that finals are over and school is about to be let out for a break, I can pass off the research time as preparatory work for any potential summer courses, which means we can meet somewhere else than the middle of a school laboratory."

"We all have each others' number in this cyberscape. We can keep in touch. And...once we wake up from here, we can talk more."

TThen...one final thought. "Just...be careful." Even in virtual space, Jemma is going to worry. At least that hasn't changed.
