Cast of Characters: Frederick Foswell, Cael Becker

Frederick Foswell has posed:
The Sons of The Dragon were one of Chinatown's most notorius gangs. These street racers and dope peddlers owned a big portion of Chinatown, and jealously guarded their turf the same way a dragon guards it's hoard. For years the FBI suspected them of having ties to local triad groups, but lack any actually evidence to prove their case. In the meantime, The Sons spent most of their time peddling opium and heroin and boosting high performance cars, both for sale overseas and in the surprisingly lucrative world of street racing. Street Racing is a very big part of Son's culture. In fact, your social status within the Gang depended on what type of car you were rolling in and how many races you won. Within the Sons, there was no better racer than Tommy Chow.

Tommy Chow, the son of two Taiwanese immigrant's, was famous in the street racing scene for his undefeated streak, which has remained unbroken since Tommy was 16. Today was his 21st birthday and the Sons lieutenant was celebrating it at his parent's home in Long Island, which happened to be in a high class suburb in Long Island.

If you were to walk into the neighborhood, you would see flashy, high performance vehicles parked up and down the streets, with a whole bunch of them parked outside of a very humble looking two story house. Out on the lawn of this house was a large group of men dressed in red and gold, the Sons colors. Loud music filled the air alongside laughter and conversation as they celebrated Tommy's birthday

Cael Becker has posed:
And while this celebration is going on - one more car pulls up, parking along the street with a brief (and completely unnecessary) roar of engines. The car in question is a heavily midified Chevrolet Corvette C6 which has begun showing up in some of the races over the last few months, raced by a woman calling herself 'Brin' and making a respectable showing. She hasn't won all of her races, but she's certainly been a contender - and Johnny Jing seems to have brought her along as his date, as he gets out the other side of the car and moves towards her - wrapping an arm around the woman's waist and pulling her in. And if his hand wanders a little south to her rear? That's all part of the fun.
The pair approach the lawn, with Johnny shouting out greetings to his friends in a mix of English and Chinese - though Brin shows no comprehension of any Chinese spoken.
"Man. Nice digs," 'Brin' remarks as they approach the house - her gaze taking in the front of the house, before focusing on the people outside it.

Frederick Foswell has posed:
As you and your date got closer to the house, you were able to pick up more and more of the conversations that were floating through the air. They mostly concerned things like the newest cars, big shot street racers, and other vehicular topics. However, one phrase stands out,

"Man! I can't believe that the Big Man is trying to get those Bastard of Charon freaks in on his operation."

However, before this can fully sink in, you are greeted by a familiar Brooklynn accent,

"Hey Brin! How's it goin."

It was Vinnie Scarlouso. a Dragon's member and a big street racer himself. He was currently clad in a red and gold t-shirt and was wearing a necklace with a golden dragon on it. Vinnie's greeting is soon follwed by Vinnie and two other Sons, a fat Asian man wearing a red tank-top, and a scrawnier Caucasian man in a red and gold hoodie walking up to you and high-fiving you and Johnny. The fat man then says,

"Should've figured day engine was yours. Whose your mechanic man? I gotta give him a shot for my ride.

Cael Becker has posed:
"Oh, you know," Brin answers Vinnie with a large grin that gives a much more coherent answer than her actual words. She moves away from Johnny to approach the man, slapping her hand into his, and giving a nod to the other two sons.
"Oh, Pris does all my work," she supplies. Priscella Devnet. But //no one// gets away with calling her Priscella. "I haven't found anyone I trust more, to be honest. Hope no one minds me showing up like this," she adds. I mean - given that she hardly knows the 'Birthday boy' and all. But is that really what these sorts of parties are about?
"What mods are you thinking of doing?"

Frederick Foswell has posed:
The Fat Man cackles and says,

"Nothin too special ya know? I just want somethin that can make me go faster ya dig." The other two men nod in agreement with him. If there was anything the Sons loved more than high performance vehicles, it was vehicles with high horse power.

Suddenly, a engine roars across the neighborhood as a heavily modified Lamborghini pulls up in front of the house and the man of the hour himslef, Tommy Chow walks out. ll the gangers present begin to cherr and yell out for the birthday boy, who appears to have a date with him.

Cael Becker has posed:
"Starting with a cold air intake is never a bad place," Brin remarks towards the man - flashing him a brief smile. She's no mechanic, but she knows enough about what mods you need, and what they achieve, to make conversant, informed decisions.
Her attention turns to studying the approaching car with an appraising eye - it's certainly a flashy vehicle, and for good cause - as she joins the others in cheering the man's arrival with a cheery, "Hey Tommmy!" and a bit of applause. The girl at his side gets a brief glance as well. After all, coming in as the arm-candy is a good way to be easily overlooked. It wasn't a mistake she ended to make.

Frederick Foswell has posed:
Tommy seemingly soaks in the praise with a cocky smile on his face. Suddenly, he looks at you, asi if finally hearing your greeting. He then lets out a slightly cocky smile as he suddenly struts towards you while saying,

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Brin. Yoou gave me a good race last night. But, not even your ride can best mine."

Cael Becker has posed:
Brin puts one hand onto her hip - her own cocky smile quirking her lips to one side. "All admit, you've got some game," she agrees. "And the best ride money can buy. But I've a few more tricks planned out," she counters. "We'll have to wait and see how the next race turns out, hrm?"
The cocky smile turns into a much broader smile as she adds, "But //damn// if I didn't enjoy the challenge. If it hadn't been for that motorcycle...!"

Frederick Foswell has posed:
Tommy sneers at you, obviously not buying your act. He then laughs haughtily as he says to you,

"We'll see party girl, we'll see."

He then walks off to join the rest of the Sons at the party

Cael Becker has posed:
Was it bad that - for a moment in the race - she'd considered not swerving to miss that motorcycle?
Yeah. Yeah it probably was, damnit.
Brin watches the man strut off, an amused smile pulling at her lips. "I suppose he expected me to fawn over him?" she asks - perhaps rhetorically. "Meh. I guess I couldda. It is the guy's birthday." Just not her style, is all.
