Cast of Characters: Jessica Drew, Daisy Johnson

Jessica Drew has posed:
There are a lot of myths about super-powered people and mutants like herself. The universal laws of physics still apply. Everyone has to overcome entropy. Every one. Some people just start from a better place than others. You still have to work to keep in shape.

Jessica swarms up the rope carrying her weight hanging from belts suspended over her shoulders. It's not exactly your standard exercise, but most people can't swarm up a wall quite the way she does. Getting back down is not too difficult. A leap or just reversing direction with her ability to stick to things doesn't pose a problem.

At the top, among the metal girders of the room, she is a black shadow in her form-fitting lycra shorts and top. The Agent stops to flex her wrists; they've been sore since the mission under the building where Agent Johnson saved the day. The docs had checked her out and have required her to check in every few days. Not many people survive terragenesis without manifesting some change. It was better than outright dying. Right? The pain in her wrists was starting to annoy her.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy had read those reports. The terrigenesis that had affected a certain member of the team. Sure, she already knew that Jess was a mutant of some kind. But to be an Inhuman? That had been a surprise. Or maybe not so much. Regardless it went right towards her objective here today. The one she had been assigned by Fury, to assemble a team. The Secret Warriors.

She was dressed in uniform. Which meant black and blue, boots. No training gear! It was not her intent here, steps bringing her into the room and her dark eyes searching before she realizes that she should always check the ceilings too. A smirk on her lips.

"My bad not having immediately looked up when I got in here." She says up to Jessica while she is still up there. She folds her arms together, resting a shoulder against a wall and waits.

It had been a trying time for them all during the attacks on the skyscraper and the city, and in fact her features looked a touch exhausted, eyes sunken in. But other than that? She looked just fine. Of course that it had already been a couple of weeks since it happened.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Crouched like her namesake on a girder, Jessica frowns, peering down. It's warmer up here than on the ultra-air conditioned room below. After shaking out her wrist, she leans upside down, "It's a great place to hide, Agent. My getaway when there is too much paperwork. Do you need anything, Agent Johnson?"

The cramping amplifies on her way down the rope, Jess stops once, not sure she can hold on. She pulls back her long sleeved shirt to examine each wrist, and sees open holes on the tender undersides. Keeping an expletive to herself, she reaches the floor. "Good morning. What's up?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"You can do it like me and just ignore it." Daisy says, always the rebel. "I found out it's -less- paperwork to acknowledge being admonished by a superior than actually doing paperwork. Just can't do that trick too often." she explains, watching as the other Agent starts moving down. She furrows her brows at that examination. "Still feeling the effects of our last mission?" she questions, some worry on her tone. "And you can call me Daisy."

She gestures for them to walk a bit. "Come, I wanted to talk with you about a few things.." she says, "Namely..., I saw the report that you had come in contact with terrigenesis." a beat, eyes going up and down the woman's figure. "How have you been feeling? Any different?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
Default mode for Jessica would be to button up and not say a word about pain or doubts. That's the fallout she deals with from being a lab experiment and a Hydra test subject. For a while keeping info to herself gave her a sense of control.

"Good strategy, I'll try it out. Old habit. Daisy. Jess, right? Most people call me that unless they're upset." She flashes the agent a smile while still trying to decide if she'll come clean, then makes a decision. Flipping her hands over and stretching out her arms pulls the shirt back from her wrists, reddened holes have dug themselves into the delicate flesh. Despite the redness, they look functional and surprisingly like they belong.

"Um, yeah. This." She scrutinizes herself, muttering, "Damned if I know what's happening. I have this wild idea but..." She shrugs.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Oh yea?" Then Daisy quirking a brow up with curiosity, "What do they call you if they are mad at you? Asking for a friend.." a wink then given at the other woman, perhaps trying to be comforting at what the other woman may be going through. Something -she- has gone through in the past when she went through her own terrigenesis. She perhaps notes that indecision but makes no comment, instead continuing on along with Jessica though pausing when she comes to that decision of revealing the marks on her wrists.

Brows furrow together in thought, looking at them but when she talks it's without hesitation. "It's your terrigenesis." she tells her, a smile coming to her features. "Your powers being manifested." she reaches out to place a hand on Jess's shoulder if she lets her. "You do not have to hide those. You are one of us." her tone as if she was fully sure of herself.

"You should travel with me to Afterlife when next I go visit. My mother should get to meet you, and the others."

Jessica Drew has posed:
It's one thing to suspect something, a thought nagging at the back of your head. Her mouth opens in an unvoiced exclamation as she looks at her wrists with surprise. It's another thing to hear someone comment on your secret thoughts quite matter-of-factly.

"You make it sound. I don't know. Normal? Okay?" She searches Daisy's face, letting her own vulnerability show, unusual for her. "I think." She starts again. "I think I can make webs."

Now, her face does redden. "I got stuck to my sheets this morning. I have absolutely no control over it." A beat. "Yet. I'd like to go." Jess holds her hands up, "Do you think they could help?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Indeed for Daisy there seems to be no doubt. But then again she has always been open about those matters. No secrets! And where it comes to Inhumans? She seems to be in support of them 100%. "It is normal, and okay. And well, it's also awesome of course." a little grin in the end there.

"I will help you." She then says, "Controlling your powers. The same way that those in Afterlife can. If you so wish. I know what it's like going through this..." she had been quite the explosive little Quake during those first times! No control over her vibrations.

"But this also goes right to what I wanted to talk with you about." Her tone taking more serious connotations, more responsible. "I am currently forming a team. Of people like us. Inhumans or not, with powers and in SHIELD. People that are willing to fight for those mutants or inhumans that are persecuted but also face against powered threats that may endanger those we protect." she explains. "This is something that is coming from above." not that she says *who* gave her this mandate. Not yet at least. "And I want you to be a part of it. Of those Secret Warriors in SHIELD."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Offers of help, unsolicited help requires thought on Jessica's part. Old habits lurk in the back of her head. Certain people can walk right through those barriers. Daisy knows what it's like to be different in a world of normal people, albeit unusually intelligent and driven ones that make up the ranks of SHIELD.

"A team?" She echoes, examining Daisy's open face with surprise. "Would we be the Super Power Hit squad? The Inhumans?" It's the first time Jessica has said that word and included herself in the group. "Secret Warriors, huh? Concentrating us into a unit when need be?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"A team." Daisy confirms with a nod of her head, then a chuckle out at the suggestion of names. "Secret Warriors, actually. Or at least that's the name of the project." she tells the other, "But not only Inhumans. Instead those powered ones who are fit to face these threats. Yes, there are lot of superhero groups out there already, but it's time for SHIELD to have one as well. For us to show there we are not to live in fear, and that we are out there to help everyone."

"And indeed concentrating us into a unit is how I believe we will work best. Similar to STRIKE." the elite team that was sent at a moment's notice to the most dangerous of missions.

"So, what do you think?" She then asks with an hopeful grin on her expression.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Opening her hands in an expansive gesture, Jess smiles, saying, "How could I say no to that? I mean, it would be an honor to do that. An honor to be able to say to the world that we want to help despite our differences and because of them."

The smile becomes faintly impish, "Do we get capes?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"As someone wiser than me said a long time ago ..., NO CAPES!" A grin on Daisy's expression and she lets out a laugh, "And good, it's great to have you in."

"I will talk to you soon about visiting Afterlife. Talk with Bobbi and May too if you want about your newfound powers. They will also be part of the team. Any other questions you got for me?" She asks.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Gosh. No capes. Oh, you know. Like, when do we start?" The grin transforms into a more serious expression, "I hope we get to go to Afterlife soon, Daisy. I'll be a lot more effective on the team."
