Daisy Johnson has posed:
It's been a while since Inferno, or Dante, were captured on the beaches of Madeira, having fallen victim to a mysterious virus that had also then affected the rest of the Inhuman crew at SHIELD. Many questions were still hanging in the air...

And Daisy was aiming to get some answers.

For that purpose she sent notice to Blackagar inviting him to New Afterlife to spend some time with the rest of the Inhumans here on Earth, to get to know them. But oh, she had questions of her own to make.

She had arrived earlier along with a SHIELD Quinjet. A few more supplies for the people at New Afterlife, most of the crates already out and she wandering the place, making conversation with an Inhuman here and there. It does seem like she is starting to know most of the ones that live here now.

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
New Afterlife had been a blessing in many ways. It was a concern as well. Blackbolt had visited quietly a few times, doing so without drawing attention to himself as this was a tenuous time between the groups. Three entities in existence that were in many ways feeling each other out.

The invitation from Daisy had been received and when the time was appointed, he arrived at the location. No travel by quinjet, instead he simply descends from the sky, surrounded by the hued blue glow of electron energy about him providing the method of flight. Booted feet fall on the ground and he steps smoothly across the grass as if he had simply strolled out of the forest a few paces before. Spotting a nearby Inhuman, one he recognizes, an arm is clasped in greeting with a smile offered. Many here do not know the royal sign, or even the earth-based ones, so Blackagar has brought his slate to write upon, asking about the location of Daisy and upon being directed towards her, starting in that direction.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Blackagar's arrival certainly doesn't go unnoticed, a few pointing in his direction while he comes strolling out of the forest. Others approaching. Some clasping hands, others remaining away, watching warily, all of it still new to them. Yet there was already a buzz-buzz about the camp that the Inhuman King was around. Their King though? Or only Moon's? That was yet to be decided, but so far it was noticeable that not everyone felt like bowing to the Moon's royalty, no matter how much Jiaying was an apologist to such.

Daisy isn't too far once Blackagar gets directions to go and meet her, one of the Inhumans being most helpful by shifting his arms into clay that he forms into directions for the King to follow. So helpful!

Daisy turns to look at Blackagar's approach and lifts one hand in greeting before making her way over, "Good to see you." she offers the man a smile. "I hope Dante is recovering well?" she then asks him, hands brushing over the front of her jeans.

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
Blackagar certainly doesn't have expectations of the Earth Inhumans to treat him as any sort of monarch, tentative of exerting such pressure or expectations on others. Even if some do treat him that way, he accepts it with humility but never makes such demands. Thus his blue eyes sparkle with gentle compassion as he takes time to listen to some speak to him, to greet him, express their gratitude or ask his thoughts about their situation. It does take some minutes, but it is part of the role he carries.

Arriving at Daisy, however, his hands lift slowly and he signs, doing so in a slightly slower manner than he might usually to allow her time to process and translate. ~It is good to see you as well Luna. I believe he is recovering, the virus did a much more significant amount of damage to him than it did to me. But with time, I believe he will be able to return to his normal self, although the memories of what has occurred may sit with him for some time. And yourself? How are you fairing?~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
A brow arches just so at the slow gestures. Is she amused? "I have been practicing ..." but with whom?! That bears question. And when she replies with gestures of her own they do come out a bit more polished than they last left their teachings. Which, granted, it hadn't been a long time teaching. Clearly she has been giving it a try though! There might be clues though, like she being rather close to a certain Jane who is quite proficient with the language!

Expression does sober up some at the talk about Dante, some worry displayed on her expression. "He gave us quite the scare while in recovery. Good that he is slowly returning to normal." If one could be normal after all that happened. "And you? Have *you* returned to normal?" she asks.

As for herself? "Good. Well, better now. Were you informed about what happened back in SHIELD? Some remnants of the virus affected some of us.." she unconsciously reaches up to rub the back of her neck. Backstabby Jemma stabbed her there to subdue her! "But we have mostly been returning to normal too. Well, sort of. SHIELD is *never* normal as you know."

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
Noting the improvement in Daisy's signing and processing, Blackagar lifts an eyebrow with a slight smirk. He has his suspicions, but he won't put a proverbial voice to them. Instead, he simply continues to carry on as if nothing is out of the ordinary. ~I have been feeling more of myself. Out of an abundance of caution, I have been staying relatively isolated. Losing control of myself is a far more dangerous proposition than others. In addition, I returned to Attilan for them to conduct an examination for our own data and records.~

When she indicates that the others have been suffering, a look of surprise crosses his features, ~I did not know that. You are all alright? Was it a less impactful exposure than what I or Dante experienced?~ While waiting for her to respond, he looks around with his blue gaze. ~This place is a necessary part of things.~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
A nod is given when Blackagar speaks about having gone back to Attilan to search their data on the virus, "Did you find anything on your records about this virus?" she then asks, arms folding over her chest before she shakes her head so slowly.

"Not as serious as you. We were ..., angry. More than losing control." Lips pressing to a thin line, "But were close to losing it." she lets out a sigh, shaking her head a touch to herself. "I am just unsure on why now.." she then finally confesses. "Why that virus appeared now, was it Hydra? We just don't know it yet.."

That last comment has her looking over to the rest of the encampment. A word used in it seems to perk her curiosity though. "Necessary?" eyes returning to Blackagar.

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
~Those with gifts of research are working through the records to see if there are any correlating records, it will take them some time~ Blackagar informs Daisy through his signs, thoughtful expression. He looks at her, then with a small tilt of his head, begins to start to walk leading away from the main areas and towards the outskirts of the village.

~I had gone with Jane to investigate a location where Attilan had informed me that they had monitored what seemed to be a Kree signal. While in this region, we witnessed nothing but it was shortly after that I began to have my symptoms. I am surmising that this could have been a potential source. Although how it could infect others I do not know unless there were others.~ The explanation is done away since there is hesitancy and uncertainty. ~Attilan is looking into if rather than an Earth-based origin if it may perhaps be the Kree in some method.~

He let that linger a moment then stops walking, turning to look around them and finally settling that gaze on Daisy. ~It is necessary because there is a gap. There has always been a gap, between the Inhumans of Attilan and the Inhumans of Earth. Afterlife has served to fill this gap as a crossroads.~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy starts wandering along, keeping up with Blackagar as they make their way through the camp, over the outskirts, expression continuing in a pensive one, considering what is being said, and the information that's shared about the virus itself. "Kree.." She echoes the word. "I have been hearing that word a lot as of late. But what do they want with *us*?" she then asks. A small frown appears on her expression. "I know they have an involvement with who we are but .., thought they were leaving us well off alone."

When Blackagar stops Daisy does the same. A gap? "A gap created by whom though?" she gestures about them. "Afterlife is gone now. It's New Afterlife, maybe it's time for the relation between the Inhumans up on the moon and the ones on earth to change too."

There's a pause for a moment, she watching Blackagar's expression before finally adding, "Yet you did mention a .., difference between the two groups when we first met. Are you talking of something genetic?"

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
~There are legends? Prophecies may be a better word regarding the Kree. Our people believe that the Kree fear us because we will ultimately bring about their destruction,~ Blackagar explains, managing a small smile at Daisy as they walk. ~There is more but it is kept rather closely held. I am hesitant to put too much burden upon the rest of you. But at the least, you should know, that while they have left us alone there is always the chance they decide to come back to claim us or to destroy us.~

When Daisy speaks of the gap, he nods slowly. ~On Attilan, our lineage is guided by the genetic council to attain certain aspects when terrigenesis occurs. For lack of a better term, we are specifically bred to purpose in some cases. Not all, but some. The way I would consider it is thus. The Inhumans of the earth have Inhuman ancestors somewhere. On Attilan /all/ our ancestors are Inhuman. I do not like the term pure-blood, but it is one that others have used in the past. For myself, I do not believe there should be any distinguishing characteristics. I find such concepts abhorrent. But there /are/ those who feel that way.~ He considers some, shaking his head.

~Beyond that though is the fact that Afterlife serves as the bridge between this life and the life among Attilan. It is a way to not ask our people to have two loyalties.~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
The talk about lineage makes Daisy turn her nose a bit. But is that surprising? Probably not, "Ah yes, the good ol' true blood theory." but at least she does refrain from rolling her eyes. "My other had told me that there are times in which the powers simply ..., appear. Or rather, that some do become Inhuman because there will be need for them in the future.", a beat, "But she believes in all that old mysticism, as she has been around for, well, ages.. Granted, I didn't really buy it at the start but .., somethings do make me think she might be right.."

Her shoulders do raise up in a shrug though, as if she hasn't yet made up her mind fully about it. "I know we have a duty though. For those up on the moon, and on Earth. For me they are the same, and they are to be protected. It was one of the various reasons I created the Secret Warriors." she explains to the King.

A nod comes in the end at the explanation on the purpose of Afterlife. Yet she then suggests. "Have you considered coming to live on Earth?"

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
Blackagar nods slowly, ~Yes. There is truth in that, that gifts that are needed appear as they are needed. It is also believed that proper guidance helps that process. The purpose of the genetic process was to guide to an Inhuman that would be strong enough to endure terrigensis while still in the womb.~ He explains that last with a small downward glance, then he manages a smile. ~It was believed that if terrigenesis could happen then, the results would be strong enough to oppose any threat the Kree could bring. Or so I was told. Why things are done are often very shrouded in multiple purposes.~

When she lifts into the shrug, Blackagar nods to her, ~We have a duty. To /all/ Inhumans. Those who exist now, those who have yet to konw they are Inhuman. There are more of us that have not appeared. We must always keep their wellbeing in mind. But the fact that you wish to keep things in secret hints to me that perhaps you do understand the position we are in.~

A blink, he actually flushes a bit red in a blush. If he could clear his throat, he might, just to buy time. ~I have been spending a rather excessive amount of time on Earth. A lot of time to be honest. I am perhaps concerned I am here too often. There are magistrates on Attilan that can handle the regular affairs of the city, but to live here fully would mean setting aside my responsibilities.~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"To create a perfect weapon to beat them?" Daisy looks somewhat surprised at that, head canting to the side. That is some big news for her. It also makes her look somewhat .., worried. "Well, lets just hope that's not what the Kree would want, mmm?" she comments.

Still, it's that last part that her attention shifts to. And of course she noted the little blush! Because she pounces on it almost immediately. "Yes, I am rather tempted to ask on why you spend so long on Earth, but I have a good idea by now." so casual. But also so meaningful! "You do realize the Furiae are quite the tight-knit group..."

She lets that hang for a bit before eventually addressing the final apart. "But I did not mean *you* coming to live here but rather all those that live on the moon. Coming down to Earth. I mean, I don't expect you to live in the best of conditions considering it's .., the Moon. But I could be mistaken. Maybe when you bring me up there to visit I can see how you live."

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
Blackagar's expression takes on a bit of a serious one, although his blue eyes still have a humored, almost playful light to them. ~And the Inhumans are not a secretive group themselves?~ he asks towards her steadily. There's a moment, then a small shrug, an honest smile, ~It is an intriguing part of life I have never ventured before.~ Simple enough, even if she's doing an excellent job of pouncing at the King's blushes.

At the mention of all of Attilan coming to the Earth, he grins, a wide grin but slowly shakes his head. ~The city itself is as it was here on Earth. Beautiful and sparkling. Shielded now, however, against the vaccuum of space. But to return all of our people here?~ He slowly shakes his head, ~Where would they go? How would they fit in?~ A slow sad look touches his eyes, ~There are good people on this world, Luna, but many still battle base emotions. We fled to the moon to escape persecution. To be allowed to live in peace. Tell me, what would your governments themselves do if they knew of only /my/ existence?~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Indeed?" Now 'Luna' is a bit surprised at what Blackagar just said, blinking a couple of times, "All royal duties and no ..., matters of the heart attended. Perhaps I shouldn't be *that* surprised..." but she smiles gently at the man though, not in a mocking way but almost as if she's glad he is enjoying his time on Earth. "But .., I also got another question which has been skipping my mind forever to ask. Why do you call me Luna?"

"We would find a way." She then says. About them fitting in. "I thought I didn't fit in this world either, angry at it and look at what I am doing now. Working with SHIELD..., trying to save the world. And yes, I know it's not an easy road to go, to put trust in others that they will do the right thing but ..., you know eventually you will have to, don't you? Trust that this world won't let you down.."

"You and the Attilans are a part of this world as much as anyone else is." Daisy then says. Though she really doesn't answer the part about the governments directly. Because she doesn't really have a good answer just yet.

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
Why do you call me Luna?

It was something that he had expected to be asked, but now that it was here there was hesitation in Blackagar. Finally, his hands move as he looks at Daisy with a soft expression. ~Another old Prophecy. Thousands of years ago, an Inhuman who some believed could see the future said that there would come a King, strong enough to stand against all. He would be born a full Inhuman, and he would be known as the Midnight King.~ The movements come with a small smile now. ~There was much written about this Midnight King, but one story that always stuck with me, was that he would be taken away to a world of ice and in the depths of his deepest fears and that Princess of the Moon, Luna, would aid him.~ His shoulders lift, but Blackagar does grin, ~I like the old stories.~

He let's the story sit for a moment before he goes on, ~We have been away from this world for over a century, and while we are tied to it, we are also not a part of it. I know of other places here that have tried to co-exist on this world. Wakanda, Atlantis, I have seen how they have fared. What we can do Luna is so much more than they are capable of, why would the accept us here?~

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Midnight King, eh?" Daisy questions, a brow quirking up but then she nods at the tale. Prophecies. Well, she *was* starting to believe more on those. "There was a time in which I would had laughed at those you know? Prophecies. Mysticism. I mean, all my life was about hacking until you know .." she wiggles her fingers, some slight shudder encompassing the air about them. " ... this. And then all the rest..." she takes in a breath.

"Because you have a right to live here, you were once part of this world. And even if you left it doesn't mean you aren't anymore." Daisy replies to the King, "Wakanda and Atlantis *are* faring. And while mutants may have suffered a setback with Magneto's return it doesn't mean they aren't doing what they can too."

She exhales, "It isn't something that happens overnight though. I know this. But .., shouldn't it be considered?", a smile, "Just think on it."

Blackagar Boltagon has posed:
~Oh I consider it. I consider it very regularly in fact," Blackagar affirms to Daisy, looking at her and offering a soft smile. ~It is why I've considered how to bridge things. Like I said, Afterlife is a bridge for Inhumans of Earth to Attilan, but the same may need to exist for Attilan to Earth should there be interest. But more than a geographic bridge, I believe there needs to be a bridge of individuals.~

Then he looks up, past Daisy into the sky, to where the moon may well be. ~I am a child of Attilan. I would never expect or even ask the Inhumans of Earth to follow my rule or leadership. Is is not their way, although I do believe they need leadership.~ He glances around them, at the conditions they are working to rebuild in. ~There needs to be a bridge, someone to hold the gap between Attilan and Earth, someone who can be trusted to do both. Because I will always place the interests of Attilan over the interests of Earth.~
