Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Eve Wilkins, Peter Quill

Eve Wilkins has posed:
A soft chime sounds on the control console of the Milano at the same time as a little indicator flashes. The pair indicate someone is reaching out to the Milano over the galactic subnet with a message.

A vid screen comes on, showing who the caller is. The blue face is one that will be quite familiar to Peter Quill. Yondu Udonta. Yondu waits, a little impatiently from his expression, and sucks on his teeth as if he's got something stuck between them he's trying to work out.

Peter Quill has posed:
Peter frowns at the vid screen and the blinking warning light. "Huh," he says when he sees who it is. He'd been so wrapped up at his loss to Thanos that he had sort of forgotten the rest of the universe existed, Yondu included.

After a second he puts on his best, cheerful, everything is fine face and accepts the call, appearing on Yondu's screen across the galaxy. "Hey Yondu, what's up?" he asks with that fake cheerfulness the old pirate can likely see through by now.

Eve Wilkins has posed:
"Quill!" the familiar voice bellows, as if the volume setting on the Milano had no ability to quiet the Centaurian. "A little birdy told me that you were out by the Crab Nebula. Boy, what are you doing out there? Actually, never mind that. What's important is, there's a package that I need picked up, over on Naro-Atzia. That can't be more than a couple of jumps from where you are!" Yondu says.

He takes another moment, prodding at his teeth with his tongue, before getting back to the matter at hand. "You go over and pick it up for me and get it back here to the Ravager fleet. And I'll cut you in on the profits from it. 20%, boy!"

Peter Quill has posed:
Peter jumps as Yondu's voice booms over the comms despite the low setting. "Shhhh," he warns the Centaurian with a shake of his head. "Yeah? 20% of how much Yondu? I don't know if you've heard the Guardians are galactic heroes now, we don't work for peanuts." Not that he's sure Yondu knows what a peanut is. They also had places to be like Hala, but what was a little side trip going to hurt if there were some units in it for them.

Eve Wilkins has posed:
"Peanuts!?" Yondu's voice roars over the speaker. "Them those little furry creatures they sell on Nova Prime? The ones that the skin gets all nice and crispy?" he asks, tongue touching his lips in a hungry way. "Well, we aren't dealing in those. Cold hard credits."

Yondu waves a hand as he says, "You get that package back here by Friday, and I got a buyer going to pay 400,000 for it. So that's... 20% of... 400, and... carry the four and... no wait, 8... 80. 80 thousand, Quill! But it HAS to be by Friday, boy. Hear me? What do you say, you got my back on this boy!?"

Peter Quill has posed:
Peter makes a face, "No, they're... nevermind, 80,000 will be great, I've got you on this Yondu, I'll bring you the package by Friday. Anything I need to know about what I'm bringing you?" he asks.

Eve Wilkins has posed:
Yondu's far from perfect teeth are shown by the big grin he gets. "I knew I could count on you Quill. We're going to make quite a score. I'm sending you the destination and access code now," he says. One of the other lights on the console comes on, indicating receipt of the message.

That done, Yondu turns back to the screen. "Ok, now Quill, this is really, really important. You don't have to worry now about customs or anything like that with the package. But, when you get it, just remember... you can't get that package too cold. Alright now, you take care of it, Quill! I'll be going dark for awhile to dodge some patrols" He signs off the communication.

It will be several minutes before Peter will realize, he's not sure from Yondu's tone of voice if he meant that Peter shouldn't get the package to cold... or that no amount of cold is too much.
