Profile
Alderic is a mutant puma created by an attempt to reformulate the mutagen that created the Ninja Turtles. Unfortunately for him, he did not have a sensei to educate and teach him martial arts. Alderic still behaves animalistically, and lacks education and experience with the world he's suddenly been thrust into.
Timeline
Timeline:
2003: This is Alderic's "assumed" D.o.B., to reflect his physical and mental development after mutation.
2016: This is the actual year that Alderic, the regular non-mutant cougar, was born. This is not known to most mundane people.
2016-2019: Alderic was living that wild and free non-mutant animal lifestyle. Survival of the fittest!
2020: Alderic was captured for mutagenic experimentation. The experiments were mostly successful, and he was transformed into a mutant puma.
2021: Alderic was rescued from the laboratory where he was experimented upon.

Personality
Charming:
Alderic is friendly and affectionate towards people who are kind to him. He'll put all of his feline charm to work to sway people to favor him, whether that means nuzzling up to them for a cuddle or chasing around a laser dot like an oversized housecat.
Lazy:
Following a solid 10 hours of beauty rest, Alderic has a strict rigimen of napping that he adheres to. In the mornings, he has a post-breakfast nap, followed by a pre-noon nap so that he's well-rested for lunch and then the big nap in the afternoon. After that it's time for dinner and a post-dinner nap, and then it's straight to bed so he can do it all over again the next day.
Observant:
Having the mentality of a predator, Alderic is constantly aware of his surroundings. He has a keen awareness of dangerous environments and creatures when nearby, and he tends to notice little things that other people often overlook.
Persistent:
Alderic does not give up easily when there is something he wants. He will push for it for as long as it's reasonable to do so, or until it becomes too dangerous to continue trying.
Unruly:
Alderic is a cat by nature and will do what he wants when he wants, most of the time. If you tell him to do something and he does it, you just got lucky that the thing he wanted to do was the same as the thing you wanted him to do, too.

Powers
Bite:
Alderic has a powerful set of jaws and large fangs meant for piercing and gripping. The sides of his jaws are designed for cutting through flesh, rather than chewing like humans. He can bite through most anything with a Mohs Hardness below 4. I.E. he can bite through copper(Mohs 3.5) but not iron (Mohs 4) and definitely not steel (Mohs 6.5).

Enhanced Attributes:
Being both a feline and a mutant, Alderic possesses quite a few enhanced attributes. Most obviously, he is capable of seeing in anything except total and absolute darkness. His senses of hearing and smell are also enhanced well beyond that of an ordinary cougar's.
His enhanced agility, balance, and flexibility allow him to manuever around environments with ease, as well as more easily avoid harmful conditions from being inflicted upon him.
His enhanced strength and speed allow him to move faster, jump further, and lift heavier objects. He can leap 25 feet from a standstill, and lift or move up to 1200lbs, provided he has the leverage to do so. At a full sprint, he can run at 60mph.

Mountain Adaptation:
Having originated from a mountainous environment, Alderic is well-suited for it. He has a high tolerance for high air-pressure and high cold, and is immune to the effects of vertigo or similar disorientation.

Retractable Claws:
Alderic has retractable claws on both hands and both feet. Due to the mutagen the keratin that forms them is super-hardened, making them more durable than natural claws, but not unbreakable. They assit him in climbing surfaces and gripping things that need holding on to, and are quite capable of rending organic material should the need arise.

Skills
Camouflage:
Alderic has a natural camouflage that allows him to blend into mountainous, grassland, or woodland environments, or similarly shaded color patterns.

Climbing:
Alderic can climb with relative ease on most angled or vertical surfaces. He's able to take advantage of any handholds he finds, no matter how small, on trees, rocks, walls, etc. He can use his claws to assist him in this where necessary. As his natural habitat, rocky and mountainous environments are the easiest for him to climb in.

Enhanced Stealth:
Alderic is naturally skilled at being stealthy, so much so that he's even been able to evade the Foot Clan. If he does not want to be seen, it is likely that he will not be, barring the person looking for him possessing superhuman senses or abilities.

Predator Instinct:
Alderic is a natural-born predator, and as such is skilled in tracking, hunting, and planning, even if he doesn't always show it.

Sign Language:
Alderic has begun learning sign language! His skill is still very rudimentary and he only knows a handful of words at this time, however it is an improvement over his previous ability to just shout at people like a hungry cat. He is still receiving lessons, and his ability to communicate will gradually improve over time. For now, he can communicate with simple concepts, as long as both of his hands are free and he has time to think about what he wants to say.

None:
Alderic does not have any resources to rely upon, at the moment. He must get by on his own capability to adapt and survive.
Weaknesses
Bestial Mentality:
While Alderic is self-aware and fully sentient, he believes he's still an animal. He will react to many things in his environment the same way that a cougar would, responding with instinct rather than forethought and planning. Fight or Flight can get him, and his friends, into a lot of trouble.
Foot Clan:
Let's face it. The Foot Clan, and the Shredder, have always wanted the secret of the mutagen that caused the Turtle's transformation. Having funded research into recreating it, and that research resulting in the now-escaped Alderic, it is expected that they would pursue him in an effort to re-capture him and resume their experimentation.
Inexperienced:
Alderic does not have a lot of experience with the human world. It's big, it's loud, it's frightening. He doesn't know what a lot of things are, and as a result may react negatively to unexpected stimuli. He doesn't know what to make of most things in an urban environment and will get confused or frightened by them.
Obviously a Cougar:
There's really no getting around it. All the trademarks are there: Fur, teeth, claws, tail. He even has the adorable pointy ears of a mountain lion. Because of his appearance and his behavior, there's little to nothing Alderic will be able to do to "blend in" with the ordinary human populace.
Uneducated:
Alderic has no formal education of any kind. He has only been self-aware for a little under a year, and educating him was not a priority for his captors. He does not know how to read or write, and can only count so far as he has fingers - and even then he gets it wrong sometimes. His lack of education is not a lack of intelligence, however. Alderic is perfectly capable in situations where he isn't required to take a written exam.
