He needs to find his fugitive and find a way home, while avoiding any felines in the process.

* 2006: One of the 3 surviving members of Brick's squad commits suicide. Brick already struggling begins drinking heavily.

* 2012: One of Brick's former teammates going by Garish reveals they've gone criminal using their powers to become a supervillain.
* 2013: Brick and Garish have a massive battle that causes major citywide destruction. Operating as a de facto sheriff in the border city Brick operates as a judge/jury/executioner.
* 2019: Brick's former teammate escapes prison, promises revenge on Brick for arresting him and steals a spacecraft to rebuild a gang in the solar system colonies.
* 2022: Garish returns from space with a small gang to try and kill Brick, unaware he had been prepping his own spacecraft since hearing of his getaway. The two wind up in orbit when Garish detonates a device that winds up transporting both of them to Earth where they crash-land in different parts of the globe.

Timeline 2:
Brick Bardo was a former soldier turned renegade cop from the planet Arturus. He was/is an almost stereotypical depressed drunken violent badass with a penchant for property destruction straight out of an 80's movie but for one thing, he was experimented on during the war and gained the power to massively increase his size.

Useful during a global war, it only lead to increased property destruction during his cop days and finally got him transferred to a dusty city in the middle of nowhere that politicians had been promising for years would get rebuilt after the war and never had. He worked there contently if not exactly happy for years until one day one of his former super-powered squadmates who had broken bad decided to go after him.

The two wound up taking their fight into space when his nemesis detonated a device that wound up shunting them both to Earth where they crash-landed. Brick has no idea where his rival is, only that his ship isn't capable of interstellar travel. And worse, he finds that while he resembles Earthlings, he's only 4 inches high in comparison without using his size-shifting powers.

Personality

Depressive:
Brick has struggled with depressive episodes for years after the war and his latest escapade hasn't helped that any. Despite his heroics during the war he fell into living in a small apartment driving people away from him with an abrasive personality and doing the bare minimum to take care of himself.

Duty-Bound:
One thing that does keep Brick motivated is a strong sense of duty, if someone is doing wrong he's hell-bent on stopping them and fulfilling the oath he took as a cop.

Violent:
Brick operates under a very loose set of ethics when it comes to inflicting justice. If a bad guy surrenders he'll arrest them but the slightest resistance can be seen as an excuse to shoot them, an attitude he got away with for years due to his 'heroic' standing from the war. He cares very little for property damage either, it's why people have insurance isn't it?

Character Sheet

Powers

Size-Change:
On his homeworld Brick was capable of shifting into a man the size of a building with high resistance to damage and immense strength. Here on Earth where his 'normal' height is now 4 inches tall he finds his size-shifting puts him at...a measly 5'1". He's still stronger and tougher than a normal human at this scale but on the very low-end of superhuman, able to lift about a half ton and survive major impacts, but not bulletproof. He can't maintain this form though as it tires him out. Without exerting himself he can maintain it for about half an hour once a day. If he IS exerting himself it falls closer to between 5-10 minutes.

Superhuman:
At his miniature scale Brick is tougher and stronger than he looks, but he's not able to overpower a normal human being. He's able to lift at this scale about 40 pounds and can survive say being kicked or even stepped on by a normal human, but he won't necessarily be in good shape after such a blow.

Skills

Military Training:
Aside from shooting Brick still knows basic first-aid and a familiarity with explosives which he disturbingly has a supply of even as a supposed police officer.

Shooting:
Soldier training and years as a renegade cop has made Brick a great shot. While he won't be ricocheting headshots he can usually pull off a quickdraw snapshot with lethal results. He favors his handgun but still carries a rifle from the war for when sniping might be called for.

Urban Tracking:
Often used as a sort of 'last resort' on the force to go after baddies, Brick wasn't often doing a lot of paperwork but instead was sent into the rough parts of town to find someone as a sort of on the force bounty hunter. Interrogations, fieldwork, breaking and entering places quietly, Brick knows how to find someone or at least evidence of where they've been. Out in the woods he's a lost cause.

Resources

Glasses:
Brick's glasses aren't just for show, they're actually a high-tech piece of equipment with multiple vision settings such as night, thermal, x-ray, zoom, recording, and provide a link to his spaceship and hovercycle allowing him to pilot them remotely or call them automatically to his location.

Guns:
While Brick was famous for his sizechanging, he became infamous after the war for his handgun. It was every bit as experimental as his powers were, a one of a kind revolver that could shift with him. That wasn't what made it special though but rather the insane amount of power it generated, capable of nearly obliterating a person with a single shot, and when grown that power could wipe out whole platoons with a blast. Brick's almost go-to move is to shoot a wall out and then step through the resulting hole with 5 more shots at the ready. He has a rifle capable of even greater destruction but rarely carries or uses it unless he thinks a situation will be extremely dangerous by his standards.

Hoverbike:
Brick's preferred method of getting around, the hoverbike can go about ten feet off the ground here on Earth and move at 300 mph with a weak energy field keeping the wind from whipping at Brick while he's operating it. It is unarmed though Brick has often taken potshots from it with his gun.

Spacecraft:
Arturus tech was ahead of general Earth tech but behind it's more super advanced stuff. Brick's ship was built for 1 and not capable of interstellar travel, designed only for in-system. It could get to Pluto in about a week but that doesn't exactly help him get home. Built in cloaking helps him hide it as the ship is about 4 feet long turning it invisible and stealthed to most detection methods. Very basic living amenities aboard and a small fabricator allows him to construct basics he might require and keep him stocked on ammo. Combat-wise its armor is capable of taking small-arms fire while two swivel lasers on the front let it melt or slice opposition while four guided missiles provide greater firepower when needed. The ship cannot size change.

Trick-Bullets:
Normally Brick doesn't use the other bullets at his disposal, but his gun IS capable of not turning things into a fine mist when he changes the ammo. Tracking, electro-stun, and glue-binding offer less violent alternatives. But he also has incendiary, armor-piercing, and high explosive rounds to make it MORE lethal.

Weaknesses

Abrasive:
Brick hasn't had to really work with much of anyone in nearly 20 years since he left the military and it shows in his attitude, something he needs to rapidly adjust given his situation.

Alien:
While Brick world's is similar in some aspects to Earth he's still an alien trapped on a foreign world. History, culture, some tech is just not familiar to him including this world's heroes and villains.

Size:
Only 4 inches tall here on Earth Brick is extremely vulnerable to, well everything. While he's stronger, tougher, and more well-armed than most people would be at his scale, there's no getting around the fact he's moved way down the foodchain compared to things like cats and dogs if he doesn't get a shot on them first. Without growing he's no match for any ordinary person in a fight and is having to find new ways of dealing with opponents.
