A mercenary/professional criminal with a 'cold streak', Crystal is the sort to work to survive, get what she wants and has no qualms about literally shattering those that get in her way. She's not without her own codes, morals and restrictions of course, but that doesn't stop her from comfortably working outside or outright on the wrong side of the law. Not the sort to work towards world domination herself, she's quite readily be found working alongside other criminals and 'Supervillains' for the right pay.

Timeline:
* 2001: Crystal is born and raised in an abusive home, suffering for much of her early life at the hands of both parents.
*2014: One night, as Crystal's parents moved to physically assault her, her metahuman abilities manifest, freezing both of them in place and turning Crystal's hair and eyes ice blue. Seeing the tables turned, Crystal gleefully smashes them to pieces with a fireplace poker.
*2018: Crystal takes on the name 'Killer Frost' and begins mercenary work, working as an enforcer, heist crew member and occasional henchwoman while learning skills along the way.
*2022 to current: Killer Frost arrives in New York, looking to find work and a little luxury for herself/

Creature Comforts:
Crystal is a criminal, a mercenary through and through. She doesn't have supervillain plans to run a country, dominate a world or enslave people in some icey kingdom. She wants something, she'll take it. She'd rather be rewarded in something more tangible.

Tough:
A young woman who worked to survive among the criminal element after enduring years of abuse, Crystal can come across as abrasive, self-reliant and harsh. She doesn't tend to open up to most people easily and if she appears to be, she may well be working an angle for her own gain.

Cryokinesis:
Killer Frost has the ability to generate extreme temperatures of cold by draining the energy of molecules. By absorbing heat from the atmosphere, she can freeze molecules of moisture that hung in the air creating a variety of icey effects. Primarily this was used to freeze others in place, shape ice or to create a sheen of ice over an intended target. Killer Frost can also use her powers to form gusts of super-cold air, with which she would use to hurl frozen objects (usually ice daggers) at specified targets or create blasts of 'cold energy'.

Energy Absorption:
Contrary to others who share her power 'flavour', heat does little damage to Killer Frost. Crystal Frost is able to absorb heat of her surroundings and other beings to fuel her powers. Attacking Killer Frost with a heat based-weapon will only serve to strengthen her and magnify her powers. One of Killer Frost's trademark tactics is to create a block of ice around a target's feet securing them into place, and then kissing them, absorbing all of the heat from their body until they freeze to death.

Acrobatic Adept:
Through training, talent and experience over time Crystal has become skilled at using acrobatic and gymnastic abilities to assist her in infiltration, escape, infuriate opponents and simply getting out of the way of things that might cause her harm.

Experienced Combatant:
While by no means one of the greatest masters, through a combination of experience and natural talent Crystal is skilled enough in hand to hand combat to hold her own against or among skilled fighters, some heroes and members of groups like the League of Assassins (although not their greatest acoloytes). Suplimented by her ice abilities, Killer Frost can be quite dangerous to get into a fight with.

Ice Skating:
Control and creating ice and chill lends Crystal some tricks in getting around. While she is no flier, Caitlin is able to effectively generate ice to speed her movement over flat surfaces, and has been seen exhibiting the same kind of ice-gliding typically attributed to other Ice manipulators.

Criminal Favours:
Bad deeds for bad people, that's just the way it works when you're in the villain business, but a good reputation can be a useful thing and favors are favors. Crystal has called upon other henchpeople and supervillains for the occasional favor, done the occasional favor in turn, and established herself as a reasonably honorable villainess. If she needs a little help, she knows how to get it.

Safe Houses:
While no Batcave or mansion, Frost has created her own safehouses within Pittsburgh and New York, typically small apartments and private houses to allow her to hide in plain sight. They're usually simply furnished and well-heated, allowing her somewhere to lay low or plan her next job.

Exceptions:
While Crystal herself is a mercenary, she -does- however have rules against harming children based on her own past trauma and will go out of her way to do avoid doing so.

Her Own Medicine:
Unlike many Ice Manipulating and creating Metas or mutants, Crystal is vulnerable to ice-based attacks. As they offer little to no energy to manipulate or absorb, Killer Frost can be completely immobilized by a suitable freezing attack. This vulnerability however does not extend to her own abilities.

Known Criminal:
Crystal has a record, she's been connected to crimes and been identified in the past. This means she is flagged to any hero, heroine or law enforcement agency with the means to access such databases.

The Raft: Powderkeg	May 26th, 2023	A serious of unfortunate events are turned into fortuitous ones. The prisoners of the Raft have had to endure a lot during their stay. Depriving them of their freedom being one worst. They've had to suffer through sleep deprivation, bad food, bizarre therapy, strange tests, mundane existence without their powers and precious things, not to mention some real jerks. Some of which may rear their ugly head later on. But through all their efforts, solo and together, they effect an escape. Small mercies given to others, altruistic or not, add up. Pay it forward for some, gaining a nemesis for others. Consequences coincide to create opportunities. Where there were none seemingly possible before, these individuals have made it happen. The ladies have ensured The Raft won't be fully operation again for months. Ripples radiate from the Raft with their departure.
Eff around and find out.	May 2nd, 2023	Frost is free of Wyndham's clutches, having managed to save some fellow inmates and make the haughty scientist vacate the sub-section. Promises of future retribution are exchanged. Both sides have taken casualties. Both sides trading barbs, physical and verbal. Hints of imminent demise of her fellow inmates makes priorities crystalize. Within the Raft, Killer Frost is loose.
The Raft: Break Out	April 3rd, 2023	The Gals are ushered into the Raft's prison cafeteria for scheduled eats. The new arrivals are even gifted some suspicious cupcakes. Some scheming on ways to escape are floated, and a cupcake is definitely consumed with no immediate effects noted. Before much more can be discussed hush-hush, a hazing ritual by an already establish group of inmates drenches the situation in drinks. The resulting scuffle almost brings down the full weight of the security force's hammer on everyone. Some very real rage and some very real performing help muddy the situation enough and keep it regarded as a low level disruption by most standards. They girls are separated, marched off for chores, punishment and study. Though the guards don't realize they've left the cafeteria with more than just bruises and lacerations.
The Raft: Her own medicine	April 2nd, 2023	Crystal and Mary get selected for some custodial duties during their time within The Raft. Promises of either lighter sentences or at least better conditions usually come hand in hand with such opportunities. Sometimes it's merely a part of existence for inmates, with no benefit to them beyond a change of scenery. Sometimes it carries with it more risky prospects. Perhaps an opportunity to effect an escape or further one? The Raft has deep secrets and is protective of them all.
Welcome, please don't enjoy your stay.	March 28th, 2023	The newest guests of The Raft are transported to the prison via a bumpy airlift. Their experiences during transport are one of being under very heavy guard with many specialized precautions. They're greeted by the Warden and a portion of the heavily armed security detail assigned to the Super Super Max.
