As the man dressed in the red Santa outfit is led away, others are taking their time to oogle the abandoned mecha. A trio of men are gathered off to the side talking. Mike is amongst them.
"Good job."
Mike gives a slight smile, offering a hand over to the one who managed to double kneecap their large opponent. "Y-"
"You know Tyler?"
Mike stops as a young voice speaks behind him. Turning around he finds himself no longer in the mall food court. It's something else. Darkness? Lightness? A combination of the two somehow? Frowning, he turns back finding the two men he was speaking to gone. Instead, more of the indeterminate lighting is in their place. A brown haired teen in torn clothes looks back to him, barely old enough to have a learners permit by now. While Mike is not one to lecture someone on having long hair, from the stylings it is apparent that this young man is in desperate need of a brush. The look being given to him looks to be a mix of desperation and cautious hope. Perhaps too specific a guess, but he's seen the look before and he's inclined to assign it the same meaning.
The world changes. Foggy, staticky. And despite the picture seeming to be there, the jerky movements and voice don't always match up, freezing in places. Mike's lips part open seemingly wanting to say something as the imagery of a cuff appears. The feral looking teen gestures towards it
"Tell Ty- demo- Zorrek put u- called - Black Diamond Appurtenance - be - to Agrora and bring -home. - Asgard- d Kortessa has -Help-"
Mike's eyes flutter open, staring at the morning-lit white of the ceiling. He reflects upon the bad call quality of the dream and the elements that were definitely not his own. Thoughts of another time this happened gives additional meaning. Giving a grumble, he rolls to the side of his loft bed to pull a notepad off a side shelf. Flipping it open, he starts writing.
