Transfer a SceneSys Log

  1. Go to this link, then find your scene, and click on it.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of your scene's page, and click that link.
  3. Copy the 'poses' part of the page to your clipboard (ctrl-c).
  4. Click on the link at the bottom, paste the 'poses' into the big textbox, fill in the rest of the info, and hit save.

Mutant Presidents 2024-05-15 23:30:00 The Brotherhood is going to rob the Smithsonian. This will mainly be done by 46 presidents, each of whom is brought to life as a mutant to steal priceless artifacts from the Smithsonian for more blow back from the Starport incident.
They All Come Tumbling Down (The Split - Part IV) 2024-05-16 00:00:00 Information gained from the confession of a high ranking Maroni lackey has provided the GCPD with the time and location of a potential meeting between underworld factions that plan to make an illicit exchange.

A big operation tends to draw the attention of many, including more nocturnally inclined crimefighters. An abandoned school turned criminal meeting ground is under siege by the GCPD attempting to make entry and being consistently repelled. Some of the less conventional advocates for justice seek to infiltrate the building and soften it up from the inside.

(OOC: This is going to be a fighty scene. There will be guns, knives, sharp sticks, probably a harsh word about some Batmother, and more. This is intended for Bats and Gothamites who are willing to work a bit outside of the law.)

Mutants and Master Molds - Investigation Interruptus 2024-05-16 23:00:00 Plans have been made and interrupted. Sentinels have fought, been driven away, and found yet again. The Machination continues to build up as leads are pursued and schemes set a-float to try and track them to their lair (if they even have one). Plans have been made for pursuit..

But who here will be the hunted, and who will be hounded? Who will be the target, and who will be the terminated? Be ready to go face to faceplate with the latest Sentinels right off the assembly line, factory paint not even dry.

OOC: Several different threads have been tracked and pursued to gather information on the Sentinel Cell's schemes and machinations. This will be an investigation oriented and pursuit scene of targets. May or may not be something nasty at the end. Be ready for the coming..

YMCAACP Course: Gun Safety 2024-05-17 00:00:00 YMCAACP Alumni, Wade Winston Wilson, has called upon himself to teach anyone that wants to learn about Gun Safety. As an avid user of firearms himself, he feels that there are a lot of individuals that simply do not know how to operate them properly.

Mist River Montana 2024-05-18 00:00:00 The X-Men receive a call for aid from Rogue's father in Montana. Owen, on a mission to rescue his wife from a mysterious Mutant villain, has sought the help of a mystic in Montana who can decipher the glyphs on a magical key to a pocket dimension. 
OOC: This is a self serving scene diddling my own story. This is for X-Men if they'd like to participate in an action oriented mission to help Rogue's father achieve his goals of saving his wife from the clutches of a madman.
DOOM: Rescuing the American Dream 2024-05-18 00:00:00 Over dinner Doctor Doom reveals that the wayward Doombot had been programmed for interdimensional exploration and observation. It's also revealed that as a result of its programming and the magical subroutines that were installed, it had a limited number of places it would have been capable of sending the Museum of Immigration. Following Doom's reported analysis of the Doombot's remains, he's determined the location of the wayward landmark: Hell.

Preparations are made, vital components assembled, blessed artifacts are gathered; all that's left is for DOCTOR DOOM to send these brave volunteers to HELL!

(OOC: Involved folks know who they is. Let's go to the hot place and steal us back a museum! Rate M for OMG WHY DOES IT HAVE SO MANY CENSOR BARS?!?)

SI-CMS joint press conference 2024-05-18 16:00:00 Stark Industries and Cranston Multinational shipping have a big announcement to make and are throwing a big press conference. Speculation is rife, and every news agency with pretensions to be a big player is sending someone.

OOC note: If your IC identity has ties to a news agency, that's your in. No violence expected.

And Don't Drink the Water 2024-05-18 19:00:00 The trail of the cyborged gangers has taken the Outsiders to Tijuana, in Baja California. A city with a crime rate close to Gotham's despite being smaller. Mojitos and tacos will be consumed. But remember: Do not drink the water (unless you have a healing factor).

There might be a motorboat chase involved, too!

Mostly an investigation scene before getting into a serious fight with the local crime lord(s).

The scene is for the Outsiders and their allies.

JUST Trouble 2024-05-18 23:00:00 The Pitch: Armed with a fresh shipment of bleeding edge military technology of unknown provenance, a unit of Purifiers escalates beyond mere protest and decides to turn a book signing event with metahuman theorist Donell Youthers at Brooklyn's Twisted Helix bookstore into a gore-slicked testing ground for the divine arsenal of the future.

The Danger: Medium to High. These Purifiers are not only wearing advanced battlesuits with advanced, squad-level targeting, tactical computing, and coordination capabilities, they're equipped with adaptive weaponry designed to counteract a broad spectrum of posthuman abilities.

Participants: The first six people to sign up. X-Men and Brotherhood-aligned participants are somewhat preferred due to constituent themes/ease of access, but anyone who would object to gene-motivated slaughter is welcome. Two(2) slots will be considered reserved for X-Men/Brotherhood participants for the aforementioned reasons, and opened to all comers on the day of if there's space.

Portents of Peril: Something Wicked 2024-05-18 23:00:00

A darkness is falling over areas of Otherworld, something sinister is making its move. Why worry about the world over there? Because it's something that will find its way here if not stopped.

  • This is the beginning of a short plot involving the Otherworld. Its main focus is JLD and its allies. Outside that group, if you want to take part, just page me and we'll figure something out.
  • Threat Level - Nada, this first scene will just be a meeting at The Raven's Nest.
A Portal Beyond 2024-05-19 22:00:00 A Group of Psychics in Central America are claiming an amazing discovery that will change the course of human destiny. Various AI and magical oracular systems are flagging this press conference as potentially highly disruptive and in need of monitoring even if, due to the ominously curiously absent substance to it, seems easy to dismiss as Hyperbole.

This event is the introduction to the Red Mars, Green Mars plot. Risk is Medium Low (Environmental damage only, but Mars is a harsh mistress). Members of the Press, Justice League, and SPACE are especially welcome.

Gangs of New York: First Blood 2024-05-19 22:00:00 Predators prey on the week and vulnerable. Following the arrest of one of the area's more notorious gangs, The Scorched Skulls, the lower hanging fruit is moving in for the kill. But with all sides having a trick or two up their sleeves, the turf war may prove too much for the city's Finest to control.
  • Threat Level - Medium to High
  • This is for street level characters at this point. If there's interest from some of the higher level's, I'll adjust accordingly.
RoT: Secret Labs, Familiar Labs 2024-05-20 23:00:00 News and social media reports of explosions and super-villain activity at a quiet New York City building complex. SHIELD and the Avengers get a more informative report.

Villains hitting a secret government lab. Can the heroes turn them back successfully?

Open to everyone who might respond to the news, or hear it going on. SHIELD and Avengers particularly appropriate, but not limited to them.

Note: This starts the final leg of Reign of Terror (plot 173), which included President Luthor being attacked, Sec of Defense Alexander Pierce being outed as Hydra, and other government officials kidnapped and rescued. The bulk of the scene is unscripted, freeform heroics. But the ending will contain a scripted element to set up future scenes.

Open Office Hours 2024-05-21 18:00:00 Morrigan's going to be holding open office hours for folks to stop in if they need to speak with her on anything involving the High School or the College.

Note: I'm going to run from 2pm EST to a little before 5pm EST then taking a break for end of day stuff, then will come back. But folks can drop in as they like!

Party Planning Committee Meeting Re: Xavier's End-of-Year Dance 2024-05-21 23:30:00

Dear Committee Members,

This is a formal notification that the Party Planning Committee will convene for an essential meeting to discuss and organize the upcoming End-of-Year Dance. As this event marks the culmination of the academic year, it's imperative that we execute our duties with the utmost diligence and attention to detail.

Agenda: 1. Roll Call - Be on time or face the wrath of the attendance sheet. 2. Theme Proposals - We will not accept additional submissions of "pirates" as a theme. 3. Budget Review - Detailed financial planning to follow. We can't blow it all on streamers this year. 4. Task Assignments - Division of responsibilities. Volunteer or be voluntold. 4. Entertainment Selection - Evaluation and finalization of entertainment options to ensure alignment with current market trends.

Attendance is mandatory for all Committee members. Absences must be pre-approved in writing 48-hours in advance. Non-compliance will result in being assigned additional duties, including but not limited to glitter cleanup.

We are confident that through meticulous planning and strict adherence to protocol, the End-of-Year Dance will be an enjoyable and successful event.

Mutant Field Trip: Part 2 2024-05-24 23:00:00 The edumacational field trip that Spiral intended has hit an interdimensional series of pot holes. What was to be a friendly abduction and coercion of Xavier's School of Gifted souls went off without a hitch, but enroute the group was beset by abominations hungry for violence and spectacle. The X-folk were able to fend off the demonic wolfpack and escape. The resulting crash landing into an unknown where and when, has stranded them, unless a nearby wasteland saloon can provide solutions fluid and favorable.

In Spiral's turbulent mind, maybe there's something that still can be salvaged before consequences catch up. When life gives you lemons, ditch the dixie cups and reach for the Hard lemonaid.

Field trip upgraded to Road Trip.

Social Studies Workshop: The New Human Is Illegal 2024-05-26 22:00:00 A cozy theater in the Genoshan Embassy has been transformed into a presentation space to play host to a gathering of minds organized by the Queen of Genosha, Lorna 'Polaris' Dane for a communal presentation. The themes:

* The past and present of Mutantkind, and the cycles of violence which have animated both; * The possibilities of a future free of those cycles and the oppression they fuel; * Imagining the finest tools to shatter those cycles.

The invitees:

* Any member of Mutantkind interested in discussing or learning; * Any non-member of Mutantkind interested in learning about or discussing modern Mutant history; * Anyone willing to listen to and learn from Mutant perspectives.

Presenting is optional. Snacks will be provided. Entry is free to all.

OOC: So, since the premise of this scene is a collaborative presentation, my intention is to structure it as roughly three rounds of RP followed by time for open socializing:

Round 1: Posing in; kicking off the presentation. Round 2: Finish up Lorna's part, then open the floor for others to pose their additions if desired, ask questions, or otherwise respond. Round 3?: Wrap up and transition into open social time for those who want it.

Given the nature of the scene, I just want to make a few points clear: doing a presentation pose is OPTIONAL, and anyone is more than welcome to attend without doing so. IF your character would like to do a presentation, I just ask that you try to write some/all of the pose for it ahead of time, to keep things moving at a good pace. This is not going to be a particularly formal scene, so don't feel as if a complex or in-depth or downright lengthy pose is needed: the goal here is to have fun thinking about and sharing a significant part of many characters' existences, and a major element of the setting at large.

End of School BBQ 2024-06-01 20:00:00 Morrigan is hosting a BBQ to herald the end of the school year. Students, Faculty and friends of the school are all welcome.
