Hell's Weapons

Location:	Hell's Kitchen
Synopsis:	An assault on weapon dealers down in Hell's Kitchen where Daisy finds some unexpected aid! Luke will need new clothes. Danny finally got his high five. Matthew shall pay for spreading the Tremors rumor.

Hell's Kitchen.

Not exactly a place where Agent Johnson finds herself too often though it does bring out some memories. Tonight though it was all about the mission. SHIELD has been tracking a number of weapons dealers after recent events, and in this case it has brought her here to investigate. Full garbed in her SHIELD uniform, black and blue, the techno gloves on her hands along with the comms visor which she taps.

<<Quake here, I have a visual on the building. How many do we expect to be present?>>

<<Shouldn't count more than 5, yet proceed with caution. We have noticed an increase of activity in the area>>

<<Alright, going in>>

And indeed there's been an increase in activity. The heat was coming in for X-boy Louie, specially after the capture of another weapons dealer he had business with recently. It was only a matter of time until they tracked him here. So it was time to close shop and get movin'. Which is why he has called in some reinforcements, pack stuff up, go lay low for a while until they can resurface and resume on selling weapons again. Of course that this kind of activity might just as well had reached the ears of the Defenders too.

Danny Rand has posed:
You see, Hell's Kitchen is Defenders territory.

...or at least thats what Danny Rand would have one believe if this were a gang-life society. This activity had most certaintly reached the ears of the Iron Fist, who had come over to help defend the homefront, as it were. In his full gear, that being light body armor that is colored his classic green and yellow, with his yellow half-mask.

He essentially looks like a ninja that was made to fight on the front lines.

So, it is that with which the protector of K'un-Lun leaps from his perch and onto the ground below, attempting stealth....though he's not realizing that there's apparently a SHIELD operation at play here. "I'm moving in." Danny says on coms, if the Defenders are organized enough to have any. He could just be hyping himself up.

Luke Cage has posed:
Stealth? That isnt exacty Luke's cup of tea. Not that he is mindless or stupid strategically he just is a much more...straightforward individual. Jeans and a Yellow t-shirt, that counts as a super hero uniform right? He is coming out of one alley towards the shipping. Completely oblivious of the SHIELD operation.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
No comms, but that's a good idea, fortunately, Matt can hear Danny even from where he stands on the opposite rooftop.

He drops down beside Luke, head tilting upwards as he regards the taller man. "Danny's going in, better go cover him, Luke, something's up here," he says tilting his head a little. He could feel more people than there should be here. "I'm going to do a quick circuit to make sure we're not going to run into any trouble."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
If it's only five it shouldn't be too much of a trouble for Quake, the Agent starting to get away from the building she had been doing her surveillance from. There is a brief pause when she sees that biiiig looming shadow coming out of the alley though which forms into the large man known as Luke Cage. She quirks a brow, then notes the ninja-clad Iron Fist. Yet she still has to note Daredevil..

She speaks to her comms. <<Another group may be intervening. Approaching.>> She informs. <<Acknowledged. Keep us posted.>>

She begins her approach to the duo, a gesture in their direction. "Agent Johnson. SHIELD."

As for inside, there are indeed quite a few more than five people inside, and well armed. Unfortunately to the group outside they also got a lookout, which informs their boss. "Louie? We got heat on our tails..." which brings a response. "Well, we got enough weaponry here to feed a small army. Weapons up, boys." and to those with particularly acute senses there's the sound of footsteps, people readying up automatic weapons.

Danny Rand has posed:
Assuming Luke does indeed go with Danny, Iron Fist gives Cage a fist-bump and a smile. "Come on man, we got this." and Danny starts his approach. Too bad that approach is immediately interrupted by the arrival of Daisy Johnson. Danny immediatley enters a fighting stance when he spots her and looks like he's about to try and take her down, before she reveals she's with SHIELD.

....he should probably still take her down.

But! against Danny's perhaps better judgement, he nods. "Iron Fist. Defenders." Danny straightens out...but then the group is spotted. Woops.

"So whats SHIELD doing here? Shouldn't you guys be like...stopping a dictor in some foreign country or something? Something huge? This is kinda our thing." No, Danny does not understand secret/not-so-secret government institutions.

Luke Cage has posed:
See this is the problem with Luke's approach. Any element of surprise was long lost. He returns Danny's fist bump, "Easy as..."

Quake catches him off guard with her arrival and he lifts his hands in a fighting stance...this is how misunderstandings start. He exhales when he sees the SHIELD logo. "SHIELD involved in this?" he asks dubiously, "I expected just to crack some skulls and get these weapons off the street..." He isnt angry or accusatory in tone, a stoic steadiness that shows he is ready for whatever he may run into. "What have you gotten me into?" He blames Danny. He is kidding of course, but even Luke can manage some banter.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Well that answers that, when Quake appears, Matt recognizes her at once, stepping out of the shadows of the alley in his red suit with the horns. "Tremors, what are you doing here?" he asks the agent before the sound of moving feet and automatic weapons can be heard inside.

He makes a face, "Company's coming, sounds like at least ten guys with automatic weapons," he says, already advancing on the building, planning to get to it before the men start shooting.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Daisy also seems to be ready, just in case the duo isn't as friendly as she expects them to be. One never knows. Though once she hears the word Defenders a respectful nod comes out of her, then an half-grin. "We are. Following leads on some weapons dealers related to what may turn into an international incident." not that she explains much further than that. SHIELD and their secrets!

"Just the two of---"

Tremors. That makes QUAKE cock her head to the side briefly, a moment of pause, an exhale. "Guess not just the two of you. Hello, Daredevil." a glance across to Daredevil, a grin yet once the mention of men with automatic weapons is heard she nods sharply, losing the grin and starting to walk on as well. "Seems like you will get to crack skulls afterall." she says over her shoulder to Luke.

As for the men inside they are just finishing to get their weapons ready, loading up, finding defensive positions to take shots at whoever comes inside. "Alright, boys. Shoot whoever comes through that door." their leader says, just as he picks up a shotgun.

Danny Rand has posed:
Danny looks over at Matt and he gives the much larger man a bit of a shrug. "You know, there are days where I'm asking myself the same thing. Like uh...remember when we were getting Chinese food that one day, and a dude with a bone to pick with you literally jumped headfirst through the window? Stuffl ike that."

Danny talks too much.

But then he's looking at Daisy as she explains that this might end up being an international incident. "Wow. You might end up getting worldwide recognized, bro." He elbow nudges Luke, of course to no effect, but it makes Danny smile.

Then there's Daredevil. "Hold on, you two know each other?" But of course, introductions are interrupted by the mission.

"Well, this should be fun. Should I knock?" Danny's hand starts to glow with chi, an Iron Fist punch ready and waiting as he approaches the door.

Luke Cage has posed:
"Ill go first...let them waste that ammo on me. Id hate for someone to get hurt." Luke replies to Danny's comment as he approaches the door. He steps in front of Danny and grabs hold of the door and literally rips it off the frame as if its a shield...what little extra protection it gives as he 'storms the castle.'

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Crouched by the warehouse Matt let his senses take in what's going on inside, homing in on heart beats, the smells of weapons and sweat. "They're waiting for us," he tells the others, "But I doubt they're expecting Luke," he says grinning. "Hit them hard and fast once they realize they can't hurt him so they don't go looking for fresh targets."

He moves closer to the doors then drawing his batons.

When Danny starts getting talkative with Luke it makes Daisy quirk a brow, watching the interaction between them briefly. Cute. Though then they are closing in on the door. "Guys, automatic weapons.." she not being exactly aware of what the duo is capable of. Maybe SHIELD should get an updated file on the Defenders! A glance to Daredevil and then the door is being ripped open!

It is just the sign that the thugs needed to open fire. Their leader, Louie, just laughs. "Fools, shower them with lead boys."

And shower them they do. Or well, they shower Luke with a rain of bullets. Which really doesn't do much to the bullet proof man. Just to his clothing. Tsk. Poor jeans and shirt.

"Oh shit ..." one of the guys inside say, stopping to shoot briefly. That's just when Daisy glances over the corner of the warehouse, arm extended and a vibrating wave coming out of it. It hits the man squarely in the chest, sending him flying.

"I see you got a tank." she says over to Danny and Matt when they are moving in.

The men are scattered inside the room, nine in total now besides the leader, some using a few crates to keep hidden and take shots, others right out in the open. Because who would dare to get into their turf through the front door?!

Danny Rand has posed:
"Yeah, thats probably smart." Danny holds back on the Iron Fist punch, and instead allows Luke to definitely go first. He briefly forgets that Luke is REALLY strong. So when that door opens? Well... he works with Daisy at that point, With Danny moving opposite of Daisy and Matt to unleash a shockwave of chi energy, hoping to take out at least two of the gunmen from the concussive force.

"Yeah, he's pretty great." Danny replies to Daisy. But of course, all of the Defenders are special and unique, and Daisy is considered the guest star or temporary member in Danny's eyes, so the rule still stands.

As for who would wlak through the front door?

The Goddamn Defenders.

Luke Cage has posed:
The clothes get tears and holes from the shower of lead that comes raining down on him. Luke just rumbles deep, anger crossing his features as he works as a shield for the other Defenders...and Quake. When the hail of gunfire slows as they realize he isnt a target of opportunity Luke goes on the offensive, hurling whats left of the door and a grouping of criminals, he is bound to hit at least one.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"Right," Matt says remembering Daisy doesn't know Luke is bulletproof, though once he goes through the door, it's hard to miss that fact. Then when Daisy and Danny go through the door unleashing their senses shredding powers loose, Matt holds back, until they're in and their powers have popped off, then the red suited vigilante rolls in and hurls two batons at two of the gunmen knocking them on their asses, before he rises and catches one on the rebound.

He he turns his head like he was looking at the remaining gunmen, "Just a thought," he tells them. "Might want to give up."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
It couldn't had gone better even if it had been rehearsed. The group of men were hailing bullets their way when one by one they start going down. Or in this case, in pairs too...

Daisy had taken one out when the guy paused shooting, a couple of more out when that blast of chi shreds through the crate they were hiding behind and sends them sprawling to the ground.

Three of them note the door that is about to be thrown in their direction. "Uh..." one says, starting to run, just to take a baton to the head from Matt along with one other.

And that's just when the door hits and sends more gunmen down.

And that seems just what was needed for their nerve to break. "Screw this, they ain't paying me enough to go against powered people." one starts running off while the others toss their weapons to the ground. Indeed they believe it's a good time to give up.

Their leader just looks around in dismay. Considers his shotgun. Looks at the group looming in. And being minimally intelligent he tosses the weapon to the ground, arms up.

Daisy smiles up at the Defenders then over. "Not bad, guys." well, perhaps it was a bit over 'not bad'!

Danny Rand has posed:
BOOM!

Hit hard, hit fast alright.

The unified efforts of the Defenders + Daisy seem to have scared the literal shit out of these guys and Danny looks very pleased with the amount of teamwork that was on display. "Smart move." Danny compliments the head honcho before he looks at Luke and gives him an upnod of respect. "Knocked it out of the ballpark." He tries to high five the big guy.

But then he looks to Daisy. "Not a problem at all. So, might as well ask your questions or take them into SHIELD custody or...something. I don't really know what your plan was."

Luke Cage has posed:
Luke Cage gives Danny a look, hesitates and then with a slight roll of his eyes he returns the high five to the Iron Fist. "Like I said, just knock some skulls and keep the guns off the streets." be turns for amoment back to Quake, "So, I take it you're the law here and will..." he sort of gestures around, "Sort this?"

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Hearing and feeling the guns hit the concrete of the warehouse floor, Matt smiles, "Good choice," he tells them before he collects the one baton that didn't return and puts both away.

"And that's a good question," he says about getting all this sorted out. "We'd planned to call the authorities once we dealt with things, but I guess that's you, Tremors," he grins at the woman. "Got this handled? We might not want to stick around to answer too many questions," he says lightly looking around, but willing to stay if that's what it takes to keep these guys in place until backup arrives.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Let's go with Quake." Daisy says over to Matt when he calls her Tremors. Again! Twice in the same day! "Or at least Agent Tremors..." she lets out a sigh but she seems good humored and indeed it seems as if they know each other. She appears to ease out of the tension she had been feeling about coming into here as their targets surrender. But she nods towards the group. "We can handle it from here."

<<Team, warehouse is secure. Extraction team can start moving in. We have a lot of trash to clean up.>> then the response. <<Roger that, 5 minutes away.>>

She starts on her way over to where the leader is. "We mostly want this guy for questioning. The rest we will let the authorities. But I am serious..." she glances over her shoulder at them. "...Appreciate the help, round of drinks is on me if I find you about, yea?" she offers, "The rest of my team should be here in 5."

Louie speaks up. "I got nothin' to do with those guys trafficking that kinda technology!" to which Daisy replies. "Sure, we will see about that."

Danny Rand has posed:
Danny will totally wait there with a stupid expression on his face until Luke gives him the high fives. "Yes!" Danny says happily. "And hey, if the system works, then don't change the system I guess." Danny smiles. He looks over at Matt for a moment.

Of course, that makes all attention is on Daisy. "So...any preference? Quake or Agent Tremors?" Danny's trying to be so polite. Oh, free drinks? Sweeet. Too bad Danny doens't indulge that much, but he does on occasion. "Would love that, thank you. Besides, nothing we couldn't handle. Always happy to keep the city safe from guys like him."

He looks at Luke and Murdock, giving them a thumbs up each.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt smiles, putting his hand on Daisy's shoulder, "Quake it is then," he says finally using her proper codename though it is already too late Danny's picked up the Tremors name!

"Drinks would be good, you know how to reach me if you want to set up a time," he smiles at Danny's thumbsups. "We'll get out of your team's way for now. Less uncomfortable questions that way." All three of them weren't exactly keen on SHIELD digging into their backgrounds.

"Take care, and we'll talk soon," and with that Daredevil slips out of the warehouse.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
And QUAKE sees right through it! "It's too late! Now everyone knows..." she says about the Tremors part, resting her hands on her hips. But then she gets to answer Danny. "Though Daisy works just as fine too. Friends of the devil are my friends too." she nods her head, a respect there that she gives both Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Though she does wince briefly at how he's riddled with bullets. "I hope those don't hurt.." she murmurs.

"But yea, get going." she not seeming that keen on reporting them to SHIELD either. She watches Daredevil go, then the others, a faint smile to her lips and then her attention goes back to Louie. "You have been a very bad boy, you know that ....?"
