Danny Rand-Kai is the CEO of Rand Enterprises who is very much so a public servant by way of reputation. He's always hosting charities or fundraisers to give to the needy and poor. He's always wanting to help and has publically criticized some of his company's more...darker secrets that have come to light. He just wants everyone to have a chance.

The Iron Fist is the defender of K'un-Lun and heroic crime fighter that helps keep the streets of manhattan clean of crime. While he has had various amounts of success in that endeavor, the Iron Fist has not been publically known as a vigilante until Loki's invasion in 2018.

Thankfully, nobody has caught on that Danny Rand and the Iron Fist are one in the same, a close guarded secret that Danny has revealed to trusted allies alone.

Personality

Compassionate:
Some call it a flaw, others call it a great gift. Danny Rand has a kind and innocent heart, always willing to help someone in need, regardless of what they've done or who they are. If he sees a chance at redemption, a chance for them to take another path, he'll give it to them. Unfortunately, this also means that in most circumstances, Danny is unable to bring himself to kill another person. He sees life as sacred and not something to take easily.

Fearless:
The Protector of K'un-Lun must be unbending to evil and unconquerable to fear. While Danny fears very little, when it comes to fighting the good fight, Danny often does it with not careful considering, but really reckless abandon. He believes his quest to be a noble one to fight crime and evil wherever it may hide.

Headstrong:
Danny has a difficult time accepting people's opposing opinions when he truly believes himself to be in the right. If he believes it will deviate him from his current course, chances are he won't even consider it. Thankfully, its lessened with intensity with the coming of age and maturity, but Danny has a history of being stubborn as a mule.

Temper:
Due to well, being taught to manage serenity and calmness over anger, Danny doesn't have much of a filter when pure rage kicks in. He can get snappy and aggressive if he feels he's been wrong, not unwilling to say mean things or get into fights. Danny's temper is his least enviable quality and definitely his achilles heel, both in a fight and in his relationships.

Character Sheet

Powers

Chi Augmentation:
Danny Rand killed Shao-Lou the Undying and plunged his fists in its molten heart to gain the Dragon's power, leading to the dragon tattoo on his chest. Danny can essentially summon his chi to strengthen and enhance his physical abilities and perform many feats that amount to a sort of energy manipulation. Danny's mastery of chi grants him his superhuman abilities.

Chi Sense:
By focusing on the chi of those around him, Danny can sense their presence. Its less a supernatural sense as it is 'tagging' someone. If they are nearby, he can know exactly who it is by memorizing their chi and can follow individuals through a crowd if he's honed onto a specific person's chi.

Energy Absorption:
By harnessing his chi, Danny can absorb energy directed at him and can channel it to strengthen his other chi abilities, such as the Iron Fist Punch. Of course, there is a limit to how much energy Danny can absorb, where he cannot essentially absorb energy greater than that of his own willpower. It'd bring dire consequences, such as exhaustian, migraines, nausea, and other unpleasant symptoms should he disobey that rule. Through an ancient technique, he can also drain another individual of their chi, but it is a battle of willpower to perform and can lead Danny feeling mentally exhausted.

Enhanced Durability:
Danny can channel his chi to make a sort of 'aura' around himself to make him more resistant to physical injury. Granted he is still human and this is not a superhuman form of durability. Bullets still hurt, blades will still cut, its simply more of a concussive resistance. He can be thrown through a still door and get back up for more.

Enhanced Healing:
Danny can use his chi to heal himself or heal others of injuries. He can purge his body of poisons or drugs after a period of time and can even use his chi to do things such as finding poison in the system of another person or discover if they are being affected by drugs. He can use chi to heal up to moderate wounds of others, but can save himself from life threatening injuries assuming he has the time to effectively do so by speeding up his healing process. He cannot heal from limb or organ loss, nor can he save himself after death without outside assistance.

Enhanced Speed:
Danny can use his chi to increase his speed and reflexes. Typically he has done this in order to dodge and even catch bullets that are fired at him or move up to speeds of 35mph.

Iron Ancestry:
By focusing on his chi, Danny Rand can expose himself to the knowledge of all the Iron Fists that came before him by speaking directly with their spirits. It typically only grants him wisdom in a particular situation but they can, at times, reveal knowledge of techniques if needed and only when necessary.

Iron Fist Punch:
Perhaps the thing the Iron Fist is most known for and the most powerful ability in his arsenal by far. By channelling the power of Shao-Lou the Undying chi into his wrists and hands, Danny can strike an object or person with tremendous physical force. Due to the chi empowering it, Danny's fists become superhumanly resistant to injury and pain, as if it were made out of iron The power of the Iron Fist can knock down steel doors, shatter wood, crush brick, and can even hurt individuals with high levels of durability. The punch can also be used with a shockwave effect in the event where he needs to strike multiple people in little time. The Punch is strong enough to shatter ground should he strike it. However, using his chi in this way is tiresome and requires focus and time, so he can't be using it repeatedly. It should also be stated that the Iron Fist Punch is entirely a technique of concussive force.

Nervous System Control:
The techniques taught to him by the Order of the Crane Mother have allowed Danny almost complete control of his nervous system via being calm and focusing his chi. He can appropriately numb his pain, slow or outright nullify the effects of drugs and poisons, and perform minor self-medical care for himself, like slowing down bleeding. Ironically, he is able to pass lie detector tests by muting the body response required.

Willpower:
Danny has an incredible will to keep going in the face of the hardest adversity or in spite of fear. He has a strength of spirit that is extremely difficult to counteract or dominate, which is extremely useful when it comes to harnessing his chi. He's the type that will fight for hours if he's fighting for something important and has a hard time -staying down-.

Skills

Acrobatics:
Danny possesses the gymnastic skill of a trained Olympic gymanst. He can perform acrobatic maneuvers to the point of being borderline enhanced, but he's not quite at that level yet. He is skilled in parkour.

Business Management:
As CEO of Rand Enterprises, Danny possesses competent knowledge in finances and negotiation that he would need in order to run his business. Though this skill is minimal, considering that he often lets trusted individuals run his company in his stead so he can be the Iron Fist.

Investigation:
A decent mind at investigation and detective work, he can follow suspects and crack cases, but he's by no means a master at the craft and often times has to rely on contacts or others for assistance.

Martial Arts:
As the Iron Fist, Danny is one of most skilled martial artists on the planet. He has mastered Kunlunquan, Shaolinquan, Judo, Aikido, Wing Chun, Fujian White Crane, Karate, Boxing, Ninjutsu, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga with all of the weapon styles in between. He is capable of fighting while blinded and can even use 'chi-based' techniques, such as the Drunken Fist, that can fool and throw off guard individuals who fight with a telepathic or precognitive edge. Due to his training with the monks of K'un-Lun, he possesses enough skill to effectively have an 'infinite' number of ways to kill a man, but that hasn't quite been proven considering his lack of will to kill someone. He is also knowledgeable of pressure points and can paralyze or incapacitate an individual with that knowledge.

Meditation:
In the event that Danny needs to recharge his chi and essentially himself, Danny is a master of meditation techniques. In other situations, he can even slow down his heart rate.

Multilingual:
Danny can speak English, K'un-Lun, and Chinese fluently with somewhat competency in Japanese.

Peak Condition:
Danny Rand has trained his entire life to be the defender of K'un-Lun and fight evil wherever it may hide. To that same end, Danny has reached the peak physical condition required to carry out his task. He is not physically superhuman or enhanced without the use of chi however and is limited to what is possible for a base human to physically perform.

Resources

Defenders:
Danny Rand is a founding member of the Defenders and can call on his friends (begrudgingly or otherwise) if he needs help...that is assuming they're in the mood for doing so.

Dojo:
Despite his great wealth, Danny has chosen to live in a type of 'dojo house' that he's spruced up nicely to mimic the style of living that he experienced while in K'un-Lun. It has only what he needs and no more than that. A place to meditate and recover and attempt to live normally when he's not a businessman or a crime fighter.

K'un-Lun:
The mystical city of K'un-Lun, one of the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven, exists in a pocket dimension. Only accessible to earth for a short period of time every ten years, Danny is the guardian of the entrance and the mystical realm's protector. There are other paths to K'un-Lun, but they are significantly more dangerous to tread rather than simply being patient. The monks of K'un-Lun are always willing to help their noble protector, so long as they know he is in need and he actually...you know, goes to them.

Rand Enterprises:
Danny Rand is the majority shareholder and C.E.O of his father's company, Rand Enterprises. The business is a congolmerate with departments in defense, pharmaceuticals, software, automative, and aerospace products. Though he is ultimately in charge of the company, he often lets others like Ward and Joy Meachum to take stewardship over his kingdom, as it were.

Rich:
Danny Rand is very rich. A multi-millionaire borderline billionaire, actually thanks to his inheritance. While he lives very humbly, he can afford really anything he has a dire need for within reason.

Weaknesses

Doubt:
Danny Rand, in truth, does not know if he is actually prepared to be the Iron Fist. The Iron Fist is supposed to be a stalwart, no-nonsense defender of the righteous and guardian of Kun-lun and Danny is...well, he often comes off as a relaxed and hesitant individual. He often times questions his legitimacy and his capability in this regard, something that his enemies often prey on.

Emotional:
Danny tends to act on emotion rather than reason, which really just gets him into trouble. Whether or not its his rather breathtaking temper or his personal desire to try and help everyone under the sun or overstretch himself with his duties, its exhausting and can cause strain on his relationships and work.

Life Is Sacred:
Danny Rand is extremely hesitant to kill unless he is ultimately forced to or it is literally the only way out of a situation. He does not like to kill because he holds life sacred and will find every single excuse possible not to take a life, a trait he shares with many other heroes. While it is certainly a noble trait, his enemies will not hesitant to kill Danny and thus Danny is unintentionally giving them another chance to kill him.

Limited Chi:
Despite being the Immortal Iron Fist and blessed with large amounts of chi, it is still a finite energy source. If it drains empty, he will be exhausted until it replenishes, which can take days or a great deal of effort to accomplish. Its because of this that Danny typically prefers to use his physical ability rather than call on chi in an effort to use it sparingly.

Naive:
Danny has an innocent view of the world. He trusts people until they've done something that proves him otherwise, he takes people at their face value rather than who they truly are, and he often doesn't understand many problems that the world has. He takes betrayal extremely personally because people often take advantage of his kindness and compassion.

The Hand:
The Shadow organization is Danny Rand's sworn enemy and nemesis. He is always hunting them down and pursuing their leads. He does not know who their leaders are, but they know exactly who he is and will, on every logical oppurtunity they can, send assassins or skilled warriors to try and end the Iron Fist's life.
