Synopsis:	Monet and Patience agree to be friends and talk on life

Monet St. Croix has posed:
It's been a time or so since Monet has caught up with Patience. So on a time that's somewhat simple for them the duo have arranged to have a coffee. Monet has arrived there slightly early and is looking over the menu that's listing some Latverian finger foods. Then occasionally up and over at the taptestries extolling the grandeur of the monarch of Latveria. For some reason Monet rather enjoys the atmosphere.

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen had never been to this coffee shop before. Making her way inside, she paused a moment to look around. Spotting Monet, she offered a smile and a light wave then made her way to place an order for a drink and a few of the offered small bites out of curiosity. Once prepared, she turned to approach Monet's chosen location.

"Mmm.. it smells so good in here. And not just the coffee. I do love the spices used in Eastern European cooking."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would smile, "It has a.. Unique atmosphere and flair." Also the giant tapestries of the Monarch that no doubt pepper almost every single bit. "The prices are quite resonable as well. I find it relaxing. It's good to see you again. It's been awhile."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen smiles and settles in across from Monet. "Yes.. it is very unique. And yes! It is nice to catch up again. How are you healing?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would smile, "I"m mostly healed up. The benefits of my physiology. And how have you been doing? I hope that you've had no further issues."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen smiles brightly, "Oh, I'm so glad. You weren't moving very well there for a bit." She sips at her coffee, "Well, I mean things are going well, I think? I've spoken with some of the members of the Justice League Dark organization. They've asked me to become, well, an ally for now. For collaboration. But it might lead to a more active role. I'll just have to see. It's just nice to know I have some others I can turn to for insight or even support if necessary."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would hesitantly smile, "Thank you for that. It's going.. Relatively well and I'm mostly done with it." Even with an enhanced physiology anda ccess to high technology medical care, some things one had to take slowly. "Is that a direction you wish to take with them? If so pursue it."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen smiled and nodded. "I'm glad. I was worried, whether I needed to be or not. I don't like to see my friends hurt." She nibbled at one of the small bite items with a pleased sound. ".. that is delicious." After a sip of coffee, she looked back, "Well, they're a lot more knowledgable than I in many areas. But? I think I could help fill in at least a particular space in their blanket of knowledge. And I believe they're doing very good things. I'll just have to see how it goes. Just having them as allies is a huge benefit."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would take a moment to evaluate, "Having associates to watch your back and have on hand is excellent. Those you are confident with allows you access to better resources, equipment, and as appropriate reinforcements. And a greater sense of purpose."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen listened and smiled. "Yes.. I believe so, as well." She brushed her hair back from her cheek. Toying with her cup, "mm.. so. that's really about all on that front." A little nag at the back of her mind causes her eye to twitch for a moment before she adds, "We all went to the Pride Parade and then to a really large party over on..mmm... Danny the Street? I think that was its... er.. Their name. Apparently the whole street and everything on it isa sentient being? I won't pretend to actually understand it. But it was fun."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would slowly smirk, "That sounds like a.. Rather unique circumstance. I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself over at it. You don't seem wholly phased so it seems within the norm of association. Did you enjoy the parade and all the other things giong on with festivities?"

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen nods, "It was. The... street signs, even the advertisments on the backs of benches? The words would change. It was actual conversation. If a bit simple. I.. " She laughed. ".. I was a little drunk, too. So I think that it was probably more surreal than I remember. But it was a lot of fun, yes." She offered a warm smile to her friend.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would laugh, "Only a little drunk? I see. Are you one that has a strong tolerance or a rather light one? I am rahter curious." She would muse over and if allowed take a hand up and over to brush at Patience's hair

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen laughs. "Just a little. I was pacing myself. I only had three pint.. well no. They were Solo cups. Because party. But only three" she laughed. "It wasn't enough to get me falling down. But everything was pretty rosey by then."

She leaned to the hand with a gentle smile before looking to Monet. She nibbles her lower lip. "I.. want to thank you. For being a friend. For spending time with me. It means a lot. But I should clarify.. I'm not certain that I am ready for a lot.. more?" She shrugs, "I love being your friend and spending time. I just.. need to work on the friends part more. First? Then we can see?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would ah, "It's not something that you have to work on if you don't wish to. But if you're going to be going to more parties you might want to try and get some more practice in on." She would smile at Patience and accept the kiss.

"Of course. I think that.. Us being friends first for awhile is appropriate. It's new enough a concept htat we don't want to overcomplicate things where they already are."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen looks to relax a little as Monet supports her thoughts. A smile. "I very much enjoyed the park with you. Flying was.. I don't have the words for that. Things like that? I would still have fun doing. Getting to know you better. And you me."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would smile, "Then look at it as things to consider doing as well. And to explore on your own. I'ms ure that some of yoru new comrades and friends might have ways to help you do it on your own."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen tilts her head, "I'm not sure that learning to fly is something any of them can teach me." She shrugs, sipping again at her drink. "So, mmn, have you been doing anything else lately?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would shake her head, "I have been busy with my studies and ongoing personal affairs. And on occasion engaging in some research in regards to other affairs."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen feels Monet pull back and shut her out. There's a sad look across her features for an instant before she offers a faint smile and nods. "Well I will pray that all of those affairs will be able to be put into proper order for you, then" she offers quietly.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would smile, "No prayers are needed. I am more of the.. Do of thine own initiative. Prayers have one simply push off the responsibility to something else. I am appreciative of the offer, hwoever."

Patience Alperen has posed:
Patience Alperen nods quietly. "Alright." She glances up furtively. "I should probably just go. I'm sorry." She moves to gather her drink and trash up.
