Making Apologies for the Mind

Synopsis:	After fighting, Monet and Kara talk.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
She had been cured by the Titans likely for awhile. And probably worried about the girl that she had taken out her rage on that had been badly hurt. Kara thinking probably she should apologize, not sure if she could actually see the girl again.. Then she had gotten a call point blank from Monet that had said simpetly 'we need to meet' with a time and a place in an isolated park.

Kara Danvers has posed:
Supergirl is feeling horrible about what she did under the influence, but she isn't one to shy away from making it right. So, even though she's very uncertain about it, she flies off to the park, gliding down and putting red boot to green grass, as she sweeps the area with her supersenses, looking for Monet.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix is there. The girl has fully healed over after some time in the medbay and under the aid of healers at Xavier's. She's standing over for Kara, in the exact place she said to be there. She's not moving, as if a statue. But the approach of Kara is noted,a nd giving a light nod ofa cknowledgement

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara walks over closer. She sighs. "I am so, SO sorry." she says, softly. "I didn't mean to...well, I wasn't myself. I know that's no consolation."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would turn over to Kara and give a low nod. "You were.. Not. I.. Understand what it is to be made into something you are not. Against your will. And in turn to lashout at others over it."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara stops, just outside arm's reach. "You can hit me if you want." she offers. She can't really think of any other way to even try to make it right. Monet's not likely to be able to actually /hurt/ her, but it might make the other girl feel better to use her as a punching bag for a bit.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would glance at Kara and.. Tentatively smile, "I think Iw ould hurt myself more than you, but I.. Appreciate the sentiment. I am.." She would close her eyes for a moment, tense.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"Well, if there's anything I can do to make it up to you, just name it." Kara says, sounding sad. "I know there may be nothing I can do that's enough, and I accept that." The blonde looks decidedly sad when she says it, but resolved.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would close her eyes, "I.." She's unsure in how she does this. "I do not like to be weak. You made me feel that way. I do.. In return I will take you helping me to not be so much."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara looks confused. "I'm not sure what you're saying. I mean, I can't change your powers, or...I could try to help you combat train, but you're already studying with the Amazons, and they taught me. I'm not sure what it is you're asking." She admits, looking over to the other woman.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod over at Kara, "That is.. Acceptable. My own combat skills are.. Subpar. I have trained some but there are not a great many with the time and proclivities to teach.." Well, air to air combat with fists.

Kara Danvers has posed:
The blonde nods. "I can do that, at least. Just let me know when and where, and we can do lessons." She offers. "I'm not sure how good a teacher I'll be, but I'll give it my best efforts for you." She smiles a bit, if a bit forced, and offers out her hand to shake.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would nod over and let out a sigh, "And.. Are you all right, Kara?" She would shake the hand. A bit tender and sore still, but not wincing. "Emotionally." Very little could probably actually hurt the other girl in ways that lasted.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"No." Kara admits. "I'm not. I did some horrible things. Probably the worst is what I did to you, but that's far from the only terrible thing I did. And what's worse is that when I was doing them, they felt /right/. I /wanted/ to do them." She releases the handshake, hugging herself low on her torso. "I didn't think I had anything like that in me."

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would go to take a moment then to gesture at the bench. "Would you like to sit and talk about it? I.. Have had the same done to me. It is.. The most horrible thing." There's actual sympathy on her face.

Kara Danvers has posed:
"...if you want. I'm...I'm not sure what I would say. I'm not under the influence that made me like that anymore. So I don't...I don't feel that way any more. It's just more...it's more being bothered that I'm capable of that. That I would EVER act like that. That's not how I was raised. That's not who I am." Kara's clearly troubled; it shows on her face. She has a very bad poker face.

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would sigh, "I can read minds. I don't have to bother with your's to see that you are not handling it well and you are more than bothered. You are terrified of yourself and what you could potentially do."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"You're not wrong. But it's not anything that talking would fix. Someone /did that/ to me. And they could theoretically do it again at any point." She shakes her head. "How can I even justify being around people when that kind of a risk exists? Especially my friends?"

Monet St. Croix has posed:
Monet St. Croix would shrug, "Talking over it would perhaps help you resolve it emotionally. It is not always things that we can -fix-. It is about things we can understand and have to deal with."
