Felicia Hardy has posed:
Felicia Hardy, and Sara Pezzini have been becoming the best of friends the last few weeks with a few awkward moments with Sara and, or Felicia, crying in some emotional expression of them learning to let someone new close to them and being vulnerable. Is never easy.

Tonight however, Felicia decided they need to go out and show off what they can do as heroines by doing some classic police scanning heroism.

The night was starting kind of slow, but there was a call over the airwaves, and The Black Cat swung into motion expecting Sara to be quickly on her heels.

A small gang battle broke out with four cars involved in a drive by situation but the cars were all stopped now and with maybe a total of twelve guys exchanging fire between themselves, most of them outside of the cars and using them as cover with three guys still in the cars, all injured and in a state of bleeding nearly fatally.

"This seem fun to you?" Felicia asks, looking over to Sara as they stop near by, but not close enough to be hit by the stray fire, "We up for this?" The thief says with a joyous kind of grin on her lips below the domino mask.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Being part of the NYPD made the planned adventures for tonight all the more easy for Sara and Felicia. Sara has a police scanner, she just rarely used it these days. Back when she walked a beat, which is code for a uniformed officer, she used the scanner constantly, as well has having her police radio.

Tonight was another matter however, and knowing that at some point she would likely end up armored, she had worn a pair of sweats and an old t-shirt while listening to the scanner. When the call about the drive by and open gang shoot out came across the air waves, and Felicia headed into action, Witchblade choose that moment to show off.

It's possible that Felicia expected to drive there, or perhaps hop roof tops like some parkour master, but that isn't what happened. Although there was no immediate threat, Witchblade had also been getting to know the young thief and decided this was the right time to introduce her to the armor that Sara wore.

Tendrils of metal expand out from the bracelet, shredding through the clothing on Sara's body. First the chest, then down the torso and legs, leaving just enough metal in places to be considered decent. Up over her head to protect her brain and skull, and the last part of the armor to form was the wings. Springing out from her back, they looked much like angelic wings in metal, complete with feathers.

"Need a lift?" Sara then said, and scoops Felicia up to head to the scene.

Once there, she found a secure location to land and set the woman down. "As you can see, Witchblade is more than ready, and I think we can handle this situation," she then said, looking to Felicia with a smile. "You and I that is. Just remember, I'm bullet proof, so don't worry about me. You take care of yourself and come out in one piece, deal?"

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Felicia nods and accepts the flight from the metal wings of her teammate and grins the whole way there. Landing on the rooftop over looking the battle zone, Felicia turns to Sara with a deep breath and a hand on the woman's elbow. "I'm trusting you to be safe, and I will do my best to continue my streak of not dying." The thief says before she spreads her arms out in a T pose and allows herself to fall off the roof. Twisting in the air and swinging a hand out, the zip line hidden in the fur shoots out to grab the building across the way and brings Felicia in a low arch behind a set of car-barriers and bringing her feet forward to slam into the side of one of the thugs.

    "COMING THROUGH!"

Sara Pezzini has posed:
The police were likely there, or on their way, but this was the sort of situation that lead to the phrase 'officer down' and Sara did not want that for any of her law enforcement brethren.

It was difficult to watch Felicia just throw herself off the roof, but she knew the only way to learn what her friend was capable of was to let her do her thing. Witchblade would heal any injuries the woman might get, so Sara just sucked it up and accepted.

Spreading her wings back out behind her, she dropped off the roof of the building right after Felicia, using her shiny metalness to draw attention from both sides as she literally landed in the middle of their gun fight.

"That is enough of that!" she announced, and in that moment a long slender sword formed in her right hand. The pattern on the weapon's hilt was as intricate as the gauntlet itself. "Two options people, surrender peacefully, or get beat down!"

Felicia Hardy has posed:
The first guy is leveled by Felicia's double kick as she swings past and through him, and is already swinging up into the alley near by as physics dictates that her swing needs to continue somewhere or go splat into a building side. The gangsters turn and start to shoot towards the shock of white hair flying through the air but none of them hit as she's incredibly fast.

Then the Witchblade lands with demands and a sword seemingly growing out of her hands. "Yo. What the f**k?" One gangster cries out before someone shouts, "PUT THE B***H DOWN!" And then bullets start to fly towards Sara, and the gauntlet she wears. All directions and even PING sounds off her armor and wings.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
As the bullets begin to fly toward Sara, the wings are what move and shift to block them from hitting anything vital. They had been given their chance, but like most gang bangers, choose poorly.

Since Felicia was already on one side, Sara sprang toward the other. The sword could be sharp enough to remove limbs if she wanted it but instead she was intending to use it more like a club. Just enough sharpness to get the point across, not enough to severe body parts or kill anyone. That was the hard part for Witchblade, he believed death was the only lesson that taught others of their mistakes.

"Had your chance," she calls out, moving to club one of the gangers in the head with the sword. "You can't hurt me, you can't run, and now you've pissed my friend off."

What friend? Felicia? Nope. They'd pissed Witchblade off.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
The gangster's stand up and starts to openly and brazenly target Sara and the witchblade with their bullets. Eight guys stand, the one Felicia kicked is out, and the three within the cars don't possess the ability to stand or shoot back out at this moment, so there's eight guys challenging Sara.

The black cat swings back out of the alley with great speed as she brings a single foot forwards to crack against another man's jaw, twisting his head harshly to drop down onto the ground with a groan as his jaw is dislocated and moans.

With a crack the grapple hook detaches from the wall, and Felicia flips through the air and lands feet first on top of a car and just in case any one is aiming at her, she continues to roll to the back and then down off the car, her backside hitting the road and she frowns, alive but a touch sore.

"There's two of 'em!" Shouts someone, still putting bullets into the metal skin of the witchblade.

The nearly exposed woman isn't given much respect with the gangsters shooting at her until she brings that sword into the battle and the blunt sword being used to break limbs, and damage nerves cause the men she hits to drop to their knees and scream, or gurgle as windpipes are crushed enough to make breathing a labored pain. "PUT HER DOWN!" Someone shouts.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
The level of stupidity that most gang bangers has never ceases to amaze Sara. Clearly they can see that bullets do nothing, they've emptied clips at her already and even the blind could see them ricochet off the armor. Yet here they were, still shooting and now screaming to 'put her down'. No tactical thinking at all, because how exactly, given what they could plainly see, were they supposed to put her down?

The sword swings again as Sara watches Felicia reappear and roll across the top of the car and land on her butt. That had to hurt, but at least she was safe and not shot. Girl had some moves, that much was obvious.

"Oh come on you morons," she finally shouts, using a wing to buffet a guy into the side of a car. "How the hell are you going to put me down?! Use your f-ing heads!"

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Down to five guys left VERY quickly as Sara's sword play and impenetrable armor makes it nearly impossible to kill her, and Felicia is hard to see, and fast, and currently well hidden. Sara's swipe of her wing causes a guy to go head over heels backwards into a parked car and he's out cold, leaving just four in a matter of no time.

"She's a demon!" Shouts another man who rears his arm back pistol in hand and then tosses it at her, like that would have an effect that's positive for him.

Felicia rolls off her bottom and rubs it slighlty before taking a breath and wincing, "Gonna be sore." She mumbles to herself and shimmies over to the side of the car, and clocks one guy alone while the last other two together are still facing Sara.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
It's at this point that Sara stops swinging the sword and just stands there, staring at the remaining guys in front of her. She's a demon. That almost makes her laugh, and in any other situation she might laugh, in this one however... not so much.

"No, I'm not a demon you asshats," she retorts, taking a step closer. "I'm an Avenger. Start your count down to surrender at five, four," with each number she steps closer.

"Three, two," she raises the sword in preparation to strike. "One." She waits there to see if they get smart or decide to be arrested the hard way... unconscious.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
As soon as Sara gets to three, three guns clatter to the ground at her feet. "WE GIVE!" "Ya, we surrender." And the last guy stands up from behind the car with his hands up. "F****n' Avengers." Complains the last guy with a frown on his face and the sounds of his enemies and friends complaining on the ground with broken bones and bruises in some of the most painful places.

"I think that's all of them." Felicia says, calling out over from behind a car towards Sara. "Do we usually tie them up or what?" The Cat asks, not sure how to really do this part of the heroing job.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Surrendered, smart move on their part. Moving to kick the weapons out of reach she states, "Down on the ground, flat on your stomachs, hands behind your back."

That position was commonly known as the surrender position and would allow the police to move in and start making arrests. "It all depends," she then replies, keeping a close eye on the suspects. "In this case, the police are ready to move in already and can handle it from here. In some cases however, tying them up, or delivering them to a precinct is required."

The one aspect to this that Felicia likely wasn't aware of was Sara's communit. Worn in her left ear at all times, it linked her to SHIELD, the Avengers and the NYPD, not at all the same time. That would be a mess. In this case it had been tuned to the NYPD.

"You got some mad skills woman," she then says with a smile, making certain not to use names just in case these gangers decided later in life to try for revenge.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"I do?" Felicia says, pushing up and standing beside the car riddled with bullet holes. Stepping around to move to stand next to Sara, Felicia smirks, the mask arond her eyes bending slightly to stay put and she says, "You were the one literally taking bullets." Felicia smirks and then aims a finger towards the suspects.

"Why'd y'all keep shooting at her?"

"I d-dunno. Scared. Didn't know what else to do?"

"Makes sense." Felicia shrugs and then looks back to Sara. "I suppose we wait?" She asks, before moving to sit on a car and wincing slightly again, still tender.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Those who weren't unconscious remained still on the ground, on their stomach, hands behind them. Which was good, as the NYPD moved in with EMTs to start hauling away the injured and the smart enough to surrender.

"I usually get shot at," she offers then the ganger mentioning being scared makes her chuckle and she points at him. "That being the reason right there. As for your moved lady, I saw you kicking ass and taking names. It's not always about who gets shot at, or who does the most damage, it's about being effective as a team. I was a major distraction, which allowed you to do what you apparently do best."

One of the officers makes his way toward Sara, an almost star-struck expression on his face. This was Sara Pezzini... NYPD detective, the Witchblade, an Avenger, and he gets to talk to her!

"Next we make a statement to the police," she finally says as she notices the officer approaching. "As Avengers, we offer our aid to the local police, but we are still required to follow the same laws. The statement is how we heard about this, why we involved ourselves, and was the force used necessary. You have nothing to worry about though, nothing we did will get us in trouble."

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Do we have to make a statement?" Felicia asks, lifting a hand to cover her mouth as she whispers to Sara directly in her ear. Yeah, Felicia doesn't exactly have the most resolve when it comes to dealing with actual cops. Because she doesn't think of Sara as one. "I mean... I think I'm still techinically wanted? I'm not sure." The Black Cat says with a frown and the biggest kitten eyes she can muster.

"You sure we're okay?" She asks, still sitting on the car, but making sure Sara doesn't get to wander off too far from her.

Sara Pezzini has posed:
Felicia's concern over making a statement brings a slight frown to Sara's face, and she holds up a hand to stop the officer from approaching any closer for a moment. She hadn't thought of that problem, and it was a major problem if truth be told.

Leanding closer she whispers to Felicia, "You go a head and clear out, I'll go talk to the officers, make the statement, and then we need to talk later about how to get your record cleared up."

That said, instead of letting the officer come closer, she steps away from Felicia to head over to him. She had just enough pull and just enough reputation with all the things she did, to give Felicia the escape she needed and be able to cover for her. Not every Avenger was well known, not every member of SHIELD wore their badge all the time. For this incident Felicia would be marked down as 'unnamed person assisting an Avenger'.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Felicia tries to reach out to Sara but she's already gone and with that, Felicia frowns and takes a deep breath. A hand aims upwards towards a the nearest building and the cable snaps out before recalling her upwards and off the car in a quick yank. In no time the woman is gone and lost into the city night.
