Thomas Blake having sparred in addition to his morning workout and done some time in the pool, Thomas was at home and for once sleeping with a clear conscience. Almost. Throwing your beloved aunt in a pool while she was wearing white kind of ate at him a little but... they all had a good laugh. Zinda laughed like she hadn't in decades, which was possible. As he slept he rolled over and the four inch cut on his cheek was quite visible in the sunlight of early morning. A container of concealer was on his nightstand.

Megan Gwynn is really enjoying the coolness of Thomas' pool lately, after all the heat of their African trip. She is also enjoying life more, now that she's no longer under the influence of those scary ancient gods. Maybe it's just that she's trying to enjoy the last few days of summer before having to return back to college. Whatever it is, she is up bright and early on his porch, ringing the bell even though she could just port in..But that'd be rude and she doesn't want to surprise a big hungry tiger..Today Megs is wearing simple white tshirt and denim shirts and sandals, trying to stay cool in the warmest month of the year.

Thomas Blake hears Megan and opens his eyes. Then he decides to feign sleep and draw his prey in closer. Ah ha ha ha. He'll teach his little hero a valuable lesson. Never trust the bad guy. Perhaps, this will be the day? Ah hahaha! Love traps are better than death traps. Come to me...

Megan Gwynn meeps, "Helpo, Thomas? Are you there...?" she bites her lip, peering through the window. Looks like a light is on but nobody's home? "Well poop. I guess I shouldn't break in but...Bah, yeah I'm totally gonna.....!" and the next thing he knows, Theresa faerie in the room, peering down at his sleeping form.

"Awe, he looks sooo cute when he's sleeping, but should I wake him?" she sits on the bed next to him, watching him with a smile..

Thomas Blake grabs, Megan suddenly, throwing her down and pinning her. He does his villain laugh. He was never good at that. He didn't get a lot of practice and frankly it was usually wasted as he fought out of his weight class. He settles for nose booping her and tying to tickle her. "Got you young hero! Nyahahaa! It is I -Peeping Thomas!" he's almost nose to nose with her.

Megan Gwynn Meepers! and wriggles, trying to break free. "Ahhh! You're sooo meaaan!" she makes a face as she is booped, trying to boop him back. "Awe, you have no idea how cute you look while asleep, and...!" pink eyes widen as she notices that cut on his cheek. "Huh? What's this? Did you get attacked?" she frowns, reaching up to touch it, concern clear in her voice..

Awwww crap. He forgot the concealer after the dips in the pool. The hunter is now the hunted.

"What? Oh, this? It's nothing. I had a misunderstanding with an old friend's kid. She's more dangerous to herself really. I had to set her straight. It's fine. I'm a fast healer. Like when you got hit in your shoulder." He traces the shoulder where a bullet grazed her.

Megan Gwynn arches a brow, gently stroking his cheek as she inspects the wound. "Really? Looks like more than a misunderstanding? Why was she trying to hurt you..Is she gonna try and attack you again?" she seems worried.

Thomas Blake sighs. "I think she's done after the last time, when I got through with her. We straightened things out. She says she's a good guy now... but... you don't just flip a switch. Her mother was a good friend. I'm going to try to straighten her out before she gets killed. I've been there. Her mom helped me. She kept me from doing the same stupid things. Maybe tis is how I pay her back. Oh, I intent to give her mom some money as well. Maybe get her sprung. She's disabled. It's sad. I'm going to the Black Market and passing the hat for her and for Captain Cold. he got laid out by some woman with gray skin."

Megan Gwynn frowns, "Gee, that sounds complicated...Sooo are you saying she was a villain once, like you? I guess maybe you're the right person help help then..I just hope she can be trusted, and doesn't turn on you again." she pouts, "I guess you probably made a lot of enemies as a villain huh? Anyone else I should be worried about?" mention of the black market does make her frown deepen though. For all her attempts at being badass cinnamon, Megan will always be a goody good girl. "Black Market..? Why? can't you help out in legitimate ways..?"

Thomas Blake squeezes Megan. "Listen, villains have a thing. When one of us gets laid up really bad, we pass the hat for them. It's... a sign of solidarity. Because -if a villain nearly crippled a superhero you can bet they'd get their ass handed to them. I hope that woman runs into Cain and he teaches her a lesson. There's always someone bigger and tougher out there. Then I hope he catches up with that guy with the skull on his shirt. There's no justice in this world unless you make it for yourself. They're criminalizing your people for your genetic code!" He rolls off Megan and rubs his eyes.

Megan Gwynn pouts a bit at that. "Huh, so you're wanting to do a good deed for a firmer villain by turning back to your old villainous ways? Womt that lead you back down a dark path? I just don't want you to get in trouble, get yourself hurt because of this girl.." she sighs, "I was wrong, trying to be cinnamon. I'm a hero, not a villain..I..Dunno.."

Thomas Blake kisses Megan. "I'm just collecting money for people who need it." Yes from dangerous criminals. Possibly funds gained in criminal enterprises. Well the money would go to a good cause at least. Len and Paula deserved a chance. Paula had already suffered so much.

"I'm just getting some money to people who need it and should have a second chance. I got a second chance... with you."

Megan Gwynn frowns still, clearly worried about this, and she sighs softly as she leans in to kiss him gently. "It still sounds crazy and dangerous. If things go wrong..I mean, you're gonna take me with you right? Not that you can't take care of yourself, but you might run into people who want to turn you back to old bad habits." she sighs, "I just don't wanna lose you.."

Thomas Blake nods slowly. "That makes sense. Cinnamon can come along to keep me honest. But if it's all the same to you... I'll ask Cain to come too. People have a hard time saying no to him for some reason. Probably his winning smile."

Megan Gwynn nods, grabbing his hand, giving it a squeeze, "Yeah, sure." at least she's not frowning anymore, "I'll keep you down the straight and narrow, make sure no one tries to corrupt you." she grins, tugging him towards the kitchen, "Soooo what's for breakfast?" breakfast? lunch? what time is it anyway?
