Cast of Characters: Felicia Hardy, Diana Prince

Felicia Hardy has posed:
The night is cool, cooler than it has been the past month or so, but it's still too early to say it's become fall yet. Despite the warmth of the day, night is becoming cooler and cooler as the winds wash from the north and the west, and as such some people are beginning to get their places set against the coming chill. Thicker blankets are being pulled from the closets, coats and jackets are starting to be seen near the doorways and hall closets are starting to be rummaged through and hoodies are being worn more and more at night.

One couple, recently moved into a studio apartment from their previous home down south is finding the nights much more chilly than they prefer and have begun using space warmers. Little small open air toasters to keep themselves warm at night and yet this night. This night they will regret. Hopefully.

The fire started quickly and suddenly, spread rapidly and violently when the gas line burst.

The apartment windows billow nasty black smoke into the skyline and threaten to engulf the entire building.

The police and emergency lines are quickly filled with calls from fellow residents and passers by. The Black Cat frowns at the sound in her ears and knows exactly where the building in Hell's Kitchen is and decides to risk dancing with the devil in order to help people, as she's not far away.

Zip Lines and swinging through the air, gymnastics mimicing parkour gets the white haired woman through the jungle quickly on her way to the scene.

Diana Prince has posed:
The Invisible Jet just so happens to be monitoring channels from the Justice League, which in-turn monitors Emergency Service channels all around the globe. When the call of a building fire comes to Diana, she's in the Embassy to the east of this location. She reacts in short order, and the Invisible Jet itself sweeps in to the city street alongside the building, not but mere moments after Felicia will respond, and arrive, on site...

Still quite invisible, Diana emerges from the Jet's boarding area, and lunges toward the edge of the building where she stands and takes in the sight of what is going on down at street level.

Smoke pours up out of the windows around her, as she assesses the madness of all of this. Her advanced senses reach out to try and hear what must be going on within the building, and after a moment she turns to rush toward the building's roof access door way. She doesn't hesitate to rip the door open, and pull it off its anchors, to toss it aside, and let the smoke from within have yet another way to escape the building's burning insides...

Felicia Hardy has posed:
On the ground, emergency responders are still arriving on the scene as Felicia catches herself on a lamp post just above and gives a wave to the fire chief who's starting to set up a perimeter with some of his men. Busy on the radio, calling in crews, giving out orders and making sure the cops that have arrived on the scene are good to go. The wave gets the man's attention and Felicia asks, "Where can I help?"
"My crews got the bottom floors covered. If you could get the floors above the fire evacuated quickly get that done. And don't get yourself killed while you're up there." He scolds, knowing vigilantees can often mess up, but the help is at this point appreciated.

The cat nods and snaps out her zip line to tug at her away from the lamp post and up into the air, feet going forwards to crash into the glass on the floor above the fire.

Diana finds the smoke billowing up through the stairwell, and yet there are no fires directly below, it's not in the stairs yet. That's a good sign, however at the bottom of the door is a girl coughing heavily with a small black soot covered animal in her arms. "H-help *COUGH* mister snuffle." She whispers and coughs again holding the small fluffy puppy out to whoever opened the door.

Diana Prince has posed:
With the door pulled open, Diana stares through the smoke, its pungent odor, and acrid foulness just wafts over her form, unaffecting the woman in the slightest as she rushes down through the stairwell now to reach for the girl, and her pet. Diana's hands go to her shoulders, and to the animal to check on it, her eyes looking her over.

"Come on, we must get you out of here." The Princess says in her soft tone, as she will move to help her rise to her feet again.

She turns, and escorts the girl up the stairs, rapidly moving to get away from the apex point of smoke making its way to the highest point of the building.. and now flowing out in to the night sky.

Back outside, Diana's dark hair is flung about by the cooling summer wind, and she leans down to pick the girl up, to carry her to the edge of the building.

Once they are at the edge, she looks over it, then to the girl. "I am going to jump, and take you down to the Firefighters. It will be safe, we will not even fall fast, like a feather." She says with a light smile. "But, before we go, I need you to tell me if there are more people inside, and who, and where you saw them last?" She asks before she'll move to step her armored boot off of the edge of the burning structure...

There after, Wonder Woman descends from the building, all eyes able to see her now, as she carries the girl and her pet toward safety... Once she's down, she'll hand her off to the Firefighters, before turning to look back upward at the building's peak.

"There are more, I must go..." She says then to the men and women down upon the street.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Obviously the smoke is getting to the little girl, as she doesn't even seem to notice it's Wonder Woman rescuing her, but she's worried about her puppy and trying to breath once outside in the clear air. "Oh." She stutters, "There was my daddy, and mommy's at work. I miss her." She says as they jump and she holds onto her puppy more than The Heroine. "He said to run to the top but." She says as they land on the ground and she starts to cough again.

"Wonder Woman." The chief says, "There's about three floors above the fire. My guys are already turning off the gas to the building so the source should be cut off." Then giving a thumbs up towards a man at the end of the sidewalk to the next block with a tool reaching into the ground who gives a thumbs up back. "So we should be safe, but the fire seems self sustaining." He reports before continuing. "We need to clear the top three floors, and if possible the actual floor with the fire on it, but that's not going to be easy. We also have another cape in there helping. Not sure if you two are together on this." He says.

The crashing sound of glass can be heard but no shards fall to the street or sidewalk, and a moment later, a black suited figure is jumping out of the window and holding a young boy in her arm while her second one sends a cable to the building opposite the street. "I got you." Felicia says to the kid as her feet and legs catch the building before the cable starts to lower them to street level.

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana is listening closely to the fire chief. She nods along to the information that he supplies her, while she stands, poised to leave again at any moment. Her eyes do shoot up when Felicia emerges from the building's interior, and starts to descend, with the sounds of the crowd of onlookers reacting to the black suited woman's heroics. Applause can be heard, shouts as well, with others filming on their devices, likely already streaming this live to various social media networks...

When Felicia touches down with the child, Diana offers the woman a curt nod. "Glad to have more help." Diana tells the Avenger, before she looks to the Fire Chief again.

"I will search for more upstairs. If your people need help getting up, I can take them up there, or their equipment. Whatever will help make this easier, but for now, I must keep searching."

And with that, Diana bends her legs and leaps, disappearing in a flash of gold, reds and blues.

Upstairs, at the floor she found the girl, Diana lands within a window, and instnatly steps in to the fire filled room. She starts to rush through it, checking other doorways, listening for cries of help, or sounds of life in general. She doesn't need to duck, or stay beneath the smoke, as it is of no harm to her. Instead, she just moves quickly, as quickly as she can...

Felicia Hardy has posed:
The fire is raging at this point and starting to spread upwards. The fire chief doesn't want his men up there above the fire, so he refuses Diana's request to help get men up there. "We're on it, water is about to hit any moment now." As soon as he says this, the ladder with the water connection at the top opens up and starts to douse the building and the interior of the apartment with highly pressurized water.

Felicia allows the kid to find his feet before she sets him down. "I'll get your parents. I promise." She says before going back up on the same cable she used to lower herself and once up high enough she pushes off the building and leaps across the street to the window she already broke. Ignoring the cameras and the streamers, Felicia has work to do.

Diana quickly finds an open door that the young girl supposedly walked through and inside is a man on the ground, smoke coming up from the vents around, and filling the apartment with unbreathable air as well as fires beginning to lick at the roof from a hole on the side where the fire below broke through the floor. The man is holding what looks like a bunch of things, a photo album and a manilla folder of documents, birth certificates and things of that nature in the folder and him on top of it, struggling to even breath it's so thick with smoke in the room.

Diana Prince has posed:
The fire is a rager, to be sure, and Diana worries about the neighboring buildings as she makes her way through this inferno.

When she comes across the man, she is quick to kneel beside him, her eyes quickly rushing over him, and the things he had been trying to save from the burning fiasco.

"Come, we must get you from here." The Princess murmurs as she puts her arms under his neck, and knees, moving to lift him up off of the floor, those items staying upon his chest and stomach as she does so.

She's turning toward the window she'd come in through, only to see a wall of flames blocking her exit point..

Diana turns toward another window, where she puts the tip of her boot beneath a sofa, and thrusts the piece of furniture toward it, causing it to smash out the glass as she then kicks it aside and leans down to duck through it, carrying the adult man like he weighs literally nothing to her... Her eyes look down from this vantage point to what lies below, and she steps out of the building once more, carrying the man with her as she tries to get him from the lung burning smoke...

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Oh crap." Felicia says as she touches the wooden door to the apartment with the back of her hand, and doesn't feel it as being too hot so she quickly opens it. The suit made by the tinkerer some time ago starting to get a little stuff, but, she takes a deep breath, makes sure the zipper is up near her neck and lets her breath out as she steps into a place that looks quite similar to the one Diana is just escaping from only she finds a pair of adults still sleeping on their shared bed. The scene causes Felicia to pause briefly, but the sound of something below crashing causes her to quicken her pace. "Shit shit shit shit shit." She mumbles as she quickly grabs both people and hefts them, one on each of her shoulders. "Oh shiiiiit." She says as she gets to the stairwell and starts to cough herself, while looking up and down, finding up the only way that even kind of makes sense.

Finding the door already removed forcefully, Felicia shrugs inwardly as she steps up into the clean air and takes a deep breath before coughing harshly, needing to spit some of that soot back out onto the gravel and take another breath.

Stepping to the lip of the building, she looks down and over to the near by building and pauses as she was pondering jumping when the whole roof and a side of the building shifts. "That wasn't good."

"That wasn't good." Repeats the fire chief as he frowns, "Wonder Woman." He calls loudly and motions her over. "I'm getting reports the building is getting ready to collapse and I got six men still inside..." He says with a sorrowful look towards the princess. He needs to ask her but he knows how awful that is what he's asking. "Can you keep it up, just enough to get everyone else out?"

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana was on her way down again when she heard the fire chief calling up to her. She lands a moment later, and places the man in her arms on to a waiting gurney. When she steps toward the Chief, she looks up toward the building, and a second later, she breathes out a sigh...

Up in the sky, the Invisible Jet shimmers in the dark, as it suddenly becomes VERY visible! It's elongated cloud-like hull making it look like a dagger just hovering there in the sky.

"Tell your men that the Jet is waiting for them on the western corner..." Diana mutters to the Chief as she places a hand on his shoulder.

"I will do my best to make sure they all get free..." She says further before once more she leaps up in to the air, and crashes through a window, taking part of the building inside with her!

The Visible Jet, now extends a wide wramp toward the hole that Wonder Woman leaves in her wake, the ramp like a bridge in to its safe interior for those who need exit from the building's burning blaze!

Unfortunately, Diana doesn't know where Felicia is at the moment, or what her status is...

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Yes! I said get to the western corner. Yes. A floating. Jet. Don't ask me what why or how, just do it." He says, as the building shifts again as another support structure within cracks and causes ripples throughout the building.

Felicia up top has two adults on her shoulder and is looking down as she backs up from the ledge as she sees a jet suddenly appear in mid air and simply hover. "Oh. What luck." She retorts before noting to herself stay away from the inlets, that's how jets hover, and then takes two steps back to give herself a lead up to jump onto he top of the jet. She will find a way to pay for any damage she causes. Some how.

Diana Prince has posed:
Felicia lands atop the Jet with a surprising ease. It's like the hull of the Jet actually grips at the heroic woman's boots, precisely morphing to make it easier to land upon the vehicle. This is no normal jet, that much is quite obvious. It's not even making any noise as it hovers there, just silently apart of the scenery now...

Inside the building, Diana is moving toward the Firefighters. She's pushing at their shoulders to help direct them as they try to make it under the smoke. "Go, go, go!" She orders them, those that she can see, and hear.

The last one, holding a child, Diana helps take the kid from their arms, and starts to rush toward the exit with the Firefighter right behind her. Once they reach the ramp, Diana hands the child back. "Take her in to the Jet, it will drop you off on the street when you all are aboard!" She assures him before she looks further around the building's interior.

"I am going to do another pass, make sure that there are no more waiting, or hiding within!" She shouts further.

Back on the Jet, Felicia will see a opening just form itself on the surface of the vehicle, allowing her a easy access to just drop inside, should she be desiring to do so. It just 'fades' in to view, like a ghost might.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Okay..." Felicia whispers to herself as she lands and without a problem she feels firmly planted. "Weird." Felicia mumbles, as she looks back towards the building, watching Diana usher fire fighters into the belly of the jet.

Once the men start to shuffle in, Felicia finds a hole, growing in the jet and she can't help but feel a bit awkward about this but she does lower the two victims in her arms down to the surface of the plane before she peeks in, hair dangling like a now grey and filthy mess, "Um. Any of you fine looking gentlemen mind helping me?" She asks before they look up and nod, "Whatcha got?" "I got two vics that could use some work." She says before disappearing up the roof and then moments later she's lowering the woman down into the jet followed by the boyfriend. "Thanks cuties. Now get this thing outta here." She orders before stepping away from the hole and over towards the edge of the wing to shout towards Wonder Woman. "That was everyone I saw up stairs." Quick, consice and not flirting or busy, it's an emergency after all.

Diana Prince has posed:
Wonder Woman is still there within the burning building's corner. She nods to what she hears Felicia shout. "Make sure that the street is clear! If this building starts to crumble, we might have people down below who end up beneath its debris!"

And with that said, Wonder Woman is vanishing within the structure again!

It isn't but a second later that the Jet starts to move too, after Felicia deposits those two people through that entry port above, the Jet retracts its extended ramp, like it absorbs the matter back in to itself, and the vehicle just silently starts to lower down toward the street below.

Soon it touches down, and the ramp is now forming perfectly with the street below it, allowing the Firefighters access to disembark, further showcasing the AI that operates the alien technology powered transport!

Inside, Diana is making her way through the hallways, passing between the flames, her body and hair just moving right through it, the flames not harming the woman's form in any way, shape... or form!

She peers in to rooms, rushes up stairs and bursts through doorways, searching, and tearing her way through it where needs be... She doesn't seem concerned about being inside the building were it to crumble around her either!

It's about the people who called this apartment complex home, and their safety...

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Once on the ground and the jet begins to allow those inside a chance to emerge, Felicia leaps off the side, and catches herself on a light post, but quickly stands tall, "Hey. Everyone, step away from the building." She shouts.

The fire department and the cops have already cordoned off the area, but she's making sure the influencers and reporters or wanna-bes are away from the potential danger. The fire department is clear and behind the stableized trucks with the hoses still spraying into the windows and exposed walls, dousing the flames where they can, but the damage is already extensive.

Within Diana is starts to get a reassured sense of accomplishment, knowing the building is clear of any tenants or victims within. The lower floors were out by the time they arrived, and the upper floors were mostly clear except for those that she and Felicia rescued. The way the building is complaining about the situation though is warning enough that it's about to give up the business of standing.

Diana Prince has posed:
Just before the building starts to look dangerously like it is about to fall apart at that corner, Diana emerges from within it, and she sweeps herself around to push at the corner, to cause it to fall inward at the roof! She pushes with intense levels of her inner strength, leaning in to the building and pushing until it begins to crumble inward.

Of course, this is a challenging affair, and to help her with this, the Visible Jet is right there, now having lifted up in to the air again to come up beneath Wonder Woman.

Debris starts to rain down on to the Jet and slide off of it toward the street below, as the duo of Diana, and her transport work together to minimize the damage to the street below.

The building will start to push outward, as Diana glides down it, pushing the debris back toward the interior of the burning structure, her hair waving in the smoke, fire, and debris crumbling beneath her powerful arms, her hands trying to guide it as best she can while the Jet is there to shield the street from what Wonder Woman is unable to stop from crumbling away!

Felicia Hardy has posed:
This isn't Diana's first rodeo, she's able to read on her past experiences and makes sure she's in the correct position to urge the building to go down the way she wants it to when she wants it to.

The building does give way, but thankfully the base that hadn't been on fire easily takes the damage of the few floors on top collapsing onto the floors the building itself. Thankfully everyone had gotten out and at this point, the hoses remain on to try and force the dust to settle rapidly to make sure everyone else is going to be safe.

On the street voices scream and cameras roll as the devistation quickly happens, Felicia however remains on the near by lamp post and waits to see if Diana will show back up, as she is concerned, but she knows this is still a young night and the city is vast. She does feel that itch from growing and being a thief for so long that she needs to get away from here.

Diana Prince has posed:
The cloud of smoke, debris billowing outward, the fire being somewhat extinguished by the collapsing rubble. It creates quite a eye-blocking ordeal for those all around, observing in the 'show' of this horrible situation.

As the fire hoses rain water down upon the burning debris, the smoke starts to clear apart, spreading away, and Diana is there, hovering above the property with her hands at her sides...

She is joined by her Jet, which raises up out of the smoke behind her, leaving trails of it to waf gently off of its hull as it raises further up in to the night sky, only to shimmer again as it goes back in to Invisibility mode...

As Diana completes her full turn around, she looks down in to the crowds, and spots Felicia on her lamp post. She gives the woman in black a single nod, and a light smile that comes and goes quickly from her crimson hued lips.

The water continues to rain down around the Princess, and she starts to lower down toward the ground again, to speak to the Firefighters, other Emergency Service workers, and the people of Hell's Kitchen... to be there to talk to them, and reassure them that she's always here, trying to help.
