Synopsis: Annie gets Bruce up to speed with the Solaris Project and its strange side effects.
Cast of Characters: Annie Mei, Bruce Banner

Annie Mei has posed:
They've been working on this experiment for months now, with the first sets of data starting to come back after analysis. A number of heads of their fields have been brought in to help go over the results of the experiment and offer suggestions for moving forward. One of those consultants being Dr. Bruce Banner. Annie has been tasked with seeing Dr. Banner is greeted and shown to the office he'll be using, making sure he has all of the data and that she provides him with whatever other assistance he might require.

She waits in the lobby, holding a pile of manilla folders that contain all the data, a thumbdrive that has all the necessary programs, and a bright smile. The young woman tends to stand out with her bright pink hair (natural!) and her brighter green eyes (also natural, though they've gone from a pale green to a very bright green that he might find oddly familiar). She's wearing a lab coat, a green pleated skirt, a white button-down shirt (untucked, but meant to be that way), and green tie with a white star at the end, and a pair of comfortable for nice slip-ons.

When he arrives, Annie will step forward with a bright smile and an outstretched hand, "Dr. Banner? I'm Annie Mei, I'm working on the Solaris Project. I'm here to show you to your office and provide you with anything you might require. And on a personal note, I am delighted to meet you. Your work is legendary!"

Bruce Banner has posed:
A few changes in his life have led Banner to dress a little better when he's out and about. Previously it had been bargain basement gear because he knew it'd end up shredded at some point, but now it's a relatively cheap suit that's been neatly pressed.

He startles a little bit at Annie's approach, but gratefully extends a hand to shake her offered one.

"Oh. Hey. Well, thank you very much. I've heard good things about your ... being radioactive."

Annie Mei has posed:
Annie cheeks flush bright pink and she winces, offering a half smile and a nervous laugh, "Ohhhhhh, ha... uhm. Yeah. That... that's, they really shouldn't have said anything about that." Releasing his hand after the shake, she rubs at the back of her neck then glances up at him, "I'm.. trying to keep that semi-quiet. Like, I can't do anything about the accident, there were over half a dozen people in the lab when it happened. But I try to.. well, here, follow me, I'll show you." She hands him his temporary badge and offers, "This will get you into most of the basic areas of the labs, you'll need permission and accompaniment to get into any of the restricted areas but I don't think that will be a problem."

Moving along, she ducks her head and hurries along to open the first door, ushering him through. Like most labs, there's a labyrinth of hallways that go everywhere and nowhere. She takes him down a path that gets them to a set of offices, opening the door to the second one on the right. "This will be your office, there's a pc with basic programs installed. This thumbdrive has all the project specific programs on it. I'll get you set up with email and access to the secured server where all the raw data is kept. These are printouts of everything that's been compiled and analyzed." Setting the folder on the desk next to the pc, she glances into the area, then closes the door and looks to Bruce, "And this... is the result of the accident."

Holding both hands up to her middle, about basketball sized space between them, she focuses. Crackling green energy moves between her hands as a ball of the energy builds in the middle. It gets to about the size of a baseball when she sttops and looks at him. "This is the part the others don't know about."

Bruce Banner has posed:
Should Bruce be offered a radiation dosimeter, he waves it away with a shake of his head.

"I'm okay. I'm, uh, good with radiation."

That said, he follows behind Annie when she guides him further into the lab. He looks at the office over the top of his glasses, removing them in order to wipe some dust from the lenses.

"You'll ... understand if I work remotely most of the time. I -- "

He turns in time to look at the ball of energy being formed. He regards it in silence for a moment, even extending a hand to prod at the air around it if not the energy itself.

"Uh ... huh ..."

Annie Mei has posed:
Annie watches for his reaction, looking as he pokes at the air around it. He'll find a buildup of sheer 'force' around the ball that blows at the cuffs of his shirt and jacket back, he can even feel the 'push' of it blowing against his glasses, ruffling his hair. It does the same to her, though neither of them are affected enough to be physically moved by it.

She clears her throat and gives a nod, "So... yeah. Uhm. There's more. But.. this is all I can do safely in the lab." Pressing her hands together, she compresses the ball down before absorbing it into her hands and then brushes her palms along the front of her shirt.

"The experiment is working... but we need to find a means to draw the solar power down in larger quantities so we can store it for longer periods of time. I'm proof that it's working. But obviously we'd like for the use and storage to be in proper receptacles and not /people/." Annie offers a half-smile and shrugs, "So... you said you'll need to work remotely? Are you sure you don't want to be on-site so you can view the tests as we run them?"

Bruce Banner has posed:
"Maybe ... "

Once the energy ball is gone, Bruce appears thoughtful about the whole process. He observes Annie closely, looking for other things that might be responsible for her state.

"Hm. Maybe. It's more a matter of safety. Especially with high doses of radiation involved. And I don't mean ... my safety, if you catch my meaning."

He shakes his head: "Do you have the original schematics for this? Can I see them?"

Annie Mei has posed:
Blinking, Annie laughs, "Is that all? You don't have to be in the lab itself. You can be in the observation lounge! Fully shielded, it has... five? different viewpoints from the cameras in the lab... it would let you see how the experiment is being run but doesn't put you in danger of taking on any radiation. /I/ got irradiated because I was inside the testing area, recalibrating some of the equipment and Todd accidentally hit the console, starting up an experiment run. Normally the failsafes would have kicked in, but when he landed on the console it started a cascade of issues that glitched out the failsafes and well... now you have me."

She pauses, then nods, "Oh, sure! Right here..." She moves to the file cabinet, opening the drawer and rifling through until she comes up with blueprints. PUlling them out, she holds them out to Bruce with a smile, "If you give me thirty minutes, I can get a copy with all the proposed modifications for the next round of testing."

Bruce Banner has posed:
"That'd be great," Bruce answers, taking the documents and splaying them out on the desk. He looks down at them critically, reading and examining as he moves around the desk to take a seat in the chair. Once he's comfortable, he leans forward and murmurs a few things to himself while tracing a finger over the lines.

"Okay ... okay, yeah, this is really advanced. I'm not surprised there were some strange side effects."

Annie Mei has posed:
"Yeah, we... sort of blew right past basic and jumped straight into the deep end..." Annie offers a sheepish smile and shrugs. Perking up, she offers, "I'll go get the modified blueprints and bring them back. Feel free to make yourself at home here and I'll bring back some water and coffee while I'm at it!"

Smiling brightly, she heads off to get him the new blueprints, and drinks.
