Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie has brought Alexis back up to the area. He showed her where he learned to dance today. "Stevie taught us to dance back there we had dance class once a week, as was more an extra P.E. class." He leads her to one of the booths and orders them both a soda, knowing which she prefers by now.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis accompanies Sam on another tour of the area, giving a light smile, wearing her 'in cognito' disguise of a Salem Center sweatshirt and comfortable jeans and sneakers, leaning back in the booth a bit as she looks around the diner. It was... old looking, but the smell of a diner is unmistakable, and everywhere those long counters are.

    "it makes sense, she takes dance very seriously. All ballet dancers do. Even my father."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "She was really good from what have heard, but she had hurt her knee by the time we met her." He smiles and says "This is one of the places we would eat, there is a burger joint down the road a bit but we got kicked out of it once so try to avoid it.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "You? Kicked out of a place?" the girl gives a wry smile. "I can't beleive you'd be kicked out of somewhere though I am dying to know the details." Alexis gives a bright smile.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and says "Well, we had a friend with us who did not quite understand how to eat in public, and there ended up fries, burgers and chocolate milkshakes all over the place

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... ooch." Alexis winces. "Yeah, that's a good reason to be kicked outta a place--" she states, and then leans back a moment, pursing her lips.

    "So... the school. I'd like to go, sometime, and maybe meet the gent in charge. Jean seems very nice and respectful. Her I like quite a lot. Very, very different than the other one."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "I am hoping to take you up there, let you meet Scott. Jean and Scott are running things with the Professor away. I maybe taking some classes at another school too, I have been considering.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "It probably wouldn't be a bad ida for me to... refine my control." she gives a wry smile over to him, and curls her fingers as the waitress returns -- and the girl with that dark hair and those doe-like eyes orders the biggest hamburger on the menu, with a side of fries and a milkshake.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and says "And you figure if it is a place used to it Earl has a better chance of staying in one piece?" He asks her grining a bit at her and orders the same for himself.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Errol is a fine reptilian gentleman and I will broke no maliciousness on his behalf, thank you." Alexis replies wryly to Sam, cracking a little grin as she stretches her fingers. "And yeah. I figure if I'm better in control..."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, his head a bit to this and says "I am considering something I wanted to know your opinion on since it can effect you as well hon.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Oh? What's your inquiry?" Alexis inquires, eyebrows rising up as here lips pure. She leans in closer, but jut a little, regarding Sam wit curiosity.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks to her, and says "What would you think it I told you I am considering going to the police academy?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I'd say you're crazy. You're headstrong, you don't enjoy having rules placed down on you, you most assuredly prefer to lead, not follow, and I cannot see you issuing citations for parking violations." Alexis replies firmly, and truthfully.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmms and says "I was thinking they could use some more cops in mutant town who would actually not being there, and try to actually do good things for the community.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Why... not just do good things in the community? What's stopping you from doing so?" Alexis asks, her lips pursing a moment as she rubs the back of one hand, and she raises her eyebrows, looking to Sam.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "I plan on doing good thing and helping out, but was just thinking it would be good for folks to know they could trust the police and that they were looking out for them"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Until you're axed for being different." ALexis replies dourly, brightening onceher chocolate milkshake arrives.

    "So... that's a serious thing you're considering then, Sam? Joining the police?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Ah am thinking about it yea, and volunteering for working mutant town. So, I take it you really don't like the idea of it?" He asks her."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "I... worry about it." Alexis finally admits. "We live on the barest edge of Mutant Town, and more and more I can see -- and feel -- things get ugly. And at one point, people in authority positions have to choose what they're willing to be... and what you're willing to give up for it." she replies, and rubs the back of her head.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie takes her hands, and says "Well, I was thinking of doing it for the people not for the power. I just thought would be good for the kids there to be able to go hey there is someone we can go to and such,

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "And then you get called against giant robots or supervillains and men with guns and then what?" Alexis points out, and she rubs the back of her neck with one hand, her other squeezing his. "I'm... not going to dissuade you a lot, Sam, if it's something important to you..."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Well, Ah was thinking about it and your opinion is really important to me too hon. Ah mean Ah am hoping our choices will be for us for a long long time."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Allegra weighs her options and she gives a small shrug. "Well.. yes, it would affect us for a long time, but if it's something you want to try, Sam, I'm willing to be patient and see how it turns out. he replies, giving a slight smile over to him. "I'll just hve to do an awful lot of worrying."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie steals one of her fries, and says "Now worrying aboutt he other one wonder why that seems familiar." He grins at her

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Says the man who broke into an anti-mutant function to make sure the girl he was crushing on was okay." she points out, nomming on one of her fries in defiance.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie grins and says "So see I know a wee bit about worrying." If it helps I had three other mutants as back up." He teases her a bit

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Yeah, and who's going to be your backup as a bobby in Mutant town? What about the school. Don't they have advanced programs there?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Yea, but would be taking college classes there, and I probably know most of the combat type stuff better than most cops already, well except pistol. I am only an ok shot with pistol, better with a rifle."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    Alexis gives a nod, and she shrugs her shoulders. "Well. I am not one-hundred-percent behind the idea of you becoming an officer, Sam, but if that's something you want, I'll be behind *you* a-hundred-and-ten-percent." she states.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie leans over the table to kiss her "I love you Alexis, love you with all my heart."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Oi!" Alexis protests, shifting their meals over a little bit so that poor Sam doesn't get ketchup all over his shirt!

    But she does kiss him back, the much shorter girl giving a small laugh. "I love you too, Sam, which is why I worry!"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and grins at her, "Should I tell you some of the crazy things I have done already?" He teases her a bit
