Leading a double life is never easy. Allegra Caradenza is the aloof, quiet daughter of a retired dance master-turned-Pro-Human Activist, who tours Europe and the Americas to spout anti-mutant propaganda, psudeoscience and advocate for the higher billing of human artists against mutant artists is, when her father's gaze is elsewhere, Allegra sneaks out and lives as Alexis Carr, pro-mutant street performer and participant in the odd pro-mutant protest, funneling money to charities that provide sheltering and legal counsel to mutants. Hiding her pyrokenetic powers from others in fear of discovery -- and the possible rammifications on her professional life -- Alexis works hard to keep her lives separate and her family safe from her pro-mutant activities.

* 2002: Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Filipe Caradenza and Molly Fiore.
* 2004: First experience playing piano, age two .
* 2006: Began regularly playing piano recitals, began learning violin and ballet
* 2008: Accepted into prestigeous Saint Cecelia's School, headmastered by her grandmother Dame Mildred Fiore. Intensified studying of piano, violin, ballet and operatic singing.
*2010-2014: Toured with her father's Humanity First group, used to raise money for anti-Alien, anti-Mutant activity.
*2015: Acidentally burned her own dress in discovering her pyrokenetic power. Graduated from St. Cecelia's
*2016: Moved to NYC with her father. Continued to be showcased as human talent as Allegra Caradenza. Alexis Carr begins performing on streets, especially in Mutant-centric neighborhoods. Alexis Carr partcipates in protests against the Mutant Felon Resettlement Statute, accidentally torches a dumpster and several trashcans.
*2018 Filipe files for divorce from Molly Fiore, two part amicably. Filipe and Allegra are featured in Humanity-First and anti-mutant/alien publications. Allegra releases an album of classical music and original compositions called 'Meditations'. It is received well on classical music charts. Allegra begins studying Freerunning to augment her ballet training.
*2020: Alexis plans to spend more time funnelling money towards mutant-centric shelters and upping street performances as her father picks up traveling more for his pet causes.

Personality
Personality:
Allegra was born to a life of wealth and luxury, an ancient pedigree and fine living with moderate nobility. She tries to exude, while keeping her motives secret, an air of aloofness and indifference, with accusations of racism and living in an ivory tower jabbed in her direction.
That being said, Allegra prides herself on three things: kindness in the face of adversity, joy in the midst of sorrows, and class among those who've forgotten that what they have can be taken away quite easily.
Kindness, first and foremost, is a value indispensable to Allegra. Even when she's trying to keep a low profile in New York, it's just not in her nature to pass someone by who might need help, to treat someone poorly because of their situation or to turn away from a need. The two years she has spent building herself in New York City was the roughest she has ever had, and she's learned a new appreciation for not only her talents but proper lessons on civility from her grandmother -- a little tact and compassion goes a long, long way.
Joy, second among her virtues, is something she relishes both in giving and feeling. Seeing faces light up as she plays piano, or mimics some popular song on her violin for the amusement of someone else makes her feel good. She delights in watching old folks dance in the street if she's busking, or little kids jump up and down, and even the camaraderie among college students as she plays through Billy Joel's Greatest Hits, even though it's the third time someone's requested Piano Man in the last hour.
And finally, and most complexly, Class. Allegra tries to exude this in spite of her worn clothes she wears as Alexis, playing in the street and through acting like a proper lady, but also imbuing a sense of the Gentlemen's Code -- never hesitate to help, or let someone handle for themselves when you can handle them. Be Truthful, always, but be able to keep in confidence what is told in secret -- after all, her own secret would threaten her safety.
Contrary to her usual 'keeping her head down', she cannot abide by bullies, classless actions and senseless violence. She has occasionally picked fights she knows she can't really win in confidence that the afflicted victim can make an escape. She tries to speak ill of no one (who doesn't banefully deserve it) and find just that little spark of good in everyone, and it is with the above attitudes that she approaches her life.
She tries very hard to be the good she wants to see in the world, even on the days she has to hide behind her mask.

Powers
Flight:
Alexis is capable of short bursts of flight by super-heating the air around her. Her clothing tends to singe during flight. Her range is currently 150 feet with poor caloric intake, 400 feet with high caloric intake (4k+ per day)
Heat Immunity:
Alexis is immune to the effects of heat up to 1500 degrees Farhrenheit (a bit hotter than a normal house fire). She can comfortably handle fire, hot plates, and pull hot things from the oven with her bare hands.
Pyrokenesis:
Alexis is a Pyrokenetic mutant with the ability to create and control fire, manifest heat in her extremities hot enough to melt through steel without harming her own body. Her ability to create fire is limited to her hands and feet, but she can control fire within a fifteen foot radius, including fireballs and fire she did not create, inclusive of extinguishing fire within her area of control at will.
Skills
Ballet:
Alexis is a skilled ballet dancer in the English style, she has a strong command of skill and rhythm and is strong on pointe. In her professional life she performs regularly in ballet.
High Society:
Whether it's genteel high tea or demurring in a crowd during a white tie event or knowing what spoon to use if the courses are served out of order, Alexis has grown up in Old Money society and is used to its workings.
Instrument Mastery:
A virtuoso on piano and violin, Alexis has played professionally since she was a child, hailed as a prodigy and has been showcased as a pinnacle of human achievement as Allegra Caradenza. She has taught herself acoustic guitar and is talented enough to make decent money busking with it, as it's easier to transport than a piano.
Parkour:
Alexis is comfortable with her parkour and free-running skills, which she used originally to augment her ballet training and has found the physical activity engaging -- and useful if she ever has to run from a protest.
Performance:
Knowing how to act and work with a crowd, large or small, Alexis is no stranger to either the stage or the sidewalk. She rotates signs based on the crowds she's playing for when she's busking, and in her professional life engages the crowd with passion and a great deal of love for her craft.

High Scociety Life:
As Allegra Caradenza, this young womn has lived all her life as one of the one percent. Old Money Families and classical music afficionados alike know the names Fiore and Caradenza. When acting in official capacity, Allegra has access to hundreds of thousands of dollars at a whim, and considerably more with planning and permission from her father.
Weaknesses
Caloric Needs:
Using her mutant powers takes a considerable amount of caloric intake, double the normal human intake -- but it's difficult to consume so much when you're being watched. If she uses her mutant powers without consuming the required calories, Alexis will become shakey and irritable, lose the ability to utilize her powers, and if unresolved, pass out. It is possible to overextend her abilities in a quick manner to the point of injury or death.
Double Life:
Leading a double life isn't easy in the best of times. Leading a double life of a pro-mutant busker and performer while your professional life has revolved around being displayed as the best that Humanity has to offer in music makes it complicated, especially when others try to market your face. Allegra keeps Alexis separate from her in all things, utilizing hanging out with different crowds and choosing nights her father is away to slip out of the house and live her truer life as a mutant.
