Cast of Characters: Dawn Granger, Hank Hall

Dawn Granger has posed:
It had become a habit that Dawn would drop by Hank's room when she was free, but she still continues the polite habit of knocking. Having finished teaching one of her public classes, her braid is a little loose and she's slightly tired but looks comfortable now that she's changed into black leggings and a long sleeved tunic style top in red. Even if it was her usual dropping by, this time she had some convincing to do.

Hank Hall has posed:
Accordingly, Hank had grown accustomed to Dawn stopping by. They had given up on pretense and excuses and settled into an easy habit. For some reason the default had stayed as Hank's room - he certainly would pay a visit to Dawn's but for the most part he was the host of their times. Maybe it was a secret tactic on Dawn's part to force him to keep his room clean. Er, anyway.

He was doing chin-ups with the bar across the doorway to the bathroom when she enters, and continues after telling her to come on. He is sure she would not want to interrupt his exercise routine. He also suspects that she would not kind watching him do them, face angled back to he can rise above the doorframe, the muscles of his back visible as he wears only a pair of sweatpants.

Dawn Granger has posed:
Entering the room and shutting the door behind her, Dawn glances over as she notes the exercise routine and does, in fact, take a seat in a chair to watch. Settling gracefully on her perch, she notes the routine with a thoughtful look (aside from the appreciative one).

"I hope it's not just arm day," she teases.

Hank Hall has posed:
Laughing as Hank continues the workout, he shakes his head a bit. "I'm up for working out whatever you want me to work out on any day, Dawn," he replies, as he does another few reps before lifting up and dropping down to the ground. He turns to face her as he retrieves a towel, brushing it across his forehead and then dropping it onto his shoulder. "Got any suggestions?"

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn leans back slightly in her chair, giving Hank a once over as if assessing him. "Hm, I'm sure I could think of something," she replies. "How about... dance?" She's entirely aware that's probably not at all the suggestion he would be expecting.

Hank Hall has posed:
The expression on Hank's face at that suggestion speaks volumes. "Dance?" He laughs, reaching up to snag the towel and tosses it at Dawn's face. "That's a good one, Dawn. Dance." He laughs heartily, leaning against the door jam and watching her.

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn grins, catching the towel before it gets to her face, and she folds it up semi-neatly given it's just going to go into the laundry. "Mmhm, and what if I said you'd be in good company doing it with some of the Titans? It's good for flexibility. I know you tend to take attacks straight on, but sometimes you /do/ have to dodge."

Hank Hall has posed:
There is a slight roll of the eyes at Dawn folding the towel, but Dawn is Dawn. "Which Titans?" Hank takes a moment to look at Dawn, knowing for sure that she is one of them. But others? "If I dodge, then it just goes past me to hit whoever is behind me, who might not be able to take a punch as well as I can."

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn gets to her feet, headed in his direction. "I've already pretty much got Vorpal, Beast Boy, and... I think he's going by Batwing now. So, everyone's going to have some fun learning and have the added benefit of flexibility." She offers him a winning smile. "Pretty sure most people are smart enough to know to not hide behind Hawk. Besides, I'd be grateful and I'm pretty generous when I'm grateful."

Hank Hall has posed:
"Batwing?" Hank shakes his head and laughs. "Well, that does sound like an appropriate group for it." He looks at her as she approaches, an eyebrow raised skeptically. "You don't want my large lumbering ass in there, making everything harder for all involved. You would do better with a more flexible group to start." He swallows when she mentions generosity. She can see the walls are already starting to crack.

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn rests one hand on his chest. "I don't know about that. It's good to see all body types and builds being able to do things. You should see some of the male ballet dancers I've worked with. They were /built/." She flashes another winning smile. "Besides, you'd get to spend time with me?"

Hank Hall has posed:
"There are some things that my body type and build should never be seen doing, babe." Hank grins down at Dawn. "I'm sure they are built and have way better legs than me, but trust me, you don't see want to see me in any of those things." He laughs for a moment. "Some parts of me would be _way_ too distracting." He considers her counter point, thinking about it and nodding. "That may be true." He treads a careful line here, it seems. "I do enjoy every bit of time I spend with you."

Dawn Granger has posed:
"I won't make you wear anything you're not comfortable with /and/ we can show off some dance moves that are more complicated with lifts. You're already practically already set for that... pretty sure picking me up and holding me is within your wheelset." Dawn grins at him. "Leave the spandex to Beast Boy and Vorpal."

Hank Hall has posed:
"I could probably do just about anything to your body that you wanted me to," comes the response from Hank, almost without thought. Then he starts to think through what she is saying. "You know. I'll bet we would be quite a duo..." The wheels are turning. "You'd have to do the hard and graceful parts, though. I don't know how much of that I have in me."

Dawn Granger has posed:
Dawn can't hide her grin at the words as they just flow out. She reaches a hand up to touch his cheek. "You don't have to do anything too complicated, but there are a lot of moves that require there to be a strong pair of hands lifting me up. Plus, it's good practice working as a team, and having other people there who are distracting."

Hank Hall has posed:
Hank snickers at that. "You think _anyone_ could make me take my attention off of you?" He leans into her hand, smiling down at her. He takes a deep breath, and then sighs, nodding finally. "But I have to see whatever outfit you intend to me wear first. And I have to be ok with it."

Dawn Granger has posed:
"You have full veto powers over costumes, I promise," Dawn says, leaning in to steal a quick kiss. "You're right though, I think you'll have to make sure to be aware of your surroundings even when I'm there. Although what you're saying is incredibly romantic, even if not practical for battle."

Hank Hall has posed:
A nod, and then Hank accepts the kiss, leaning in to allow it to linger for just a moment. "Veto power sounds good," he admits, as he starts to envision just what it is he might be looking like. "Hey, I said I won't be distracted. Doesn't mean I won't know where anyone is. I have a really good sense of that. Had that since before I had powers." He laughs. "It was tough, always being the biggest and the strongest." He grins. "I don't even exercise," he says, adopting a really poor gravely French accent.

Dawn Granger has posed:
"I bet there were some perks to being the big strong guy around, though," Dawn says, cracking a smile. "Perhaps a bonus to that would be lifting ballerinas as if they were made of paper and letting them sail gracefully across the stage. Lots of excuses to lift me up as Hawk and Dove, less so when it's /us/." She's really enjoying being able to use that word for something other them crime fighting partnership. She moves past him, tugging his arm. "Now, let me go see if you already have something we can work with in your wardrobe..."
