June Connor has posed:
It's about 7:30pm on Sunday night when June's new new phone number calls. She hadn't really planned to bring him into this, but...she's got problems. Big problems. She was planning to join Elektra to help her in Gotham, right after running an errand on another mission. That didn't turn out well. The streets of SoHo aren't a common spot for trouble, so the cops here don't really know how to handle problems like ninjas. She alights the top of the fire escape, fully geared out. A rare situation for her really. A pair of hook swords are across her back, and the IR flocksheet suit makes her little more than a moving shadow in the night. But it's so uncomfortably hot. She holds the phone to her ear, and pulls the shozuko from her face. "Pickup...pickup-pickup-pickup!" She glances over the edge of the building, looking for her pursuers.

Roland Livingston has posed:
"Hello," Roland says into his cell phone after answering. He's currently in his big apartment going through some dusty old books in his office. "How are you, June?"

He's dressed casually himself in jeans and a button up shirt, having intended to stay inside with his studies this evening. One of his books is titled 'Cryptids of North America.' Another is 'Supernatural Threats of the Americas.' The third just happens to be, 'Legendary Artifacts of the Western Hemisphere.'

June Connor has posed:
"Roland!" June's voice says something's wrong right away. She's breathing hard. "So you got all this experience fighting these mysterious bad guys that wanna steal your shit, right?" she asks, pushing up and starting across the rooftop. "You wanna fight ninjas right now?" Yes, she said ninjas. "Because-" She stops. The phone is silent for several seconds. The sounds of a struggle can be heard. Metal clashes, "Hyuk!" comes that sound of someone who can't scream because he just had his lung punctured. A few smashes, and there's a clattering of the phone being grabbed. "Cuz I could use some help," she pants as she returns to the phone.

Roland Livingston has posed:
"Or whose shit I want to steal, sure," Roland replies quickly to June as concern grows on his features. "Where are you at?" He switches the phone to speaker so he can start getting ready. Most of his adventuring equipment is in the office with him, including a couple of big safes full of weaponry. He goes to one of them and quickly spins the lock to grant himself access. Inside is body armor, a helmet, a rifle, a sword and a war belt with a holstered pistol, a bunch of pouches and a sheathed knife attached to it. He starts putting it all on as he says towards the phone, "You need me to bring anything for you?"

June Connor has posed:
"Just get here! I'll be on 10th heading north!" June takes a running jump, and manages to clear the gap to the next building. Those are so much harder than they look. She rolls, "What car will you be in? I'll look for it," she grunts, sprinting for the next building.

Roland Livingston has posed:
Once he's armed and equipped the Englishman heads to the elevator and takes it down to the garage. His bike, a barely street legal Ducati racing motorcycle, awaits him. He puts on a pair of goggles to protect his eyes, climbs onto the vehicle and starts it up, pulling swiftly towards the garage's exit. "Ducati Superleggera V4 motorcycle. I'll be there soon."

Roland drives fast. He's not worried about tickets, secure in the knowledge that the police wouldn't be able to catch him anyway. His supernatural reflexes help him zip through traffic, dodging between automobiles and occasionally driving up onto the sidewalk to get around stopped vehicles. In his haste he's pretty much ignoring any sort of traffic laws.

June Connor has posed:
Well, that makes him easy to spot. It's at the Foot bridge on 10th and 19th that June hears the traffic sounds. She feels a shuriken strike her shoulder. That smarts. She sheds it with a hook sword and then uses the curved blade to swing around the railing. She drops to a delivery truck below. Now she actually has to be seen. Flocksheet suits are great for being hidden, but terrible for the reverse. She grabs hold of the edge of the delivery vehicle only to find a dart that missed her hand by centimeters.

She glances down the street. That car on the sidewalk must be him. She slides down the front of the vehicle, giving the driver a start. Naturally he hits the break, giving her a superhuman seeming leap from the vehicle as she's launched toward the sidewalk in front of him. She lands in a roll, coming up as possibly one of the ninjas she wascalling about, and quickly rips off her mask so that her face can be seen.

Roland Livingston has posed:
When he sees her face, Roland nods at June and motions for her to get on the back of the bike, "Get on, lets go."

The engine on the vehicle revs as the Englishman scans his surroundings, looking for potential threats to engage. "Unless you want one of them for questioning, or something."

June Connor has posed:
"Fuck no I don't got questions for them," she blurts, holstering the hook blades and snapping them in place befor getting onto the bike behind him. Three land in front of the bike just as she lands, rushing the two of them with nija-tos extended, blood red uniforms of the Hand.

Roland Livingston has posed:
"Shit!" Roland exclaims when the ninjas appear in front of him, preventing him from pulling away from them. "Let me get these bastards out of our way," says the adventurer as he jumps off the seat of the bike, drawing his sword and rushing to engage. The Englishman certainly seems to know what he's doing and doesn't hesitate as he attempts to run the closest through with his longsword, "Time to find out how tough ninjas actually are."
