Well, the day started out alright, with bright blue skies and chirping birds. There was a slight chill in the late autumn air, but it's a mild day nonetheless, perfect for a crisp little flight. Maybe that's why Megan is out and about today, wearing a light, green jacket overtop a thin black sweater and jeans.

Those unmistakable wings pop out of the jacket as she twirls and dances in the sky, totally unaware of the sudden chill in the air, or the approaching storm..Right up until a sudden powerful guest of wind yanks her from the sky, throwing her off balance and sending her plummeting towards someone's backyard pool..

Ted Kord has posed:
Megan must be a little dizzy. Because the backyard pool is actually next to a penthouse. It is pretty big though in fairness to the young Mutant. Ted is in the living room unpacking Chinese take out. He is an expert at that, disassembling the cartons and spreading them out to form little platters. "You guys did a good job ordering, this is just too much food. I mean Joan isn't here. But this was a good test of problem solving. And... "

Kersploosh. Water from the pool hits the glass doors. Ted had a glimpse of the slim shape that fell in the pool. He sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose. "Which one of you ordered me a girl? Joan'll love that. C'mon guys. Let's see who dropped in on us." Bailey buckles Ted's gun belt on. Bingo fetches his goggles. Luckily he was wearing the rest of his uniform. Leading a formation of bots, Ted marches out the door, a very large bot at his side.

To be fair, it'd normally take a lot more than a powerful gust of wind to cause her to lose her balance while flying, something which she is particularly agile at..However, perhaps she is a bit dizzy, a bit feverish, coming down with something perhaps? The splash of cold water sure doesn't help and she coughs and sputters, trying to right herself and regain her senses..

Ted Kord has posed:
Ted Kord regards the sputtering, winged form. "Shit. Get her out of the pool Bobo." He regards another bot making a finger gun gesture coldly. "No, I'm not shooting her. Bingo... shut up. I will deal with her. And put the 'zooka away!" The largest bot peels off to grasp the young woman and lift her carefully from the water. Its thrusters actually blow her hair out. The shivering girl is set on her feet by the Blue Beetle.

"Um, hi there, miss, are you in distress? You're among friends, whatever you are. We never turn anyone away. I have years of evidence to back that up. Uhm, Bailey get the young lady a... oh." A smaller bot with flame decals already has a very warm robe. Ted drapes it on Pixie's shoulders. "Oh I'm Blue Beetle by the way, or Ted. I guess you heard of me?"
