CLUB NIBELHEIM

Set up in an abandoned warehouse in the Brox, from the outside, that's all the building seems to be. Word of mouth that spills through the usual chains of gossip says otherwise. The building seems to be completely sealed. Windows boarded up, doors chained shut save for one single unmarked door that's propped open with a length of discarded pallet board. Outside, only the sound of late night New York City is audible. This changes immediately as one enters the door.

Inside the door, it's dark. What seems like a winding hallway is really just a trick of construction. It's also immediately -loud-. This place clearly has a DJ spinning, and it's not the rave style. Dark, thudding EDM with notable tracks spun into it by acts such as Portishead, London After Midnight and things in a similar vein.

It must be Goth Night.

Once one clears the makeshift hall, the warehouse opens up into a massive dance floor, lined along the outside with ice sculptures depicting fantastic beasts and monsters. Three bars are immediately visible, two on the ground floor and one up in the old office area above. They seem quite popular.

At one of these bars is an incredibly tall woman, probably six-foot, seven inches in heels. She's dressed in what seem to be vinyl hot pants with fishnets, low boots with four inch heels, and a long sleeved top that is only closed by four belt-like buckles in the front, showing off quite a bit. Her black hair is short in the back, barely to the base of her neck, and sweeps down to cover her left eye and shade her right. Her eyeliner is winged and fierce and she is, of course, wearing black lipstick.

In her hand is a glass of oddly scintilating liquid that she peers at curiously before taking a sip. It's an awkward motion. Like it's new.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
There's been all the nominal sorts of chaos with the Asgardians. Mary Jane only follows them much in the trails of the likes of which one might track gossip. So she's off-duty, there's talk of an asgardian club where the mead flows freely and so do many other things.

Mary Jane is not there for the mead. No, no matter hwo -much- that other in her might want a bit, Mary Jane is well aware she does not have that level of stamina in her system. While she's having an internal conversation.. ~I don't care what you remember, I'm not you with however many generations of alcohol tolerance built up in~ <You have to -start- building it up> ~Yes and I'm not starting it on something that will kill me as dead as you are~
The two redheads talking past one anothera s always ends with a level of annoyance radiating from them both.

Mary Jane isn't -quite- Goth (she's more the perky type no matter outfit) and is wearing a shredded looking AC/DC shirt that someone grabbed from a bargain bin rather than any heavy affection for the group, a set of thick jeans.. And very, very big boots. Combat boots with steel toes underneath their half inch rubber soles. Them's good stomping boots.

Also there's a huge basterd sword on her back the likes of which looks like it came out of an old King Arthur movie strapped on that she's jogging around in that at least gets some to stay out of her way - or at least look over at her weirdly for wearing. She's definitely not asgardian..

There's a twitch over in her personality as the mroe socialized edge and aspect rolls off, and she goes to a harder, firmer posture.

Divine has posed:
The sword gets looks, but not that many looks. The folks that seem to be running the show are Asgardian, after all. The normies are the ones who eyeball MJ and that big piece of steel that she's brought into a nightclub for Reasons. as it seems she's just surly and not aggressive, people give her some space and mostly ignore her since she doesn't seem like she's going to be -any- fun.

The incredibly tall woman drinks half of her drink and makes a bit of a face. It's not dislike exactly, more like a realization. Something making sense. Then she downs the other half in no time and motions for more. She, too, seems to notice the redhead with the sword who is making -her- patented expression. That makes her look puzzled. All these people having fun, and then there she is, looking unhappy to be here.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would glance over at the very, very tall girl and head over in her direction. Her posture goes to relax a bit more, shifting and then taking a more fitting manner as she would bobble her head along to the music, large sword bouncing on her back. She would glance over at Divine..

"Not doing anything for you?" SHe would inquire. "You're braver than I am. Just the smell of that stuff makes me feel like I'll be out for a week."

INside of her head there's a mocking round of laughter that has a quickly fading bout of irritation cross over her face that is quickly smoothed over.

Divine has posed:
The clone peers down at Mary Jane, being nearly a whole foot taller than the other woman in her heels. "The opposite, actually. I'm ... different. Human-made alcohol can't touch me, but this stuff can." Her dark eyes sparkle in the sweeping colored lights that spray into dancing colors through the ice.

"I like it."

The guy behind the bar brings her another, something slightly different. This is a deep amber that seems to radiate heat. The half-Kryptonian takes a sip and the swallow seems rough. She smiles in pleasure. "I might like this too much."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would oh, "Got it. And is what you're having human made aldohcol or.." She would jab a finger at one of the Asgardians. "Their's? I'm guessing that if that's human made stuff and just looking at it has me going dizzy I really don't wnat the real thing." SHe would quip.

"So that one seems to hit the spot?" The redhead would comment to the Goth girl, grinning. "If it did looks like you have a fave."

Divine has posed:
"Oh no, this is theirs. Stuff they brought from where they're from. I was kind of looking for something like this. I wanted to see what it's like to be drunk," Divine says simply. "My ... metabolism won't let me with Earth-stuff, so I had to cheat a little."

Oh no, is this giant lady going to be a lightweight? That remains to be seen. She peers at the sword, tilting her head slightly. "So why a sword in a nightclub? Afraid someone will ask you to dance?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would glance about and then inquire, "Your metabolism? You from Bushwich?" She would inquire; a polite way to ask if the other woman was a mutant. "And I figured if I was going to be coming to somewhere like this I might as well play the part. These places have brawls and they tend to escalate quickly.."

She would go on. "And it would be a shame to not be able to join in one."

Divine has posed:
The reference to Bushwich goes right over her head. She is, after all, still a little uninformed about things. "Huh? No, I'm ... Uh, half alien." On one hand, she probably shouldn't share it too much. On the other, well, she can probably keep up physically with the people running this show. So unless her template shows up, or any of the other heavy hitters, she should be fine.

Unless there's a wizard. Then she's hosed.

"I'm Divine, by the way. Sure you don't want a drink? My treat." Okay, Emma's treat, but no one's asking.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Aren't asgardians magic? Then she might very well be. Mary Jane would qiup over at Divine, "Don't we all like to think so?" She would qiup. "Michelle Jones, nice to meet you here." She would offer her hand forwards to shake. "And I can barely pick myself up off the floor from that half one you had when I walked in here, the full one would have me breaking my head on the ground. I'm definitely not doing the real one.."

Her face would twitch for a moment and hse would mouth 'no you shut up' before looking back. "So, please feel free to have the one you were going to give me yourself!"

Divine has posed:
The half-Kryptonian takes MJ's hand and shakes it politely. She noticably does her best to keep her grip at a human baseline level. She largely succeeds. No broken bones, anyway!

"Don't mind if I do, Michelle. Though I've never been drunk before, so it might be interesting."

Hopefully she's not an angry drunk. She finishes the current and orders another, because she's apparently an amateur lush. Sipping on it, she scans the crowd, just looking at the dancing people.

"There's lots of pretty people in here. I'm kind of surprised."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson wouldn't quite wince at it. She'd gone through the game sof 'who can have the stronger grip' and it was definitely this girl. At least she wasn't going to need to use that hand for an hour or two before blood flow came back to it fully. "Well, first time for everything. First time sneaking out to get yourself loaded while parents were'nt paying attention?" She would glance about.

"THink that's the norm, depending on how one defines pretty." The 'working on it' model would consider. "People go out and they want to be appreciated. Whether it's thier battle scars or thier outfits."

Divine has posed:
"Not exactly," the clone answers, finishing yet another Asgardian beverage. Ger face is a little flushed now, and she leans back, resting a hip on the bar. "Hoo boy, I think it's kicking in. I feel weird. ... Not bad, though."

She smiles slightly to herself. "I'm learning how to, well, be human. I need to go out and experience, and I chose to try this out. The music is good, I can actually feel the drinks, and there's attractive people to look at. A win for sure."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would glance over at Divine and smile, "WEll.. Whatever ti is I'm glad that you're enjoying and experiencing it. You're not.." One of the Asgardians? She definitely looks big enough to be.
"I'm glad that you're in a state then where you can try things. And I'm sure that you can get quite a bit of eye candy of any type in here."

Divine has posed:
"I...don't really feel comfortable sharing. Nothing personal, I just don't need it to be a thing." She shrugs. It does interesting things to her buckled shirt if you're into that kind of thing.

"There's plenty of it here, that's for sure. Whatever variety you like, too."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would nod, "Of course. That's totally your right. Sorry for having made you uncomfortable. And I'm just out for a night on the town and to dance a bit. Not looking exactly to be on the people watching side of things." She would grin.

Divine has posed:
"Dancing with that sword's gonna be difficult, isn't it?" The clone replies. She doesn't -know- exactly, but has a hunch. "Don't let me hold you up from dancing, though. I don't know how, so I just watch."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would pff, "Who said anythingabout dancing? I'm looking to put the functional end of the girl into the middle of things. It's going to happen." Presuming it's looked at, -yes- the sword is real and -very- functional.

Divine has posed:
Given her enhanced vision, Divine knew the sword was real the instant she laid eyes on it. Combat steel just looks different. "Well, I guess good luck, and don't get arrested?"

What else is she supposed to say?

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would grin, "Well, I didn't say I was going to start it.. Just if and when it does I'll be joining in. Good luck seeing your own interesting things here and exploring your human side."

Divine has posed:
"Thanks," the clone replies, starting to turn back to the bar.

"One more drink couldn't hurt."
