TXT to Wanda Honestly, except for Christmas Eve, I think tucking ourselves away somewhere is for the best. We should probably reach out to Steve and Peggy and see if they want to do something for Christmas Eve, though.

[Text to Bucky] Christmas Eve dinner sounds very nice. Chinese food, maybe something Thai? Saucy and delicious sounds up my alley though I'm not sure what Peggy or Steve think of that.

TXT to Wanda Steve's kind of a sucker for traditionalism, but I don't know what Peggy does for Christmas these days. Might just go for the full course traditional American x-mas dinner? I'll talk to them and see.

[Text to Bucky] I don't know how to cook a turkey. Do we need a turkey or is a ham good? Maybe a roast. I can ask if they'd like a proper English roast and all the trimmings. That flaming cake is always a hit.

[TXT to Wanda] I'm just going to ask them what their plans are and we can mold ourselves to them. If it involves you making that English roast or flaming cake, I'm not going to complain.

[Text to Bucky] Caribbean hot, Hawai'i hot or some place you never imagined you'd visit hot? I hear St. Helena can be particularly interesting. Pointed volcano, thousands of miles of no one else around. How does New Zealand sound?

[TXT to Wanda] Somewhere beach-y like Hawai'i, but maybe not Hawai'i? Does New Zealand have nice beaches? I didn't check when I was there in the 80s.

[Text to Bucky] New Zealand has beautiful beaches on the north island. I saw lots of pretty pictures of Australian ones but they get very busy. Somewhere like but not as Hawai'i as Hawai'i would be the Marquesas Islands or Polynesia. I bet we can make arrangements with the French government to do a protection run for them, something that would get us a few nights.

[Text to Bucky] Moreover do you know how happy it makes people to be offered help, especially when they tend not to register on the level of getting it? We don't have to do anything spectacular. The point is that we're there to offer some helping hands if we need it, and hopefully they won't mind if we hide on an abandoned beach after that.

[Text to Bucky] She's a young lady named Micola, who I met at a party on our birthday. Shows you how terrible my socializing has been. I'm rather horrified by how late I learned of it but that's life. She's got a talent like... a bit like mine anyway.
