Michael Hannigan has posed:
With Christmas having hit the rush to buy presents has since passed. The streets are peaceful once more with the crazed shop-

"I don't have a receipt but can I get cash for this?"

"This is the wrong size, can I g-"

Oh right. The day after Christmas where people escape from their respective families to make returns.

Yep. The streets are still crowded which makes ducking into a restaurant to get away from the madness seem like a great game plan.

Preferably with alcohol.

Not having anything to actually exchange but wanting to get out of the condo for a bit, Mike has found himself at O'Shughnessy's Restaurant. It's been awhile since his last visit to this restaurant but his search of various grocery stores in the city to find an item that was out of stock did bring the restaurant back in sight and consequently back in mind.

Either way, in the crowded restuarant, Mike has managed to find himself a place at one of the tables. Already a glass filled with a dark substance rests in front of him. Along with an open notepad where he's seemingly jotting down notes. The chair in front of him remains empty.

Marc Spector has posed:
Christmas was over.

Even still, a Spector still moved through the empty night. The figure in white still performing Khonshu's will as the protector of the night. Yet, when all was said and done, when the bones and necks were broken, he returned to a night of silence. Where crime and vengeance had not yet streaked into the sky. Though, he had hummed as he walked through the streets, a newsboy cap atop his head with thicker clothing to protect from the cold.

Jake Lockley.

Perhaps the most dominant of the personalities, the underworld informant and criminal mastermind had come to O'Shughnessy's for a drink and a break from uber driving. It was the holidays. Well, the day after the holidays, even the hardest working souls require a bit of a break yeah?

Yet, when he sees Hannigan sitting down at a table, he looks at the bartender and asks for a Guinness. He walks towards the man, reaching for the chair with a gloved hand and taking a seat. "Merry Christmas."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Pale eyes glance up as the chair in his line of sight drags back across the floor. The familiar looking man from some rather odd incidents registers upon his memory. Although the outfit is new. There's the faintest smile of recognition as the rockstar lifts up his own Guinness in a toast of greeting. "Merry Christmas. How're things?"

Marc Spector has posed:
"Fine."

Jake's way of speaking was less....polite than the perosnalities of Marc Spector or Steven Grant. Though the faint smile is not so easily returned, the eyes darkened and serious, as if unhappy. Though he does eventually scoff and a smirk appears on his face when he notices the drink of the man's choice. "Nice drink." He looks at the note the man is writing. 'Song lyrics?"

He clears his throat. "I trust your doing well yourself?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike nods to the acknowledgement to the drink choice, looking to Lockley's own choice. "That it is. One of the go tos when on the road." Mike replies, looking over to the notepad once there is a question regarding it. "Yes, just because you're not actively working on something doesn't mean the ideas don't stop coming. Sometimes it's a jumble." He idly flips back a page to another unfinished sheet, looking to the words on it, "I find writing or drawing it helps get the thoughts in order."

While not overtly detailed, Mike is a bit more giving with his responses. "But yeah, doing alright. Got pulled for a project that starts filming next year. So, guess I got a couple more weeks before I have to go back to the stage name."

The musician looks to Marc curiously, "So how are you and Mo doing?"

Marc Spector has posed:
"Broken up."

Jake remarks a bit....sternly. "Quite broken up. Decided to call it quits, but we're amicable." Jake retorts, though as he's looking at him, he nods. "Good man." On the drink. But, as he clears his throat, he rests his hands on the table in front of him. "That's sensible. Have you tried drawing it in monochromatic?" Jake remarks, though he keeps his full attention on the man, he hears that Michael is getting pulled for a project.

"Good. You acting in it or doing the score?"

Fair question.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
The response from Jake gets a bit of a brow raise. There's a momentary pause before the musician responds back. "Sorry. Didn't know." Glancing down, he closes the notepad. "I mostly do greyscale when sketching but I guess I could switch up the color base from time to time..."

Distraction closed, the musician looks back over to Jake. "Acting, but I will be involved with music too." He considers Jake for a few moments before he goes ahead with the question. "Did you hear the rumors about the movie that's mainly going to be produced in the Gotham, New York, and Metropolis areas next year?"

Marc Spector has posed:
"Nothing to be sorry about. Sometimes shit doesn't work."

Jake shakes his head. "It went well, for awhile. But complications are complications. Can't control what is, only what /can/ be." Jake says in a rare bit of insight, though he nods. "It might be good. It helps to see the transformation."

Jake was an aspiring artist. Steven and Marc never cared for it, but occasionally it hits in just the right way.

"Interesting." He remarks. "Didn't hear any of that. Need protection?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Hmm. Might try that next time."

But on to the movie discussion. "Well, I know sometimes productions or select studios do get threats directed to them. I haven't heard of anything of that nature regarding this production." Mike pauses. "Wait I'm getting ahead of myself- Were you talking about protection for the film or more individual?"

Marc Spector has posed:
"Individual. I don't really care about movie crews - they have specific protection for that. Was more of the meaning that death threats and random shit happens and I'm not above giving favors for friends."

Jake considers Michael a friend? Oh happy day! (or is it?) Though he looks ahead at Michael, and looks a little bit past him at people who walk into the bar. Nothing wrong about them, just old habits.

"So what brings you to the bar? Just a drink? Meetin' somebody?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike chuckles, giving a slight nod, "You're not wrong about that stuff happening. And considering how many times I've had gigs and showings interrupted by people doing stupid shit when I'm in a position where I can't quite react properly to that- I'm inclined to accept whatever help you're willing to throw my way. Personal Security from someone I don't have to hide stuff from? Hell yes. Just let me know what name you want me to give Wade so he knows who to pay."

The musician brings the glass to his lips to sip at his beer, downing a sizable portion in a short amount of time. The glass rights itself up as Mike listens to Jake's question. "Oh, because of the film this is one of the few years where my schedule has been lightened up around the holidays. I know Wade scheduled it like that so I can relax but watching all those people running around in a panic during that time is oddly tiring." He gestures to the door where beyond it is a bustle of people running about making returns. "All that, makes me want a drink."

He takes another sip to make his point, smiling a little before looking back to Jake, "And you?"

Marc Spector has posed:
"Alright, I guess I'm moonlighting as a bodyguard now. I'm down." Jake references with a grin. "Lockley will do fine." Jake Lockley. From anyone looking into it, it's just someone trying to make his ends meet. Shouldn't b too much of a problem, but there's always /something/ you know? "Fair enough, man."

Jake doesn't ask too many questions. People get all tight and wound up during filming so it's nice to have a bit of downtime. "I'm just here to drink. Had a long shift driving the cab around. People kinda stiffed me once or twice, but beggars can't be choosers, yea?"

He shakes his head. "Other than that, just enjoying the holidays and the business it brings at night."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Service and retail jobs can be a pain. I do not miss my convenience store clerk days at all. But, I guess so long as you made a profit instead of a loss tonight it's all good." Mike allows, considering the description of the shift. "Alright, so Lockley." Mike repeats, making sure he's got the right alias. A regular person might question the change in names but considering the friends Mike has made and the requirements of his own career? Varying names IS the norm. Especially with eccentric rich people with lots of time on their hands. Apparently enough time to be driving cabs. "Alright. That should work. Probably would make more sense than the other name. Same number, or different one?"

How many work phones does one man need?
