Cast of Characters: Wendell Vaughn, Johnny Storm, Franklin Richards

Wendell Vaughn has posed:
Okay. Another day, another foray into the deep solar system. Running scanning patrols for alien energy signatures really eats up the hours. Wendell really wanted to try to have a normal life in addition to being 'Protector of the Universe'... really? The whole freakin' Universe? That's a lot to put onto one Wisconsin boy's shoulders.

But he has been doing his best to live up to it. However, tonight he actually took the subway. Yes folks, he didn't fly. He approaches the plaza with rental application in hand.

You see, he -intended- to be here several hours earlier, but time got away from him on his patrol. Maybe he can drop it in a night slot or something.

Johnny Storm has posed:
Johnny Storm is just coming out of the building, wearing a snug leather jacket, black trimmed with orange, over a crisp white t-shirt and designer jeans. He has on a pair of sunglasses, his hair grown out a little longer and pulled into a manbun on top of his head. Despite pushing fifty, he's still in pretty damn good shape. He gives a slouchy wave to Wendell, cocking his head and peering for a moment.

"I know you, right? You're the guy? Right?"

Franklin Richards has posed:
Thankfully outside this cold particular day was Franklin with a long stick. The young adult of a person stood there head to toe in what looked to be Fantastic Four swag. From the blue, and black hoodie to the black pants with the four in a circle on them. He stands infront of a fire with the same kind of clothing in what looked like a metal bason. Lost just kind of looking at it, as he pokes it with a stick to make sure the fire got it all he sighed to himself as something.. just felt off.

Glad this was not related to that he looks up as the action in the front and decides to approach the two. The fire should be fine back there, and he was curious who this new visitor was that Johnny seemed to know.

Wendell Vaughn has posed:
"The guy?" asks Wendell. He's dressed in pure civies. A suit that is only slightly wrinkled. He didn't have time to iron it before dressing and racing over here. Trying to make a good impression, but potentially making just a less bad one.

He looks back over his shoulder, and then back to Johnny. "Wait. You're Johnny Storm, right?" he asks before breaking out in a grin. "Think I could get an autograph?"

Sure, the thermal energy set the Quantum Bands to tingling Wendell's brain through their neural link, but they're concealed at the moment. His blue eyes flicker towards the fire, making sure it's in control before he looks back to Johnny, hopefully.

Johnny Storm has posed:
Johnny Storm grins, "Oh, right, right, sorry, the...the whole..." he starts to say secret identity, but then that defeats the point of a secret identity, doesn't it?

"I can't remember your...actual name," he says, "But yeah, of course. Sell it on E-bay if you want or treasure it in your heart forever, both are cool with me, big guy. I'm in a no judgement zone."

"Not counting you, Franklin Richards! Lurking! On your uncle! Hello!" he says, looking back over his shoulder.

Wendell Vaughn has posed:
The fact that he is dressed differently with different hair and all... Wendell -is- trying not to look like Quasar. But yeah, he's not doing the best job of it. Maybe he needs glasses. Yes, that'll do it!

But either way, he holds up a manila envelope. "I was coming by initially to drop of a rental application for office space in the building." he says... then he retrieves a pen from his jacket pocket and searches for something to have Johnny sign... before grimacing and shrugging, "Well, not like I can have you autograph the stuff I am leaving here..." And his voice trails off as subtle, yet undeniable energy readings spike in his brain. His eyes flicker towards Franklin and blonde brows go up. . o o O O (Well, that feels weird...) he thinks.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin smiles at the newcommer though quietly waits for Johnny to greet his new guest as he decides to hold on before doing the same himself. He is interupted from looming by his uncle, that smile turns to a grin as he starts. "Sorry about that I thought this might be some new thing for you." he chuckles a bit looking at the two. "I didn't want to interupt." he adds as he decides to come closer after giving his uncle a hard enough time.

Hearing buisness he listens in. "Oh, its a rentor!" and chuckles, "Didn't think those still existed here." he glances at Johnny, "Can we ask him stuff?" seeming to be confused on the process though mainly joking of course he had memorized all the rules a while ago.

Johnny Storm has posed:
Johnny Storm realizes what he's done. Because he does so much voiceover work, Johnny has gotten more and more used to just recognizing people by their voice (even when they're putting on a voice). He's always been terrible at faces anyway. Now he can see that Wendell does not look like the man Quasar, even though his voice is telling Johnny different. Oh.

"Hey, don't worry about it, man, sorry," he says, reaching out to shake Wendell's hand and leaning in, "It's no problem, I won't say anything and nobody checks the security feeds but me. And trust me, Reed's gonna know everything about you anyway. He does that weird Sherlock Holmes thing sometimes. Eerie."

"Yes, Franklin, some people still rent things. It's not all Air BnBs and Yahoo Hangouts!" he says. The cranky old man routine is just that, a routine, but one he enjoys using to provoke his babyfaced nephew.

Wendell Vaughn has posed:
"I mean, I'm just trying to set up a consultant firm for corporate security. Systems, sensors, cameras, and such." offers Wendell. "And I'd much rather be in -this- building than somewhere that my state of the art supplies would be more at risk of being stolen."

He grins, "First rule of security, don't use an unsecured location. Right?" he asks. Okay, he's really bad at job based humor. Well most humor.

The tingling in his brain from Franklin's high energy state is distracting him however, and he'll have to come back later and talk with the guy about it.

He does however shake Johnny's hand and adds, "Name's Vaughn. Wendell Vaughn." he says, stupidly in the general pattern of the 'Bond, James Bond' delivery.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin nods, and looks over at Johnny snapping out of whatever dark cloud interupted his focus he puts a hand on Johnnys arm lightly while still grinning. "I will make sure he wipes them properly just incase." he turns to face Wendell totally missing the aperent slight, "I apologize, Franklin Richards." he holds out a hand to him. "Was there an apointment or I could actually call someone inside?" he asks the new commer as he looks at Johnny, He might of been friends, but when it came to security, and anything about technology.

Franklin looked at him, and did see he glancing at times. He looked down a bit though not sure what he did. He just stands there with that smile looking back as if he seems not to be doing it on purpose.

Johnny Storm has posed:
Johnny Storm gives a good old professional shake, "Mr. Vaughn. I'll make sure you get put on Reed's calendar, a hundred percent. Now, he's prone to cancel all his appointments at any given time, if his magic brain suddenly gets an idea that he can't ignore. Which happens a lot."

He turns to Franklin, "What do you think, kid? What's the best way for Mr. Vaughn here to get a sliver of your Dad's attention long enough to get him to sign off on renting him a space in the building?"

Wendell Vaughn has posed:
Son? Dad? Wendell lifts both brows and just kinda waits. No sense interrupting the family conversation. He might learn something by being quiet. He learned that from his father. About the only thing he learned from the old guy. To shut up and listen and learn whatever you could.

So he just clasps his hands behind his back in almost a 'parade rest' stance while he lets the others talk.

Franklin Richards has posed:
Franklin chuckles a bit, and looks at Johnny.. "Date Val.." and laughs as that would get his attention for sure. "If your looking for a bit easier way then I would talk to Sue, or Val. I would help you, but they are usually the best to talk to about the house." he thinks about it for a moment. "You have a contact for when they are avaliable inside the forms I assume." he takes the folder from Johnny and sighs actually opening it looking at the details now other then just ask.

"If he told you to contact himm directly though.. I will warn ya nothing any of us could do.. You are a project my friend." he glances at Johnny with a smile, "But it doesn't sound like that kind of deal for these prices." and chuckles again.

Johnny Storm has posed:
Johnny Storm nods, "Frankie's got a good point. I know you want Reed's attention. But do you...really want Reed's attention? Right under his nose? Because a man with secrets...secrets are a thing that don't last long around Reed Richards. He's not like a detective, he just...notices and remembers. Everything. Ever. So keep that in mind."

"But I assume if you fill out all the paperwork correctly and submit it, it will...eventually...be processed." He sighs, then looks at Franklin.

"Do you want to text your Mom or should I?"

Wendell Vaughn has posed:
"I want an office space to rent. Not sure who's attention would be best for that. Do you have like.. a building manager who handles that sort of thing? Or is Doctor Richards more of a hands-on sort of guy?"

He shrugs and tilts his head a bit. "Whatever you think would work best is fine by me."
