Hank Hall has posed:
Hank Hall is asleep in his bed. Alone. For now.

Hank Hall has posed:
It has been a few weeks now since Hank woke up in bed with Dawn. But Greer. A Dove's body, a Tigra's mind. Rowr.

Since then, he has made friends with a few Avengers, not the least of which was the one that saw him naked, much to both of their surprise, and some others trying to puzzle this together. And he has tried to spend time with Dawn, in the body of Divine. It has been an interesting time, to say the least, and he has not slept well. Not that he ever had a problem sleeping alone, of course. But without Dawn around, he just felt unsettled.

But one thing he had taken away from this, with more delight than he could have imagined, was when Greer told him she she felt nothing for him. It had solved something that had been weighing on his mind for quite some time, and he was pleased to put it to bed.

Dawn did not love him because of her connection to him as Dove and Hawk. Dawn loved Hank. And that had made him very happy to learn.

It almost made up for the fact that he had not been able to be comfortable around her for weeks. Well, not exactly - he was striving not to be too comfortable. All agreed that Divine's body had to be respected, and so Hank had not so much as touched her since the night when she flew into him on the Tower. And he missed something as simple as holding her hand.

Nonetheless, Dawn had settled in last night in his room, trying to find some sort of normalcy. There was enough room for both to leave room for another full person between, which they did.

And so Hank went to sleep, with the mind of Dawn next to him, and the body of Divine...

Dawn Granger has posed:
Briefly, Hank had neither mind nor body of Dawn nearby when all had been righted with things. Divine was not keen to stick around, and Dawn had to head back from where her body'd been kept company by Tigra. So when she's back at last in Hank's room, in her own body, Dawn is utterly relieved. There he is, sleeping where she'd left him.

Shutting the door behind her, she heads quietly to the bed again, crawling into it and enjoying the feel of familiar sheets. She scoots up close to Hank, not trying to wake him as she settles herself in close, head against his chest. /This/ was where she was supposed to be.

Hank Hall has posed:
Hank was so accustomed to having Dawn sleeping with him, that the past few weeks have been decidedly uneasy for him. So when he realized that there was a head against his chest, and he felt a presence next to him, at first it seemed normal. And then, very quickly, he realized that it was not the new normal. Not at all.

His eyes fly open and he shifts a bit as he feels the woman next to him, and there is a bit of confusion in his eyes. Did Greer find her way back? Was this Dawn?

"What's going on?" he says, as he tries to drive the sleepfulness out of his mind.

Dawn Granger has posed:
"Hey," Dawn offers softly, reaching a hand over to touch his cheek. "Sorry for waking you, I know sleep has been rough. I just wanted you to know I'm here." She leans in to plant a kiss on his forehead. "You can go back to sleep, I promise I'll still be here when you wake up if you need a few hours." This time, she'd still be there, body and mind alike. "It's /Dawn/, by the way," she says to reassure him, just in case his tired brain still is sorting out things.

Hank Hall has posed:
It takes a few moments for that to really sink in. At first, Hank just kind of mumbles in appreciation of the suggestion to sleep. He really does need his sleep, and he has not gotten much of late, at all. But then the name rings in his ears, and he realizes just who it is that is there. "Dawn?" he says softly, turning his head to orient towards her.

And then he knows. Most assuredly. All of it is there, the cadence of her voice, the way she runs a hand against his cheek. There is no mistaking it. He almost starts to cry with happiness as he reaches an arm around her. "You're back. My god, you're back!" He hugs her to him as if he is afraid that something will try to tear them apart again.

Dawn Granger has posed:
There's a bright smile from Dawn as she wraps her arms around him tightly in response. "You seem almost as happy to see me as I am to /be/ me," she murmurs. She's doing her best to be calm and collected, but just hearing the tone of his voice has her burying her face back in against his chest. "I missed you, Hank," she says, her voice soft. "I know I've been here but I missed it being us, like this. I'm so sorry I couldn't get back here sooner."
