Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp has decided to come check out a new bar. He tries to check out hole in the walls, or other places where he might be able to go and not get as many odd looks, and this place promised to maybe be the second. So into the bar a chimp walks.

Sally Pride has posed:
Any place that's willing to serve mutants without asking too many questions is worth the check. But coming down the stairway into the sublevel establishment Sally gets a bit of amusement in seeing a familiar face having already entered just minutes before her. "Great minds think alike it seems," she comments, pulling a hand from a pocket of her jacket to wave briefly to the primate private eye.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over and chuckles. He was headed to the bar, but will pause and let Sally catch up for him "Well imagine seeing you here." He chuckles a bit "Been here before or checking it out too?" He will ask

Sally Pride has posed:
"First time," Sally replies. "It's takes time for word to spread about places like this. But word of mouth is usually a better opinion anyways." She shrugs and smiles. "It's good to see you again though, Chimp. The beat keeping you busy?"

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over and says "Had a job brought me into town here, and heard about it, so figured I would check it out and see if it was decent hit the bar or table?"

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride nods. "I would figure as much. Bar's fine." The lioness claims a stool for herself, tail making a loose loop around the base to not get in the way of other passing patrons. Rubs a fingertip along a scratch in the bartop. "Looks like this place has seen it's fair share of action already. Probably why they picked a reinforced location below ground level."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods his head a bit to this and will climb up on the stool, and gets the bartenders attention "Boiler Maker for me, and the lady's first drink is on me." He tells him, and nods to Sally, as he says "well not surprising probably some dumb asses daring one another to go start shit, but not thinking how out numbered they would be when they started it.

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride chuckles a bit. "Probably. No denying us mutants can be... reckless." That's the nicest way to put it. "Bloody Mary," she tells the barkeeper after Chimp offers to pay for the first drink. "But I imagine for every couple willing to be asses, there's more that wouldn't want to wreck one of the few places they can go indiscriminated and would put a quick end to it."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods a bit and says "True, so anything interesting been going on in your neck of the woods, heard anything more from the guy I introduced you to?" He asks about the other feline.

Sally Pride has posed:
"Seems to be keeping a low profile." Sally leans on the bar with one elbow. "We did find that missing friend though. The dog mutant." Sally huffs softly. "Though not before she got a bit .. roughed over. But it's good having her back."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods his head a bit to this and says "You able to show the ones who did it the errors oh their ways? I met a dog recently, but was more normal dog with telepathic abilities than a mutant dog." He admits. "Seemed an ok kid, was looking for someone here on earth."

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride snorts. "It was one of NULL's divisions. Needless to say, there's little left of that division. And the other dogs they hadn't mutated yet were returned home or to shelters to get taken care of." She gives a shake of her head, and a gulp from her drink to move onto a different topic. "Telepathic, huh? Not the weirdest thing I've heard." Considering the two having the conversation.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods and says "Seemed to be one of the Russian dogs that was sent into space, or a descendant of one of them. Complete with the space suit. I will admit am more used to animals that are at the higher range of thinking/cognitive abilities being either anthropomorphic or magical, but not unheard of." He admits "Oh you hear about that big cats, got catnapped a few weeks back?

Sally Pride has posed:
"Honestly I'd probably say the same thing. You're probably the least morphic intelligent animal I know. Russian, huh? Guess maybe that's why they never recovered some of the dogs they sent into orbit." Sally herself was named after an astronaut so probably no surprise she at least knows of such history. "Yeah. But wasn't much I could do about that." Sally rubbed under her nose with a finger. "Probably should just be glad I wasn't one of the targets."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods, and says "I was starting to look into it when it was handled by some others. " He admits, and says "You should meet my friend Rex, maybe he will come by some time and I can introduce you, he is a normal appearing dog, but a rather smart fellow, and can talk as well."

Sally Pride has posed:
"It got handled, that's the important part," Sally replies, nodding. And then smiles a bit. "That could be interesting."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods a bit and says "So, things going well with your group in general, now that got your friend back? Still need to introduce you to Tawnky

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride takes another sip of her drink. "As well as can be. Try to keep a low profile, but every so often trouble still finds us. But it is what is, we make due and watch out for our own."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods his head a bit to this and says "So, mind if I asked, you thought about trying to set up identity papers? I mean you can probably pass as human enough to get some with the right help, not having them sucks."

Sally Pride has posed:
Sally Pride turns to look at Chimp with a tilt of her head. "Identity papers?... and yeah, I'm probably the most humanesque of our little group." She gives a shoulder a shrug. "I was told it was because being a pilot requires very specific parameters... Thought it was never clarified if they tuned my mutation that directly, or just took advantage of the results fitting the requirements."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods, and says "Social security number, licenses, stuff like that. I run a business and without legal papers, it is hard to enforce the whole pay your bills." HE orders another drink after finishing the first.

Sally Pride has posed:
"Ah. The paperwork that allows you to actually... work." Sally nods. Then chugs down the end of her drink. "Considering how often I'm behind a vehicle wheel." She swivels her stool around to stand. "I guess its something to think about. Keep in touch, Chimp. And thanks for the drink." She raises one hand in light wave/salute before turning to amble out of the bar.
