Spring Is A Beautiful Thing
Date of Scene: 04 April 2023
Location: Roof Tower
Synopsis: Folks at Xavier's gather on the roof tower on a brisk Spring day.
Cast of Characters: Kitty Pryde, Lorna Dane, Remy LeBeau, Ororo Munroe, Rahne Sinclair, Evan Sabahnur

Kitty Pryde has posed:
The snow is finally going. Or gone. Mostly. The weather is warming up now that April is here. There may even be some green starting to poke out, blades of grass that sense the warming. Leaves that are just starting to bud on the branches that have been bare for months.

And it's windy. Which makes for great kite-flying weather. Which is what Kitty is doing. She's relaxing in a lounger chair up on the open area of the roof by the tower. There is a beverage in a glass with ice cubes beside her. Looks like iced tea. And she has a kite string in hand. The kite she's flying is big and made to look like a dragon. It undulates some as it flies. And Lockheed is up there, flying circles around it.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Bare feet on the cool, even cold grass is something she hasn't done in a long time, and the first few steps caused the monarch to seethe gently. Half an hour later Lorna is walking around the grounds getting her feet dirty with grass stains until she spies the kite and smiles. Moments later silver appearing jewelry is molding up her arms until she's secure in her own custom flight harness and using her powers, she lifts up into the air to join the kite. Carefully with green hair flapping wildly in the air as she gives a wave to Kitty below.

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Lockheed spots Lorna first from his aerial view. He darts down, flying circles around her that seem the dragon equivalent of a dog getting the zoomies at seeing someone they like. He soars back up then to circle about the kite a few more times.

Kitty gives a wave to Lorna as she spots the Genosian royal. "Hey Lorna," she says, forgoing the "Your Majesty" since it isn't a formal occasion. And Kitty and Lorna have gotten into enough trouble together when they were at Xavier's she figures it's probably ok with the green-haired mutant.

"I didn't know you were back. Did you just get in?" she asks, knowing Lorna can span the globe pretty easily with Blink and another other teleporters giving her a hand.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy makes his latest return from a long, mysterious absence from the school looking for all the world like... well, like he's trying to make a low key return to the mansion and was, maybe, just maybe, planning to crash in the storage room up on the roof tower, given how he steps out to find... Lorna, Kitty, /and/ Lockheed. Well, okay, he allows that finding Lockheed while Kitty's around is... pretty reasonable. But it doesn't stop him from freezing like all three have motion-based movement, a battered cloth backpack over one shoulder and... a tuxedo on? Yes.

Yes, he is wearing a tuxedo. though the bowtie's not actually tied up, just sort of looped around lazily so it doesn't slip away. "...Nice weather?" it's about the best he can muster up with a helpless shrug. It's better than asking about sports, because someone might actually /want/ to discuss sports and then he's going to have to try and pretend he's watched any lately.

The basement. He should've gone for the /basement/ storage room.

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Lockheed zooms down again upon spotting Remy. Though Kitty already spotted him as well. "Hey Remy. Yes, it is," she says. "Won't be long before we can start laying out. Instead of-" she says, making air quotes as she continues "Doing that Danger Room mission in Florida and pausing it when the Sentinels show up."

She grins and gives the handle of the kite a twist. It has more than one string allowing her to guide the kite in the air to some degree. It's huge, bigger than a person, the dragon kite. Kind of realistic looking too, as such things go.

"Getting back from a casino?" she asks as she steals a look over at Remy's tuxedo. "Or on your way to one?"

Remy LeBeau has posed:
One hand lifts in a little wave, almost self-consciously, though he shifts to a far more confident little fingergun motion towards Lockheed as he swoops down, before he's glancing up at the kite, voice dry, "Is this... dragon fetch?" He sighs and shakes his head, plucking at his lapel almost contemplatively, "Nu-uh... it's laundry day. An' the washing machine at my place is... haunted? Broken?" He shrugs again, "Makin' weird noises an' refusin' to launder laundry so..."

He pats that backpick meaningfully, "Figure if I help cook some dinner I won't feel so bad 'bout borrowing the facilities."

He quirks an eyebrow curiously, "Sentinels showin' up again? They angry HYDRA borrowed their 'Big robots stomp 'round an' be a nuisance' schtick?"

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty Pryde gives a little grin at the laundry day comment. "Well, better than Logan sitting beside the machine in his boxers, drinking a beer and smoking a cigar while he waits for it to finish," she says. He didn't actually do that, did he? It sounds like something he might do, but then maybe Kitty's just poking fun at him. Which the fact he's not here will just mean she'll have to tell him she said that when she sees him next.

Or text it. Kitty pulls out her phone and taps away, cackling as she sends it off to him.

"Ah, no, just it's a nice sunny setting for sunbathing. I mean if you don't know how to program the Danger Room yourself and just make a nice pool with a few cabana boys and... er... not that anyone does that and stay out of my Danger Room scenario folder," she says, voice quickening at the end.

She lets her expression fall a little bit though. "Not that I know. The one we saved the President from was bad enough. Hopefully those things are all rusting in garbage cans now."

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy feigns a shudder at that mental image... probably. It's probably feigned, "Yeah, I figured I'd stop one day short of /that/ low on clothes. Do everyone a favor an' all." He snickers softly and rolls his eyes, eyebrow quirking as Kitty cackles and texts. "...Y'didn't tell him I was the reason you just thought of that right? Logan's revenge is /scary/."

Eyebrow quirks higher and he clears his throat, "Wait, they tol' me the Danger Room can't /do/ cabana boys and that's why I had t'fill in and..." He doesn't mention who 'they' might be, just narrows those dark eyes ever so slightly suspiciously. "Yeah yeah, what happens in the Danger Room stays in the Danger Room, an' the fact everyone has at least one program with a name of random letters is just..." He trails off and bobs his head with a sigh, "Yeah, I only tangle with one o' the bridge attacking ones and it was..." He heaves out a sigh, backpack dropping with a dull thud of intensely packed clothes within and crosses his arms as he leans out over the edge of the tower wall, "Well, coulda gone worse."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty Pryde's phone goes back into her pocket. "Nah, just can't pass up sending him a zinger though," she says to Remy with a grin. She adjusts the kite's handle again, sending the dragon swooping down towards the ground and then climbing it back up into the sky again.

She snickers quietly at Remy's comment, and no doubt can make a guess who might have told him that, if it happened. "Yeah, they are not fun to tangle with," she says, shaking her head. "I was never so glad as when they decided to scrap them all. Though that's the problem with technology, once it's worked out, it's there. Just thankfully only Trask have the details for how to construct them, and it's not something any two bit dictator could build. Probably still some out there, mothballed, though."

Lockheed swoops down to land in Kitty's lap. One of her hands moves down to scritch the back of his head. "So anything exciting been going on?" Kitty asks Remy.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy does his best to hold a straight face... well, not really. He's good enough at poker that it's pretty clear the little flash of a grin at that snicker is both genuine and on purpose. His eyes trace the path of that kite, shoulders visibly tensed as the conversation drifts towards more serious matters, "Yeah. Always the chance that bein' on the /targeted/ side o' the Giant Killer Robot equation will get the people in power t'realize they aren't fun and games and maybe not approve any more in the future." He heaves out a sigh, fingers clasping opposing wrists as he laughs and shakes his head.

"Nah, big robot, big fight, broken washing machine, all pretty uneventful, y'know?" He frowns thoughtfully and shrugs once more, "Thinkin' I oughta make myself a li'l more present around here, stop runnin' off every time I get that itch that things're getting too comfortable." He glances over and grins, "An' what about with you? I mean, kite flyin' must be a sign things're going a'right."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty sends the kite soaring off to one side, and then back to the other. She picks up her iced tea and takes a sip of it. It's not the warmest out, but warm enough she doesn't need a jacket at least. Though the tea does give her a little bit of a chill.

"Oh, I'm good. This is my lunch break, essentially. Working from home today. My server is tied up compiling so there's not a lot I can do at Stark for the next hour or two anyway," she tells him. "Love it though. It's fun work. They've got some great technology I'm getting to work with."

Lockheed head buts her hand to let Kitty know she didn't return to scritching him after sipping the beverage. She resumes. "Well it'll be good to see you around more," she tells Remy.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy shifts about with mildly nervous energy, hand lifting to rake fingers through that dark chestnut hair as he heaves out a sigh and grins crookedly. "Well, that's good. Always kinda figured you'd do somethin' good with a tech job." He clicks his tongue and murmurs dryly, "Showin' all that promisin' skill with the cabana boy programming an' all."

He frowns thoughtfully as her eyes Lockheed, patting his pockets and coming up with... no dragon snacks. Clearly, he needs to remember those for the future. "And yeah, I mean, with me around more the kids gettin' detention can at least try t'blame me for whatever they're in trouble for to escape Rogue's wrath an' all, right? Downright altruistic o' me to show back up."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
"Wait," Kitty says back to Remy. "Rogue is giving out detention? I'd have thought she'd wait for Scott to not be looking and give them a fist pump and a silent 'whoop-whoop'," she says with a warm chuckle.

She gets another sip of her iced tea, then returns that hand back to scritching Lockheed where he rests in her lap. A gust of wind comes through and the handle for the kite tugs pretty hard but Kitty manages to hang onto it. She twists the handle, the multiple lines causing the dragon-shaped kite to dive again. Kitty lets it bleed off some altitude before leveling it back out again, getting it down out of that stiff wind a little futher.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Another set of footfalls heralds someone arriving. Ororo arrives in short order, and immediately smiles approvingly at the familiar faces recreating on the tower. "I thought I heard voices up here," she explains with a self-congratulatory note. The weather-shaper is dressed a little light for the stiff breeze, in a modest, sleeveless white linen dress with a calf-length hem. Asymmetric blue squares have been dyed into it in some unrepeating pattern. With her hair done into hundreds of thin, beaded braids, there's a kaleidoscope of twinkling lights every time she turns her head. "And Remy, my my, you look very dashing," she congratulates the well-heeled Cajun.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy's tension is easing a little bit as he flashes a grin to Kitty and shrugs, "Maybe it's just me she uses the detention line on? I ain't gonna argue."

And despite hearing footfalls, he doesn't tense up again as Ororo approaches. Does he recognize her particular gait? No, no he doesn't. But people trying to cause trouble at the mansion usually don't go for 'walking upstairs' as part of the plan. And when he does crane his head around to catch the weather goddess coming into view, he doesn't even try to fight back the genuine grin on his face, lifting a hand in a little sketched wave, "'ey, 'roro. Promise we're not up to no kind of mischief or anything. We've barely even discussed any." He heaves out a sigh and plucks at the tuxedo like it's a prison, half-hearted scowl, "Laundry day. Also m'favorite coat still smells like smoke from those big robots." He flashes a brighter grin, "An' look who's talking! Well, maybe not /dashin'/... divine? I think y'count as divine."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty Pryde relaxes back in her lounger. "Lockheed, could you go get my sunglasses?" she asks the little dragon. He gives a flap of his wings, lifting off her lap and flying down towards the row of windows on the mansion where her room is. She'd left it open so he could get in and out for moments like now.

"Ororo," Kitty says warmly as the African woman comes out on the roof. "Like it? I saw a video online and then couldn't find another realistic one like this. Most of them are goofy looking, the dragon kites I found. So fabricated this one with Forge's help," she says. She sends the dragon kite soaring sideways, then it dives and loops back up as she turns the handle about to tip the wings one way or another.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne Sinclair has made her way up to the roof to actually get some and read her new book. She did not expect it to be so crowded, but it is a nice day so she shouldn't be surprised. She pause as she notices the looping dragon kite and then gives a respectful nod to Kitty before noting Remy, she raises a hand up and waves at the cajun before going over to the little corner that she usually picked and opens her book and turns to the first page. She begins to read the new book but she keeps her ears open encase anyone wishes to talk to or engage her.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy perks an eyebrow and darts his gaze back up to the dragon kite when Forge is mentioned... glances back to Kitty... to the kite... this little dance goes on for a good ten seconds. "It doesn't breathe fire, does it?" And then he's flashing a little grin and lifting a hand in a wave to Rahne sighing out and stripping his tuxedo jacket off to toss it onto his backpack and leave him in crisp white dress shirt that he /still/ winds up fidgeting with, tugging at collar and cuffs like an uncomfortable cat in one of those safety cones. And, well, he can't resist chiming out to Rahne, "So, what's on today's reading menu?"

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty's face lights up at the sight of the New Mutant arriving. "Hey Rahne," Kitty offers with a wave towards her. "Great day isn't it?" she asks. The sun is out and it's warm, though the breeze keeps it from being too warm at that.

She swings her head towards Remy then. "Heh, no, have to resort to Lockheed for that," she assures Remy. "Though I think it turned out really well. I modelled it on the computer and he helped me with printing it. Getting everything together was more effort than you'd think. It's actually a lot of separate pieces we had to bond together."

Kitty motions with the handle of the kite. "Rahne, want to give it a try?" she asks.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna pauses as Gambit asks that, she then looks up and blushes a bit. "Angron, the Red Angel...It is a Warhammer 40 book." She likes the literature to be honest, the setting however is something she doesn't like but after having heard of so many dark timelines and other alternate histories she is kind of used to it. She watches the kite for a moment before she smiles a bit. She puts her book down and then stands up and makes her way over. "Sure...Well if it isn't a bother that is.." She has never seen a kite like that before and it looks fun. "How do I fly it. Doesn't look like the traditional kite.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy's eyebrows perk up and he nods his head with a crooked little grin, "Oh! I watched /one/ video on Youtube 'bout that and now all I get are three hour long videos 'bout the background."

His reaction to Kitty is a playful, slight narrowing of his eyes... but she seems genuine about the kite not being a /fully/ functional dragon... though as he takes a closer look at it, he clicks his tongue softly and murmurs dryly, "I think you're underestimating how much effort I think that looks like it took!"

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty rides from the lounge chair, moving over to Rahne to show her the handle. Which is pretty much just an oval, with a bar in the middle with a rubber, no-slip grip for easier holding of it. There are three different lines tied to it, at the top and on either side.

"It's pretty simple," Kitty says. "If you tip it to the left, then it is going to tilt to your left. Do it a little and it'll fly to the left. Do it a lot and it'll turn far enough it starts to drive towards the ground. Tilt it back to the right and it rotates it to your right," she says.

Kitty demonstrates, skidding the dragon kite across the sky first to one side, and then to the other. She tilts it back and lets it dive, then straightens it back out. Once straight it starts to climb back higher again. "Can even turn it all the way over, just use both hands so you don't lose it as you turn the handle a full 360 degrees," she says. She shows that too, making the flying dragon do a little loop in the air.

When Rahne's ready for it, she hands it over, making sure Rahne has a good grip before releasing it. "It has a bit of a tug sometimes, if there's a gust, so keep a good grip on it.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
The young mutant carefully takes the handle and holds it as the kite wavers for a moment but then she gains control of it, she is a little unsteady at first but she slowly starts to get the hang of the kite as she gets it to do a few basic turns.

"Well it is a interesting setting, I don't play but it was recommended me to by one of the people at the school so I gave it a read."

She is not sure if she is going to like the book about a bunch of Khorn bersrkers and their roided up god going killing innocence but it is at least something to do when not training in the danger room or trying to stay alive when in the savage land.

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty Pryde smiles as Rahne takes over the handle for the 15' tall, dragon-shaped kite. The shaky moments pass and Rahne has it flying about the sky on the stiff breeze. "Awesome, Rahne," Kitty tells her with a smile.

It's about then that Lockheed comes flapping back up, having retrieved Kitty's sunglasses from her room, ducking back out her window to fly back to the roof. "Ah, there you are!" Kitty tells the space-dragon. "Thank you!" she takes them from him, and then he gives a few more flaps up into the sky after seeing Rahne has the kite controls. Lockheed flies a circle around it and then plays, darting about as if to get Rahne to follow him with the much bigger dragon.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Having noticed a couple people headed in the direction of the tower, Evan decided to head up and see if there was anything exciting going on, as his homework was proving a bit boring. Stepping out of the stairwell and on to the patio, he waves at the small group already here and heads for a chair near the rest of the people.

The kite catches his attention for a moment, but then the actual dragon makes an appearance and the kite becomes second best of things to pay attention to. Though he's doubtlessly seen Lockheed as he moved around the school, this is the first time he's gotten a good look at the little guy when neither of them were headed anywhere.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna gets a little nervous when the dragon starts to fly around, not wanting to hurt Kitty's pet but she is pretty sure the dragon has a better sense of self preservation than she has. "Careful there boy.." She tries to give Lockheed something to play with, carefully moving and swaying the kite so that it can move in sync with the pet dragon. A smile breaks out on her face as she find herself having fun with the kite. "Where did you get the idea for a dragon kite anyway?

Kitty Pryde has posed:
As Evan makes it out onto the roof, Kitty spots the movement and she looks over and flashes him a welcoming smile and a wave. She dons her sunglasses after cleaning with her shirt any smudges that Lockheed left.

To Rahne, she says, "Oh, from him of course," with a laugh and a little wave up towards where Lockheed is playing as if with a larger cousin. "Nah, actually, I saw a video on the internet. I went looking to buy one and the only ones I could find were kind of cartoonish looking. Where the first video was like this, a much more realistic dragon," she says. "So Forge helped me put me it together. It's a lot of separate pieces joined together," she explains.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Evan chuckles and chimes in, "And besides, I bet he wouldn't take kindly to your tying a string around his tail." He takes his phone out and snaps a quick picture of Lockheed playing with the kite. "That one goes back to the parents. Not so many dragons in Colorado, they'll love it." A couple screen taps later and the picture is on it's way. He returns the phone to his pocket and asks, "So, folks up here for a reason, or just to chill and enjoy a nice day?"

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna nods and then carefully returns control to Kitty before she looks to Evan and nods her head towards him, she watches the dragon fly with the kite and smiles. "That is so adorable.." She then looks to Evan and gives a nod to him not wanting to ignore him she was just a little preoccupied with the kite. "Hello there, how are you doing?

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
"Not too bad, homework is boring, but I now have a car, so I'd say I'm doing pretty good. Well, more really good, honestly." He pauses for a moment, then adds "We need to do that fencing thing more often though, that was fun." He pantomimes a parry and thrust action as he speaks.

He glances up at the sky and says "It's nice when we make it out of winter and start getting nice days. Not that cold really bothers me, but it's no fun sitting outside by yourself."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
"I'm just relaxing a bit during lunch. My server at work is CPU maxed out right now compiling anyway," she says, giving a slight yawn. She works more than her contract calls for anyway. Getting to play with Stark tech will do that for a girl like Kitty.

"Speaking of, I should go down and check on it. A bit much to view over my phone," she says. "Rahne, when you're done with it, just lower it down gradually, I'll come out and gather it up later, if you would," she says with a smile. If that is ok, Kitty heads towards the stairs then. "Yep, enjoy the weather, Evan," she tells him with a smile. "And don't be a terror on the roads with your car," she adds with a grin before heading down.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Never meaning to be rude, but even when you've escaped your duties, you haven't really. Lorna did greet Kitty initially and give Lockheed a kindly underchin scratch, a phone call pulled the Queen of Genosha away from the scene and add she again returns via flight with her metal harness hidden against her lithe body. Lorna spies the gaggle that has gathered at the rooftop and pauses near the kite, debating going down and doing the whole... introduction... thing.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Between watching the kite and the Lockheed, Evan is looking up when Lorna makes her reappearance. He waves up to her, settling into the chair he's chosen and enjoying the sun. For anyone wondering, no, grey skinned people apparently do not sunburn. Or at least he never has. There could be multiple reasons for this, but he's never really thought it over.

He calls up to Lorna, "Comon and join us, things are nice and relaxed right now. We're either skipping classes or not scheduled for any at the moment."

Lorna Dane has posed:
"If I'm late for class. I might as well push it back to my 10 year reunion." Lorna says as she lowers down the air, a hand reaching out to trace the kite string in her way down. "And you are?" She asks Evan as her shoes touch down and she walks casually over to extend a hand towards Evan. Dainty and soft are her fingers and hand but there is the hint of calluses past beneath her skin and on her knuckles.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
Sitting back up to shake the offered hand, Evan introduces himself "I'm Evan, it's my first year here. Apparently I was a late bloomer from what I've learned of mutants since arriving." Once the introduction is done he settles back into the chair.

"Must be fun to be able to fly around. Cuts traffic right out of your travel plans, no doubt." He considers the green haired woman for a moment then adds, "Older than a student, haven't seen you teaching, I'm guessing you are one of the various mutants who seem to live here for some reason. Which is a little strange if you think about it. You don't see college graduates continue living on campus after they graduate."

Lorna Dane has posed:
"It is a little strange." Lorna admits as she turns to find the ledge and lean against the railing, eyes looking out into the trees beyond the property. "I'm here on a sort of vacation or hiatus or Betty Ford rehab season. I don't ****in' know." The queen admits and sighs heavily her neck and shoulders slumping into herself leaving her arms almost above her head.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahne Sinclair listens into at the other students for a moment a smile tracing her face as she passes and finds her little sunny spot and opens her book again. "Sounds like you two had a 'normal' introduction to your mutations. Me I was chased by a torch wielding mob because they thought I was a werewolf.." Which is not far from the truth, she always found werewolf fiction fun ever since she learned of it. Then Twilight came out and now she is embarrassed cause of the damn Jacob team.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
With a chuckle, Evan replies "Well, at least you have a nice day to try to figure it out on. Grab a chair and relax, I find that it gets a little easier to figure things out when I'm a little more relaxed."

He turns his head to look at Rahne, "Well, if you can call panicking while trying to figure out how to save your parents who were trapped in a cave-in normal. I mean, I guess it could be, I understand a lot of us tend to manifest our mutations under stress the first time. I certainly can't complain, I still have parents because of it."

Lorna Dane has posed:
"I was more of a Harry Potter girl myself Rahne." Lorna notes as if she knows how upset the girl is about anything pop culture relating to books. Eyes still on the greenery around, Lorna tries to collect her thoughts but all she gets is that a teenager is telling her life is easier to figure out when you're relaxed. That, decidedly, isn't helping her relax but the stateswoman is more than practiced enough to keep that off her body language. Then there's talk of mutation origin and that sigh is audible, but again any follow up is unspoken. As she thinks these kids don't need to hear it and need to vent on their own. "Sounds rough." She covers.

Rahne Sinclair has posed:
Rahna pauses for a moment as she consider. "Well it lead me to my step mother. And she brought me here, so it wasn't all that bad. But it left a impression. Thankfully Professor Xavier and the other students helped me become the lady I am today." She then looks down at the letters on her pages. "Still to immature to teach however. According to the staff.." She smiles a little bit.

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
"The books weren't too bad, but Rowling isn't that great at world building. Some of the stuff just doesn't make a lot of sense when you stop to think about it." He nods to Rahne "Wow, you lived the while cliche, huh? They really had actual torches? That's a level of dedication you don't see too often these days." He grins a little at the mental picture.

With a chuckle he asks, "Any idea why they think that? You did a good job with the fencing club setup after all." He pauses for a moment then adds, "I don't know that I'd want to be a teacher, even though my parents both teach. Too much paperwork. Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out what it is I do want to do when I graduate."

Lorna Dane has posed:
"It's why I don't." Lorna chimes in with a snap to punctuate her thought. Lorna takes another deep breath through her nose before turning her head to face Rahne in profile, "They're all silly and immature. If they say they aren't, they're lying. Trust me." The insolence words of 'go be a teacher' remain lingering in the ether for Rahne to pull down herself. Then turning her head to face Evan in profile, Lorna smirks, "Most people never really find it. they find things they can do that make them happy, and that's truly the best option. just enjoy life and savor the little moments." She sighs before her feet lift off the floor hm's she slowly tumbles up through the air end over end. "Oh my god they're taking me!" She hollers near the top of her lungs as she twists awkwardly and slowly through the air before laughing and waving. "Bye everyone. I'm gonna go get a cookie pizza. BECAUSE I WANT ONE!"

Evan Sabahnur has posed:
"Ok, I think I like her, she's a little weird." He chuckles and stretches a bit before relaxing back into the chair. "The world needs more weird, keeps it from getting boring. And if you want to teach here, just keep nagging whoever's in charge of those decisions. Sooner or later they'll probably let you try it just to get you to stop bothering them. Carefully applied annoyance can get you pretty far in this world."

There's a beep from his phone, and he taps the screen. "Whoops, got late pretty quick. I'm afraid I need to run. Remember, applied nagging works." He stands from his chair and heads over towards the stairs, waving to Rahne as he goes.
